TASK 1: (Written, 3 TPE)
For most players season 46 is over and you have had a bit of time to reflect on your season. Talk to us about how you did.. what were some of your players best and worst moments? what were your overall numbers? did you meet your individual goals? what areas in your game were you happy with and what areas fell short? Must be 150 words or more. ---------------------------------- Goku Muerto had a season of ups and downs. There were several highlight moments : he achieved career highs in goals, assists, and points, showing improvement in all offensive categories. He also got his first ever hat trick! And, in the last game of the season, he got his first ever short-handed goal! Woo! And, the team also showed great improvement and they came right down to the last game of the season to try and make the playoffs, so even though they fell short by 1 point, it was a big improvement to be in the fight right down to the end! As far as what needs to improve next season, Goku needs to get better defensively, and needs to show that he can keep improving offensively and develop into a top tier playmaker. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ACP Access S17 Challenge Cup Champion
Task 1:
For Daniel Smeb, going straight into the SHL as a true rookie he didn't have many expectations for how good he'd do. Going into the season he wasn't actually sure what his goal was numbers wise other than doing well, but around 20 points would be nice, obviously he wanted to be the top rookie and win rookie of the year but that would be much harder with all the older rookies In the end Daniel Smeb did finish with 20 points and a +- of 6, both which he was quite happy with. His best moment was probably either his first SHL game or his first SHL goal as he had to wait so long for it, while his worst moment was probably ending up missing the playoffs with Chicago. Speaking of his worst moment one area where he felt he fell short was his goal scoring as despite putting up 20 points only 2 of these were goals, despite being a playmaker Daniel would like to improve on his scoring in the future. Task 3: 2. Although the playoff index is now updated so i'm not sure what their stats were leading into the finals, they did finish quite close to each other so i'll say Cains run to the finals was more impressive as i believe they had a much harder and closer run in the playoffs getting through the west. 3 F Viktor Marius F Joe Kurczewski F Oisin Fletcher D Tatu Makela D GOD MCZ G Aleister Cain I'd choose this starting lineup as it has a good mix of everything, passing scoring physicality face off skills everything up front, as well as a dominant d pair with two monsters and god names like tatu and god mcz. Aleister Cain is also an already very good young goalie who will only get better. 5. I believe Chicago should get the leagues next all star game between New Orleans and Buffalo. First off it would be great for further promoting one of the leagues new teams, and second off they have a lot of connection to New Orleans as their fellow expansion brothers, and to Buffalo with two of their main players in Luke Atmey and Fredrich Koening coming from Buffalo 6. The 3 most dangerous player on this ice this series are GOD MCZ, Samuel Jalopski and Joe Kurczewski. GOD MCZ is always dangerous and an absolute terror on the ice because you never know when he'll just randomly kick you in the face. As for Samuel Jalopski although he doesnt show it he has some ELITE and scary genes, and if those genes ever activate he will be a menace. As for Joe K he's just a good player that scores a lot and is just coming off the experience of a cup win 7 I believe Samuel Jalopski is Buffalos unsung hero of the playoffs so far. The reason for this is despite disrespectfully being given barely any ice time and then being benched, Jalopski has been a constant work horse for the Stampede and has a +- of 4. While the majority of the Stampede in the playoffs do have a high +- there are still quite a few in the negatives, but not Samuel Jalopski the defensive stalwart that he is Task 9: For most series even in the finals there usually is a favorite regardless of by how much they're the favorite. Although it may sound cheesy to say so i do believe this is one of the closest series there is and will be. Both Buffalo and New Orleans are extremely talented deep and well rounded teams. I believe Buffalo may slightly be the more talented team but New Orleans has more experience. If i had to pick a favourite even if i don't think its by much at all I would probably go with New Orleans due to their experience and although regular season doesn't mean anything in the playoffs they did win both match ups with Buffalo. For Buffalo to win this series I think they'll have to come out hot and really step up their game, i dont think they've really been challenged so far winning two easy 5 game series on their way to the finals and will be met with a much tougher challenge then what they've faced so far. As for NOLA they need to just keep playing their game and hopefully haven't been tired out from two tough series vs LA and MIN. Task 11: This past season Daniel Smeb recently cracked the Chicago Syndicate roster as a true rookie because hes just that good. He spent most of the season as the first line center along with a few games as the 2nd line center. Whether this opportunity was because he's just that good or because Chicago needed a Center is up for debate. However its rumored that the Syndicate were not that impressed with his performance so offensive yet defensive liability super star Luke Atmey will be converting to center because if you want a face off won don't let Daniel Smeb take it. So now Daniel Smeb will have to compete with atmey haugen and some new apparent hotshot rookie center they picked in the recent drafted called martin westbrook or something weird, but he's not too worried about him, regardless Smeb will have to work hard to cement a position as the #1 C on Chicago. Task 13: History will be made, sick of the same constant SHL dominance and winners every single season from the likes of the Calgary Dragons, Edmonton Blizzard, West Kendal Platoon, Winnipeg Jets and some others. Well not this season because this finals history will be made. A new team will hoist the cup for the first time in their franchise history. Both are expansion teams who have never won a cup with one never having a chance to until this season. The Buffalo Stampede a team just eclipsing their 20th anniversary mark in the SHL will be battling for the cup after a franchise history of mostly failure. Their opponent will the brand new fresh expansion team in the New Orleans Specters who have had immense success in their young stint in the SHL, this finals not only will a new team but an expansion team will hoist the cup, and history will be made. For most players season 46 is over and you have had a bit of time to reflect on your season. Talk to us about how you did.. what were some of your players best and worst moments? what were your overall numbers? did you meet your individual goals? what areas in your game were you happy with and what areas fell short? Must be 150 words or more. In Season 46, although the Blizzard did not go far in the playoffs and was a fringe team all season, Teddy Cuddles pulled through and carried the Blizzard for a career season. Besides that lethal Minnesota top line, nobody scored more points than Teddy Cuddles, who put up 60 points, smashing his career high of 53. Teddy blew his previous career high in goals out of the water, scoring 29 goals when he previous high was 21 in Season 44. Cuddles also dished the puck to his teammates well, gathering a total of 31 assists, coming one behind his career high he set in Season 44. Cuddles was a plus seven on the season on a Blizzard team which struggled to win games at points during the year. Cuddles laid the body hard and often, racking up 152 hits, the fourth most in his career, keeping him on track to surpass Theo Kane’s Blizzard hit record. Overall, it was a great season for Cuddles. Task 3: (Written, up to 5 TPE) Pick up to 5 challenge cup related topics to write about! Each topic is worth '1' TPE. Each answer must be 50 words or more. 1. Between Buffalo's (WannabeFinn, Tomen) and New Orleans (JKortesi81, TheDangaZone) which set of GM's have the tactical/managerial advantage in this series and why? 2. Between Cedric Robinson and Aleister Cain which goalie would you say had the more impressive run towards this championship series, and why? 3. Between both rosters, create an all Challenge Cup starting lineup! (D, D, F, F, F, G) and in 50 words or more explain alittle about your selections. 