Although I think Logan Webb will probably win the Sarmad Khan due to him having the most goals and points in the league and voters just voting for the top player, I genuinely think that my vote will go to Justin Time this year. The soon-to-be first-ballot hall-of-famer finished the year with a 40-12-2 record with the first last San Francisco Pride. The same arguments made against Webb can be used against Time. They both played together on the best team in the league. Webb played on the best line in the league, and Time played with the best roster ahead of him. However, despite supporting a 2.54 goals against average, good for first in the league, and a 0.923 save percentage, also first in the league, there is one stat that stands out to me. Justin Time saved 48.97 goals saved above average. The second best was Evil Kyle Murray of the Baltimore Platoon with 29.72. That stat popped out to me. It's not like the team in front of him is playing outstanding defense and not making Time face a lot of shots. He's performing at an elite level and has the numbers to back it up. It's hard to compare forwards and goalies when it comes to statistics but when it comes down to the fine margins, I think he slides a little ahead of Webb for me. [231 words] ![]() ![]() ![]() |
