The first player to jump out as a candidate for the Sarmad Khan other than the top scoring forward is Jae-ik Barron. Barron is the only player to hit the 100 point mark this season without having at least one teammate post at least 90 points. Atlanta also finished second in the overall standings and Barron carried a heavy load for a team that performed well, arguably a more important player to his team than Webb was to SFP. On the defensive side, while one might be tempted to go with one of the Seattle duo of blueliners who put up gaudy goal and assist numbers, in my opinion Ace Lightning gets the nod over either of them. Lightning put up 57 points, good for second among all defensemen for a relatively mediocre Baltimore team that wasn't exactly loaded with offensive firepower. But perhaps more importantly, Lightning led the league in takeaways and time on ice, while also putting up respectable blocked shot numbers in addition to his offensive contributions. For that, I'd consider Ace Lightning the strongest candidate to topple Webb. (185 words)