4. Choose 1 young player from each team (either on their roster or a prospect of theirs) who you believe will be there teams next important player and why? *tag that player* 1. Both GM tandems in the Challenge Cup Finals this season are superb and truly are two of the best in the business, but if I have to give an edge to one I would give it to the New Orleans Specters. Joe has had fantastic success with St. Louis and TDZ won 4 straight goals at the head of Team Ireland 2.Both goalies were two of the best in the league this season, but I think Aleister Cain’s season is more impressive than Cedric Robinson’s. Cainer had a much weaker D in front of him all season and Robinson had Buffalo’s fantastic D guarding the net. Cainer had to be the better goalie this season to put up those stats 3. F: Joe Kurczewski F: Roman Augustus F: Oisin Fletcher D: Tatu Makela D: GOD McZ G: Aleister Cain I chose this team because they are truly the best at their position in this series. The Specters have the 3 best forwards in the series and they are all absolute studs. Makela and McZ are two of the best all around defensemen in the league and they are both amazing defensively. Cainer is the man. 4. Aleister Cain is by far the most important young player for the New Orleans Specters. A great goalie is the key to success for any team and Aleister Cain has shown signs of being a top tier goaltender in the league in just his first season. His development will be to the Specters future @SlashACM Task 5: (Written, 3 TPE) Ooof, you happened to walk into one of the challenge cup teams locker room and witnessed a truly shocking visual which left you stunned! You closed your eyes and quickly left the premises... word has gotten out that something went down in the LR but the details are murky.. HO is investigating the matter and asking you 'the eye witness' to explain what happened! Must be 150 words or more. *tag anyone involved* I was at the Specters Arena to go see some old friends... Joe Kurczewski, Roman Augustus, Aleister Cain, DeMarcius Smyth, Clint Eastwood, and Nicholas Williams. I thought it was going to be a normal day until I opened the door to the locker room and I expected happy greetings from my old friends on the Specters. Instead, I saw some illegal activity going on. I was shocked and I really couldn’t believe it. In the State of Louisiana, fake wrestling matches are illegal and I saw Cain and Williams fake wrestling in the locker room! This is a very real law “RS 4:75 §75. Sham or fake contests or exhibitions Whoever conducts or is a party to any sham or fake boxing contest or wrestling exhibition shall forfeit his license and shall not thereafter be entitled to receive any license pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. Acts 1974, No. 553,§ 1.” and now Cain and Williams will have to lose their licenses. I just cannot believe this villainy going on with the Specters @SlashACM @Nictox Task 11: (Written, 3 TPE) There will be many SMJHL players watching this Challenge Cup series and dreaming of the day that they are involved in the SHL's biggest staged event. but first things first,, you have to make an SHL teams 20 man roster. Talk about where your player is at within your SHL organization, who are the prospects that you'll be competing with for a roster spot? when do you hope to make the big clubs roster and what are your individual expectations in that rookie season? Must be 150 words or more. On the Edmonton Blizzard, there is no bigger man up front than Teddy Cuddles. Cuddles is currently the longest serving Blizzard player and he has been a star for the team the past few seasons. Coming off of a career high 60 point season, Cuddles will be expected to put the team on his back and lead the Blizzard to success in the next season. Cuddles is getting a little old though and will be looking to retire within the next 4 or 5 seasons. That is when the new generation if Blizzard will take over. Guys like Tony Pepperoni, Willy Mack, James Truong, and new draftees such as Marc Hagan will have to pick up the slack when Cuddles is gone. Cuddles, along with his linemates Cory Knouse and Hercules Rockefeller will be leading the charge for the next few seasons but the end of their era is coming up soon so the young Blizzard in the system will have to develop well to fill the big whole that they will leave. For most players season 46 is over and you have had a bit of time to reflect on your season. Talk to us about how you did.. what were some of your players best and worst moments? what were your overall numbers? did you meet your individual goals? what areas in your game were you happy with and what areas fell short? Must be 150 words or more. This was my first season as a send down for the Toronto North Stars and there was no expectations playing my second season for Lethbridge due to us being a new expansion team in S45. Individually, I wanted to expand on a decent rookie season and become more productive as a two-year veteran. A big growing point is that I am playing big minutes and is top 5 in the league for minutes played. A disappointing factor was that I was taking more hits than I was dishing out. I want to have the identity that I am not a sponge and that wasn't the case this year. Statistically, I was a 0.56 PPG d-man and ended up +16. Our team did struggle offensively throughout the season so I am happy with the numbers I ended up with. Best moment was winning our first playoff game. Worst moment was getting swept after winning our first playoff game. I would say that the Buffalo GMs have the tactical and managerial advantage. They have shown to have a great eye on amateur drafting by having a very deep prospect pool. New Orleans is also an expansion team which gives them the disadvantage of being inexperienced but it is quite impressive what they were able to achieve. Buffalo also finished first in the league for the regular season so whatever they are doing is working. 4. Choose 1 young player from each team (either on their roster or a prospect of theirs) who you believe will be there teams next important player and why? *tag that player* @FuzzSHL Michael Fox led his SMJHL team to win the championship in S46 as their captain. He has shown to be a consistent performer in both the regular season and play-offs. He will become an important player for New Orleans in the future. @TnlAstatine As a teammate of Monkey D. Luffy, I know how committed he is to win. Unfortunately, the results have not panned out for his effort. He will score goals and he will try hard and that will benefit Buffalo in the future. 5. You have been asked by the league to choose a destination for next seasons all star game and its between New Orleans and Buffalo, which city did you decide should get this important league event and why? New Orleans should get the all star game. Good food, good people, and great party atmosphere. The great nightlife will give the all stars lots of opportunity to rest and relax and keep their minds free from hockey for a short period of time. It will also be a great area to visit for fans of the SHL. It would be a great achievement for the new expansion team to host the all-star game. 6. Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why? Oliver Konig (BUF) - The top offensive producer for Buffalo in the post-season. He is shooting at a high percentage and is bound to hit the back of the net with the opportunities he creates for himself. Kevin Hamilton (BUF) - Along with being the second highest scorer on Buffalo, the man hits like a truck. He will be the most dangerous player on the ice inflicting pain onto the opposing Specters. Joe Kurzaewski (NOR) - Joe will be a top offensive threat for New Orleans. Lined up on the second line, he is primed to take advantage not playing against Buffalo's top players. 7. Who has been there teams surprise player/unsung hero in the post season and why?..must include at least 1 stat to back up claim. Xavier Paquette (NOR) - Xavier is the unsung hero for New Orleans because out of his 21 points in the post season, only one has come on the power-play. Goals scored on even-strength create a huge momentum for the team and Xavier is a top contributor in that department. He also is +8 with only 1 penalty taken all post-season so his defensive game is top-notch. Task 11: (Written, 3 TPE) There will be many SMJHL players watching this Challenge Cup series and dreaming of the day that they are involved in the SHL's biggest staged event. but first things first,, you have to make an SHL teams 20 man roster. Talk about where your player is at within your SHL organization, who are the prospects that you'll be competing with for a roster spot? when do you hope to make the big clubs roster and what are your individual expectations in that rookie season? Must be 150 words or more. Currently, I am the only defensive prospect (send-down) for the Toronto North Stars. As this is the current situation, there are no other prospects that I would be competing for a roster spot. Toronto's d-core is filled with veterans so I do not expect to be called up to the big club for another season or two. This will allow me to gain experience being a top impact player in the SMJHL which will help translate when I do get called up to the SHL. Individually I would hope to make the SHL roster by S50 the latest. Expectations for my rookie season will not be high. Unfortunately, Toronto's d-men will be regressing so they will not be as strong as they currently are. Although this will allow me more opportunity to play, I would have loved to play with them in their prime. Hopefully Toronto drafts more defensive prospects to push me to become better. Task 1
Gabriel Wong had the best season of his career production wise. Finally starting to produce for the West Kendall Platoon, he had 18 goals, 34 assists and a plus 10. While this may be his most productive season on ice, Gabriel Wong was not happy with how he played this season. “I may have finished 13th in points this season, we still didn’t finish in a playoff spot. And that’s the main goal. I can go my whole career with having average production, but if I’m helping my team win and helping us win the cup, that’s the goal. I finally got first line time this season, and while I appreciate it, I think I just proved that I should be a 2nd line center. First line players should be superstars, carrying most of the workload, but I wasn’t able to help enough.” Gabriel Wong is going to train extra hard this offseason, knowing he is getting past his prime. With 2 cups under his belt, Gabriel Wong wants a 3rd to at least tie Hunter Wong. Code: 177 words Task 3 1. I would give the Buffalo management duo of Wannabefinn and Tomen the advantage in this series. While JKortesi81 and TheDangaZone definitely helped the managerial team on Calgary for years, the Buffalo duo has done it and gone through almost every challenge that has been thrown at them. They are ready for their Challenge Cup after years of misery. Code: 58 words 4. S45 player Alexander Selich is a rapidly growing prospect for the Buffalo Stampede. He has been slowly developing off the ice and coaches and management have been high on this young talent. He has great shooting ability and is great at both ends of the ice. While the depth on Buffalo has pretty much kept him off the ice, the second he gets more ice time, expect this guy to light up the league for years to come. @Tomen Code: 78 words 5. New Orleans should get the next all-star game. With two future hall of famers on this expansion team, Joe Kurczewski and Roman Augustus, this would be the perfect time to capitalize on the popularity of hockey in New Orleans and the area. After recently getting an SHL team, getting 2 amazing players and now reaching the cup finals, the time is now to cash in on this market. Code: 68 words 6. DeMaricus Smyth is not a player other teams overlook. But so far in the playoffs, he is being outshined by Joe, Fletcher and Paquette, with 23, 21 and 21 points respectively. Smyth is not having a quiet playoff with 17 points, but what makes him outstanding is 11 of those 17 points are goals. And out of those 11 goals 4 of them have been game winning goals! He scored the game 7 overtime goal in round 1 against the Panthers that sent them off to round 2. After a grueling series, he was the hero that sent his team on. Code: 101 words Task 5 While Gabriel Wong was just walking around the Buffalo arena, he accidentally walked into their locker room. And what he saw was an absolutely crazy sight that he thought he would never have to see in his life. What he saw was Tatu Mäkelä jerking off in the middle of the locker room onto a bunch of his teammates’ gloves. Tatu heard a noise behind him and immediately so Gabriel, covering his eyes and trying to get out of the room. Tatu told him to stop and not tell anyone, trying to explain himself. He claims that this wasn’t a fetish or anything that he wanted to do. He said he was doing it for the better of the team, trying to make his players’ gloves more sticky so they don’t get their sticks slashed out of their hands. He says doing this pretty much ensures that they cannot lose their sticks on board battles and they’re doing whatever it takes to win the cup. Gabriel says nothing and just walks away. @WannabeFinn Code: 172 words Task 9 The Buffalo Stampede and New Orleans Specters head into the Challenge Cup Finals, both having successful regular seasons. Buffalo finished the season with the best record, finishing 28-14-8 and New Orleans didn’t do much worse, finishing 27-19-4. Going off of regular season statistics, Buffalo has the edge, finishing with a better goals for per game with a 3.44, compared to New Orleans 2.96. However, New Orleans came in first in the league for goals against with a 2.70, but Buffalo came in second with 2.78. These two teams are quite equal defensively, but Buffalo’s got the better offence, lead by Marius and Kong, who had 59 and 52 points respectively. New Orleans beat the Panthers in 7 in the playoffs in round 1 and beat Minnesota in 6 in round 2. Buffalo beat both the Steelhawks and Rage in 5 games, so they will be the more fresh team going into the finals. The wildcard? New Orleans has 1, 2 and 3 points leaders right now in the playoffs with Joe K, Fletcher and Paquette. Buffalo however has 4 and 5, with 3 less games played. This will be an amazing, tight and interesting series. Code: 195 words Task 14 PM'd ![]() Registered Scott Stevens
Championship week is here as the Buffalo Stampede take on the New Orleans Specters in the S46 Challenge Cup finals! The SHL is about to showcase its greatest individual event and you are apart of it with your contributions to this post! You will be paid in TPE which is earned by completing the tasks below. Each assignment will vary in TPE amount so please read each task carefully! You can earn up to '16' uncapped TPE . Feel free to do more than that, but you won't get the credit for anything over 16.
