There are a number of players that have had outstandings years. I think Fantasy Hockey Manager really pushes for success being seen in the way of scoring. I think it’s also the easy answer for people to vote for the player that has the most points. I think there is a Goalie that should get recognition though. The San Francisco Pride goalie, Justin Time. Yes, he is on an amazing team, but he also puts up amazing stats. Forty wins in 54 games is unreal. Winning 75% of the games he plays in. It’s not the most wins he’s gotten in his career but he has had a career year for other stats. S81 was his best save % year, second best GAA and fourth most shutouts. He also had the second most saves of his career. A career year doesn’t mean he deserves MVP though. Let’s look at how he compares to his peers. First in wins with 7 more than second. First in GAA, first in GSAA, first in save %, first in shutouts and fifth in shutouts. This guy is next level and deserves to be called MVP. |
