The rule change that I would implement is that if any team reaches 6 home losses in the playoffs, they are automatically bumped from the playoffs and the team that handed them the sixth loss is automatically moved to the next round. Teams would have to be much more intent on getting the job done at home and not losing in their own barns. Let's say you get through the first round in a sweep or no home losses - well, not a problem! You have a decent chance of making it to the Finals without much danger. But if you struggle in the first and second rounds, your fate in the Conf Finals or Finals may teeter on the edge. Imagine if we had a bottom dweller team end up advancing on some luck and opponent home losses only to face a powerhouse in the final with zero mulligan losses left to burn. Absolute chaos. The underdog could win the Cup in game 1.