[Note: All tasks that are not league-specific can be done for either the SHL or the SMJHL playoffs.] Code: TASK 1: (Written, 3 TPE) I did really amazing this season, improving from a below average goalie last season to 2nd best to Nadeau! To cap off a tremendous season, Casimir Stevens had a 29 save shutout in the all-star game plus 1 assist, to win 1st star. Stevens met his individual goal of rising to the true top tier of goalies in the SMJHL, but was not happy with team success. Although there was 8 rookies on the team, Vancouver has a stacked 2 season window now before Stevens, Boromi Canoli, and Efiug and Off leave for the big leagues. The areas he was most proud of his game include saves and low GAA, finishing 2nd in each. I did not get many shutouts though so this as well as rebound control are areas to improve upon next season. Some of my best moments included the 2 first stars, as well as shutouts. The worst was the first round exit in the playoffs, extremely dissappointing. I believe that Tomen and WannabeFinn have the advantage due to the sheer superiority of their team on paper. Stampede have three lines that can score a hat trick on any given night, and this is pure devastation to opposing goalies. Look for Robinson to have the easiest series of his life with that defense too. 2. Between Cedric Robinson and Aleister Cain which goalie would you say had the more impressive run towards this championship series, and why? I would say that Aleister Cain has the more impressive run so far, taking down the monstrous offense that is Nova-Watson-Skillstedt in Minnesota. NOLA have been the underdogs up to this point while Robinson has been playing with a superteam in front of him this whole time. Robinson has had the luxury of good defense and offense, while NOLA is mainly carried by their two stars and some depth. 5. You have been asked by the league to choose a destination for next seasons all star game and its between New Orleans and Buffalo, which city did you decide should get this important league event and why? This is the easiest decision known to man. Think about Buffalo. It's cold and in uneventful upstate New York. Think about New Orleans. Isn't that all you have to say. Warm, amazing party lifestyle, all the players would be hungover at the game. People WANT to vist New Orleans and would go to the game. People might go to Buffalo if they like hockey enough. League makes more money with NOLA. 6. Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why? First I gotta go with my man Aleister Cain. He is coming off a McBride nominated season and is known to stand on his head like a Lundqvist. Then Robinson can also stonewall other teams, he is a dangerous mistress who is known for his trash talk. Then of course for third we have Joe Kurczewski, who has been leading NOLA all playoffs and currently a Razov candidate 7. Who has been there teams surprise player/unsung hero in the post season and why?..must include at least 1 stat to back up claim. Oliver Konig. He came out of nowhere to lead the playoffs in goals, and is absolutely reaking havoc. The stat rationalization for this pick for me is that Oliver was not even top 10 in goals in regular season. He is now leading in fewer games, which is quite impressive. Look for his dominance to be praised once this is all over. Code: Task 9: (Written, 3 TPE) Hello guys this is Casimir Stevens here, happy to be on tv and talk the series here with you. I believe the favorite in this series has to be Buffalo. The Stampede are well known across the league as being the most unfair team, they have gamebreaking dominance that head office has even had talks of assassinating one of their players to make things more fair. Their TPE is off the charts and this is the reason I think they win. Strongest offense in the league, stacked defense and a rookie goaltender playing out of his mind. New Orleans is the underdog especially due to being an expansion team, but you have to give credit where credit is due, these GMs did an excellent job scraping together a star studded team and Aleister Cain has been the cherry on top. If Joe K, Roman Augustus, and Aleister Cain have the best series of their lives they will stand a shot. Code: Task 13: (Written, 3 TPE) From the depths of despair, Buffalo has risen. They have fallen one too many times and are used to losing. (Images of Buffalo players crying from playoff losses). History has not been kind. (now faster paced upbeat music). But now, they are back. Buffalo has made it to the finals. Will they breakthrough to what has eluded them for so long? (clip of a guy scoring a goal). Or will they fall back into the footnote of shl history? (Buffalo player falls to his knees). The SHL has a long history, and some wonder if Buffalo will ever be part of it. The Challenge Cup is history. Buffalo's failure is it's history. Will this be the year? Will the goal go in? Will the saves be made? Will the players rejoice in joy, or cry in pain? Will the breakaway and powerplay goals that have eluded Buffalo be made. And will the Cup be raised...This will be the year. This time.. For most players season 46 is over and you have had a bit of time to reflect on your season. Talk to us about how you did.. what were some of your players best and worst moments? what were your overall numbers? did you meet your individual goals? what areas in your game were you happy with and what areas fell short? Must be 150 words or more. Well, Tatu Makela had a rather marvelous performance in Season 46. He consistantly played top pairing minutes alongside GOD McZehrl and finished his campaign with 6 goals and 36 assists for 42 points, a +25 rating, 82 penalty minutes, 139 hits, 81 shots on goal, and 73 blocked shots while averaging 24.26 minutes per game. It's tough to ask for much better production from a defenseman. Following the end of Season 46, Makela played a critical role in his team's run to the Challenge Cup and he was nominated for the Scott Stevens Trophy, the trophy awarded annually to the player deemed the best defenseman in the league. I would say that I met my individual goals and I'm happy with pretty much everything. However, I still want to push myself to the next level. I think I'd like to try and get 10+ goals, 40+ assists, and 150+ hits. Well.. I'm going to say Buffalo has the advantage. I've been managing Buffalo for 10 seasons now, and Tomen has been co-GM in Buffalo for about 8 or 9 seasons over the course of two different stints. This season is the first time for either Joe or TDZ to hold a management position in the SHL. And I mean.. we won. 3. Between both rosters, create an all Challenge Cup starting lineup! (D, D, F, F, F, G) and in 50 words or more explain alittle about your selections. F - Xavier Paquette F - Oliver Konig F - Kevin Hamilton D - GOD McZehrl D - Alexis Metzler G - Cedric Robinson Xavier Paquette was on fire during the Challenge Cup Finals. Oliver Konig led the Cup winning Stampede in points and goals, including 8 goals in the 7-game series. Kevin Hamilton played a strong two-way game throughout the postseason. GOD McZehrl and Alexis Metzler lead the way in both ends of the ice for the Stampede, stepping up big time when they were needed. Cedric Robinson was the best goalie in the post-season. 4. Choose 1 young player from each team (either on their roster or a prospect of theirs) who you believe will be there teams next important player and why? *tag that player* Cassius Darrow @hhh81 will be the next important player for the Buffalo Stampede. He made his SHL debut in the playoffs and filled in admirably on the 3rd pairing as the Stampede won their first ever Challenge Cup. He projects to be an impactful top-4 defenseman for the Stampede going forward. 6. Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why? Oliver Konig - He's been a two-way force all season long and his 8 goals in the Finals were too much for New Orleans to handle. Xavier Paquette - His line was leading the way for the Specters during the Finals, and he was a big reason for their 3-2 lead in the series. Joe Kurczewski - He's been around the block a time or two and his chemistry with Xavier Paquette was undeniable. 7. Who has been there teams surprise player/unsung hero in the post season and why?..must include at least 1 stat to back up claim. Hippo Passamus went scoreless in the first round series against the Hamilton Steelhawks, and posted 9 points in the next 10 games. His surging offensive game was crucial for the Stampede to overcome the New Orleans Specters. Passmus has been a complimentary piece to the dynamic Konig-Marius connection, but in the final stretch for the Challenge Cup he stepped up and became an equally important part of that dominant line. Task 9: (Written, 3 TPE) You have been asked to spend a few minutes on air with the series commentators during the game 1 preshow! During that segment they ask you to do a full break down on the series... in 150 words or more tell them who you believe is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why.. as well as your thoughts on what each team needs to do or not do to win the challenge cup. "Well, I gotta be honest, I think that the Buffalo Stampede come into this series as the favorite. They absolutely demolished the competition in the first few rounds of the playoffs and they haven't shown any signs of slowing down. New Orleans on the other hand had a tougher time getting here, just barely squeaking by the Panthers. The Stampede right now are just firing on all cylinders, they have a stacked group of forwards, a strong top 4 defense complimented by some quality depth guys, and a sensational rookie in net. The Specters also have a strong team, but their defense isn't in the same league as the Stampede's. If the Stampede can stick to their game and not let their nerves get to them, this Cup should be theirs for the taking. The Specters are going to have to really get after the Stampede early on in this series and try to get the momentum on their side." Task 1: Shooter McGavin definitely had a better year than last year. Last year he scored 18 goals and 31 points and was a minus 3 rating. This season, McGavin bumped up to 21 goals and 38 points as the driving force on the 2nd line. The most exciting stat was the amount of GWG he scored, as last year he only had 2, but Shooter was clutch and scored 6 GWG this season, which was a big reason why the Dragons snuck into the playoffs. With all that said, Shooter would like to score 25 goals and 45 points, and maybe with more puck luck he can hit those totals, as he was 3rd in the league in shots with 246, and a 10% (rounded up) shooting percentage would net him 25 goals. Shooter has never been a hitter, only gathering 18 hits this past season, but a more aggressive playing style might help on the forecheck, so an improvement in the physical play could lead to more chances and scoring, as well as just wearing down the other team.
Task 3: (Written, up to 5 TPE) Pick up to 5 challenge cup related topics to write about! Each topic is worth '1' TPE. Each answer must be 50 words or more. 5. You have been asked by the league to choose a destination for next seasons all star game and its between New Orleans and Buffalo, which city did you decide should get this important league event and why? I would go for New Orleans, as it is a great way to get the new fans involved in the league and really cement New Orleans as a hockey city. In addition, New Orleans is a party city (Mardi Gras!) , so the crowd is used to having fun parties and the best live entertainment, so this is right up their alley and should see an unbelievable turnout. Task 5: The New Orleans Specters are a new team with a supposed unique identity. Well, Shooter went to check up on rumours that they have been stealing other team’s rituals. He looked into the locker room and immediately saw that those rumours were true. Joe Kurczewski (JKortesi81) and Roman Augustus (TheDangaZone) were sacrificing a cheesy, saucy parm sandwich to the Sandwich and hockey gods, as they passed the sandwich around the fire, each taking a bite before putting it into the fire to appease the gods. This was a huge shock to McGavin, as that tradition has been with Calgary for years, and these two ex-Dragons took it to their new team. Additionally, McGavin saw Vasily Horvat (slowpoke) strangling a couple chickens…which made Shooter laugh, since it was his ritual to choke the chicken before a game, but this was a misunderstanding of that ritual. Shooter reported what he saw to his Esa, as the Dragons GM must know about being ripped off. HO has been contacted, and it seems the Specters will no longer be allowed animals in their lockerroom, and are banned from having any sandwiches before a game…a huge price to pay, but we’ll see if it’s worth it. @JKortesi81 @thedangazone @Slowpoke Task 9: (Written, 3 TPE) You have been asked to spend a few minutes on air with the series commentators during the game 1 preshow! During that segment they ask you to do a full break down on the series... in 150 words or more tell them who you believe is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why.. as well as your thoughts on what each team needs to do or not do to win the challenge cup. Buffalo has to be the favorite, as they finished the season on top of the very competitive Eastern Conference and are the #1 seed in the SHL. They finished with 172 goals (Tied for 3rd in the league) and only allowed 139 (2nd best in the league) for a league best +33 Goal differential. Additionally, the Stampede finished top 3 in Shots for and shots against, as their solid two way, puck possession game leaves them in control most of the time, and they draw penalties which leads to the 2nd best powerplay in the league. The Stampede are led by arguably the most dominant player in the SHL, Viktor Marius, who does it all. Viktor scores (4th with 28 goals), sets up teammates (31 assists), and cranks out brutal hits often, as he racked up a league leading 221 hits. With that said, the Specters are a solid team too, and can put up a fight. They will need to rely on their league best penalty kill and stingy defense to keep a dominant Buffalo offense at bay. Aleister Cain may be the X-factor in this series, as he had the best GAA, 3rd in Save percentage, four shutouts, and a knack for making key saves at the right time. Task 13: This is an historic finals as both franchises come in with some amazing storylines to boast! Write a TV ad for a "History Will Be Made" script and in 150 words or more add the details and circumstance that warrant either or both teams for this television ad. details could include a memory from there team's history, whether recent or past, it is up to you. (Announcement of team) "The SHL has expanded to New Orleans!!!"... (showing the ice with players and fans celebrating) "and time expires, the New Orleans Specters have clinched a playoff spot and will be heading to the SHL playoffs!!!"