Stick to 16 GM RAM, thats super great, 32 isnt needed to be honest. A good SSD, which many have pointed out, will make a much bigger difference. I currently have 16GB RAM and its great, my next purchase will be an SSD.
AMD is fine, I've always preferred Intel for my CPUs though.
