I think assists are a better metric for judging the usefulness of a player to their team than goals are, so let's look at a couple of players with a higher assist ratio than Webb: Ubba Lodbrok, Shadow Fenix, and Jae-ik Barron. Obviously, these players are all at the top of the points list right behind Webb, but they all have significantly higher assist ratios. Webb's is 53.7%, while Fenix is at 59.2%, Barron at a round 59%, and Lodbrok at a whopping 63.4%. But all of these are over 50%, you may say! And, yes, that is true. But what we have here is an indicator of how often a player creates or sees opportunities for their teammates, which is arguably more important than being able to just get out there and score the goals yourself. Among those three players, Barron put up the most game winning goals at 6 in the course of the season, which is more than even Webb pulled off, so the clutch factor is there. Therefore, my pick would be Jae-ik Barron. ![]() |