... (around the rink, showing fans celebrating outside after the division clinching game) "The New Orleans Specters have won their division in just their first season. How far will this Cinderella team go?" (game 6 of series with the Panthers, after being blown out 6-2 and failing to close the series) "The Panthers have won two straight games, and it seems like the first year magic is gone. Is this too much for the new team? (game 7 of series with Panthers) "Kurczewski flying down the wing, he spots Paquette...with the shot!!!! stopped by Marmeladov, rebound...SCORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For most players season 46 is over and you have had a bit of time to reflect on your season. Talk to us about how you did.. what were some of your players best and worst moments? what were your overall numbers? did you meet your individual goals? what areas in your game were you happy with and what areas fell short? Must be 150 words or more. Kit smeb was awful for the majority of season fourty six. He was expected to be one of the top players and goal scorers in the smjhl this season and yet he came out of the gate slower than a snail. In the end he had some decent stats, but true falcons fans know that this was truly a disappointing season for the small smeb. He scored a good amount of goals and assisted on a handful as well, but with no hat tricks and way too many penalty minutes many fans wondered where all the hype went for kit smeb. Playoffs were a different story, smeb turned it on and turned it up for playoffs and the fans were excited to see what they had been promised for months. GOALS. He scored many times but unfortunately it wasnt enough to get them out of the second round. Though a dominating series win over vancouver id say is a win on the season. Code: Task 3: (Written, up to 5 TPE) Pick up to 5 challenge cup related topics to write about! Each topic is worth '1' TPE. Each answer must be 50 words or more. 1. Between Buffalo's (WannabeFinn, Tomen) and New Orleans (JKortesi81, TheDangaZone) which set of GM's have the tactical/managerial advantage in this series and why? I think this one is a tough choice. On one hand WannabeFinn and Tomen have years more experience general managing SHL teams than the new orleans management team. But on the other hand, Buffalo hasn't found any success during those years whatsoever. Another point is that Joe and TDZ have literal 0 shl gm experience between the two of them. Sure they've learned in other ways but can you really know how to build a cup winning team without the experience? It will be interesting to see which team prevails. 2. Between Cedric Robinson and Aleister Cain which goalie would you say had the more impressive run towards this championship series, and why? Robinson has had the more impresive career all together I think. His play this season just shows how a goalie can make all the difference with a team. Dropping fourfour jr. and using robinson as the main backstop was one of the best moves buffalo has ever made. It brought them to a challenge cup. Not to take anything away from cain, hes been great. But robinson turned a terrible team into a cup winning one. 4. Choose 1 young player from each team (either on their roster or a prospect of theirs) who you believe will be there teams next important player and why? *tag that player* I think Hippo Passamus is the next face of the franchise for Buffalo. A great young forward mind, his offensive and defensive talents are unmatched at his age. He reminds this analyst of another buffalo great in viktor vorkampfer. Except passamus will actually do something with his career. I fully expect passamus to win multiple challenge cups and individual awards during his career, and from what it sounds like, all that will be done in the green and gold for the buffalo stampede. @Mayuu 5. You have been asked by the league to choose a destination for next seasons all star game and its between New Orleans and Buffalo, which city did you decide should get this important league event and why? Buffalo easily. Buffalo has gone through a lot of hardships in this league yet their fans have stuck with the team through and through. It took buffalo like 20 seasons or something to finally make ti to a challenge cup, and the fans didnt once give up on this team. There were never talks of relocation, and finally it has all paid off. But the fans of buffalo deserve more than just one challenge cup run, lets have the league give them some recognition. The favorite of this series is a tough choice. You could argue that both of these teams are both favorites and underdogs. The stampede havent found any success in the post season up until this point, and well the specters have never had a chance in the post season at all, although they have many post season veterans. I would say that the Spectres are the easy favorite in this competition purely because they have so many players who have played a significant amount of games in the postseason. Dont count out the Stampede though, a franchise that has been hungry for post-season success for a long time now, I wouldnt be surprised to see them come out of the gate swinging and knock down the expansion team specters. They have been developing their chemistry for a long time and got rid of locker room cancers like viktor vorkampfer so we'll see. Task 1:
The scoring streak was obviously his best moment, but it's something that Nova just had to do because of the teams situation. We had 350 tpe guys slotted around the line up for half the season especially on defense, inactives and things like that. So I think the streak just started happening, and now it's like something to talk about. But it's not something that Nova really focused on. That's something he had to do in order to give the Chiefs a chance to win games. The criticism would be one of the worst moments of his season. ( other than missing finals again) It's hard not to hear it.. You have that weekly funtime.. You have people crying about it. Nova tries his best to block that out, but it's kind of hard, you know? Especially when it's coming from SHL players you're supposed to have "mutual" respect for. So it makes it more difficult, but obviously everybody's entitled to their own opinion. Task 3: 1. I believe buffalo definitely has the advantage in management and tactically. Their GMs are experienced and have learned from their mistakes where Nola management are in their first season. Buffalo also has a deeper team and more firepower even though NOLA is stacked, they still aren't as well rounded as their matchup. 2. Cedric Robinson definitely looks more impressive in the playoffs. He put up better numbers than Cain even though he has less TPE. He's also a rookie according to the index so not many people were expecting him to be the better goalie so far. He had big shoes to fill and has delivered impressively. 5. I'd definitely choose New Orleans to host the allstar game, if we ever have one. The league needs to promote itself more in the dirty south where hockey is not that popular. This would be the best way to draw out a crowd of people who aren't fans and mix up with the diehard ones to gain interest. 6. Alexis Metzler - After such a long time of dedication, loyalty and hard work, this elite defenseman finally gets to compete in the highest level of hockey. He'll be hard to contain because of his talent level and drive. Tatu Makela - A breakthrough player this season who has shown everyone what he can do. He's one of the biggest reasons for Buffalo's elite two way game. Joe Kurczewski - He has been there and done that. He still one if the SHL's top talent and Specters best player and leader. Task 5: It was traumatic all I could say. As I was leaving the premises after the post game show of game 1, I accidentally opened the wrong door in the tunnel, which I thought was the exit. It was not. The only exit that was there were buttholes. I had walked onto a lockerroom full of naked Specters doing what looked like an orgy ritual. 18 dudes with nothing on but skates and pouring drinks into each other's jockstraps and passing them around while doing the unthinkable. They all seemed to be enjoying each other with the captain leading the "charge". No one deserves to witness what I saw and have that scarred into their mind forever. I wanted to retire, wanted to give up. I just didn't know what to believe anymore after seeing this post game party. I am embarresed that my team actually got eliminated to a circus squad. I just didn't know NOLA got down like that. Task 9: I think the Buffalo Stampede proved themselves the best of the Eastern Conference during the regular season, dropping 64 points and ending up top seed - and they did it in style, finishing first in league scoring differential with a +33. With how the Stampede sailed through the season, expectations are understandably high heading into the S46 Challenge Cup series. However, it will not be easy with the newly stacked New Orleans Specters standing in the way of Stampede's hopes and dreams. The Specs ended the regular season with a league's best 4 game winning streak, surged through two gelled teams that could easily have beat them to the finals if it wasn't for their completely stacked and unfair expansion roster. It should be a close and epic matchup in my opinion, and that's why there are 7 games to decide. The Specters will be out to show that they're not just content to make their first appearance in their first season, while the Stampede will have to deal with all the pressure of being a No. 1 seed and the favorites by controlling the pace of this series. The Specters wouldn't want to be called the underdogs here but it's their first season and theyll need to contain Buffalo's high powered offense and two way game. Task 14: PM'd

Talk to us about how you did.. what were some of your players best and worst moments? what were your overall numbers? did you meet your individual goals? what areas in your game were you happy with and what areas fell short? Must be 150 words or more. -For Johannes Leitner and the Wolfpack there were many ups and downs in Season 46, and unfortunately more downs than ups for the young team in New England. Leitner, in his second season as full time starter was actually not awful, having one of the top save percentage marks in the SHL. Despite this, it was hard for Leitner to stick out more as the Wolfpack were among the leaders in shots against and Leitner had one of the highest shots against average amongst all goalies in the league. He has a high goals against average due to this and his save percentage suggests that less shots from opposing teams would mean less goals. As the defense improves around Leitner, the young Austrian will have a chance to be a top goalie in the SHL in many statistical categories and reach some of the milestones besides just games started. Look for the Pack to continue to improve and hopefully with that, Leitner can be a big part of why the New England Wolfpack are hoisting the cup in the near, not so distant future. I think it is a pretty even matchup but if I remember correctly, the Buffalo GM's have been doing it for a longer time where as the New Orleans team is new so the GMs might not have as much experience. I am not 100% sure cause I never know things outside of my team but that is my guess. As we saw, Buffalo were the ones to win so I must be right at least somewhat but I think the teams and the GMs were pretty evenly matched here. I lean towards the more known experience, however. 2. Between Cedric Robinson and Aleister Cain which goalie would you say had the more impressive run towards this championship series, and why? I have to say Aleister Cain and there is a big reason why. Usually, in the SMJHL, when I went up against Cain in both the regular season and the playoffs, I got the better of him. So him having a successful run in the SHL is more impressive because he is doing well when he could not even beat out Leitner though I believe the year we beat him, Leitner was the playoff MVP, so not many could. Robinson is a beast, but it is more expected. 5. You have been asked by the league to choose a destination for next seasons all star game and its between New Orleans and Buffalo, which city did you decide should get this important league event and why? New Orleans because it is funner and the food is better. Who doesn't like Cajun food and while Buffalo wings are really good, you don't want to eat just that every night. Buffalo is not a very fun city, and though I have never been, never have had a desire to while I do have a desire to travel to New Orleans one day. Here is the one reason I would choose Buffalo though, it is actually a hockey city. New Orleans could not support a hockey team in my opinion. So....I change my mind and say Buffalo due to it being more hockey centric. 6. Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why? The men in the stripes are the most dangerous players on the ice because I think both teams are very evenly matched. This is a series that could come down to who gets more penalty calls or some questionable offsides calls. If a star player has some unfortunate hooking calls and has to go in the box for 2 minutes a few times in the series and give the opposing team a powerplay, it will be what determines the outcome, in my opinion. The men in stripes will be the most dangerous men on the ice, even with them changing each game! 7. Who has been there teams surprise player/unsung hero in the post season and why?..must include at least 1 stat to back up claim. My choice on unsung hero is Buffalo goaltender Cedric Robinson because he has been an absolute monster in the playoffs. Only with 4 losses and one of the higher save percentages at .906, the young Robinson is the choice here because he is just that, young. I remember facing Robinson in the SMJHL and while he was a beast there, his team never usually amounted to much and now, in the SHL, he is helping lead his team to victories with great saves in net. Good job Cedric. Task 5: (Written, 3 TPE) Ooof, you happened to walk into one of the challenge cup teams locker room and witnessed a truly shocking visual which left you stunned! Sacrificing goats and voodoo dolls of Buffalo players, the Spectres are truly spooky here as they are trying to use demonic forces to influence the series against the Stampede. Maybe that is how they got to this point in the SHL playoffs but who knows!? The SHL will need to investigate this and determine whether any wrongdoing was commenced since voodoo is not technically illegal, though the sacrificing of the goat may be something to look into further and might get a lot of backlash from the PETA crew. Voodoo dolls are not something that has been proven to be any more than a myth so they could not get in trouble for that, but maybe having a doll in the likeness of the Buffalo players and coaches might have some copyright infringement or something of the sort. Task 1. With the first season for Aleksi O'Koivu-Volkova in the books, Montreal has many years ahead of them yet with the young Russian between the pipes. With the starts piled on for the rookie, Aleksi finished in the Top 3 statistically across all goaltending categories, while leading the league in total minutes played as the Militia found extra frames quite frequently.
Young into the season, Montreal found themselves up 2-0 over Detroit as Aleksi found himself in the midst of his first career shutout. Needing only to make 17 saves it was a bit of a lax achievement, but it was still an achievement for the young man. Games Played: 44 Win: 22 Loss: 16 OTL: 5 GAA: 2.53 SV%: .896 Shutouts: 4 While there is ample progress to be made... Emotionally for the season, the hardest loss to take is always the last. Losing against Kelowna was a rough one, but just gotta keep your head up and moving forward. Task 3: 1. Between Buffalo's (WannabeFinn, Tomen) and New Orleans (JKortesi81, TheDangaZone) which set of GM's have the tactical/managerial advantage in this series and why? At the end of the day, I don't even think it came down to who had the biggest advantage coaching wise. Both teams were in the final for a reason. J Kor has proven himself a master strategizer, while Tomen has his diligence towards simply making solid lines. Both are amazing in their own right, but I think the real advantage was mainly the depth of Buffalo. They are lean... mean... and are going to be good for some time. 2. Between Cedric Robinson and Aleister Cain which goalie would you say had the more impressive run towards this championship series, and why? I think Aleister Cain has been standing on his head. Aside from killing it, the young netminder comes in with little experience and even less support. Robinson, successful in his own regard, obviously has more of a supporting cast in what is perhaps one of the deepest blue lines the league has seen since Calgary. 3. Between both rosters, create an all Challenge Cup starting lineup! (D, D, F, F, F, G) and in 50 words or more explain alittle about your selections. Roman Augustus, Alexis Metzler, Aleister Cain, Viktor Marius, Dermott Lavalle and Richard Physt. This squad has youth... it has experience... and is balanced across the board. I would put this up against anyone from the rest of the league. While the likes of Makela were left off, I think that is the only possible question mark. 4. Choose 1 young player from each team (either on their roster or a prospect of theirs) who you believe will be there teams next important player and why? Aleister Cain - @SlashACM He is the franchise goaltender for seasons to come. He single handedly could come in and steal a series. That is what you expect of a veteran, not you youth. Alexander Selich - @Tomen What else needs to be said. He's a machine that lost steam due to uncontrollable circumstances his first go around. Alexander is a legend in the making. 5. You have been asked by the league to choose a destination for next seasons all star game and its between New Orleans and Buffalo, which city did you decide should get this important league event and why? Oh god... I hate snow. 100% New Orleans. Alcohol permitted 24/7 and the streets are lined with the kind of garbage the SHL will bring to town. Buffalo, fuck... way too much snow and we don't have time for that city nor the quaint locale. Imagine people like Kevin Hamilton having a bitch fit nightly about bars closing at 2 a.m. even though he bought a cosmo at 1:58. Task 14: Sent. ![]() ![]() Registered Posting Freak

I was happy with my performance with Ben Dover, I was able to get back to 10 goals and 40 points this season which has been one of my goals every season as of late. I also scored my 200th career goal and became the 3rd highest goal scorer defender of all-time, which really is a big moment for me. I am 10 goals away as of right now from being the highest scoring defender of all time in goals, and I still plan on playing more seasons other than next season. I am very happy with my progress with my player and I still feel like I have a couple of seasons left in the tanks for sure to play at a highly competitive level and try to maybe go for some more records. It sucks I wasn't able to win a Stevens or a challenge cup yet but those are two things that I really want to do by the end of my career. 166 words Code: Task 3: (Written, up to 5 TPE) Pick up to 5 challenge cup related topics to write about! Each topic is worth '1' TPE. Each answer must be 50 words or more. 1. Between Buffalo's (WannabeFinn, Tomen) and New Orleans (JKortesi81, TheDangaZone) which set of GM's have the tactical/managerial advantage in this series and why? I feel Buffalo has better depth, they both have great rosters but I feel the depth in Buffalo really is stronger than New Orleans also both managers have beenining managing their team for awhile and this is the first season for joe and TDZ which could result in some inexperience mistakes 50 words Code: Task 5: (Written, 3 TPE) Ooof, you happened to walk into one of the challenge cup teams locker room and witnessed a truly shocking visual which left you stunned! You closed your eyes and quickly left the premises... word has gotten out that something went down in the LR but the details are murky.. HO is investigating the matter and asking you 'the eye witness' to explain what happened! Must be 150 words or more. *tag anyone involved* @Tomen being a nazi commie is really shocking and should be something that HO should suspend him for being one. I feel like a permaban is in order for the actions that I saw tomen do in the locker room, they are really unspeakable things that no man should see or talk about it, i can not describe the acts that he did because it was so mind-blowing awful. @Tomen is just an awful person and i feel like HO should ban him long time ago for the stuff he has done, I dont know what stuff, but i feel like he should get the ban a hammer to the face. Him being german and russian at the same time, is pretty unspeakable and HO should ban him for that, wait am I being racist here. well fuck, sorry i guess im just big idiot and this accusation should not get any real consideration. 154 words Code: Task 9: (Written, 3 TPE) You have been asked to spend a few minutes on air with the series commentators during the game 1 preshow! During that segment they ask you to do a full break down on the series... in 150 words or more tell them who you believe is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why.. as well as your thoughts on what each team needs to do or not do to win the challenge cup. I feel like Buffalo is the favorite in this series as they just come off and presidents trophy win and New Orleans are major underdogs because this is the first season in the SHL and honestly, they haven't been together as a team as long as buffalo has had. Buffalo has a lot of guys who has spent 5+ seasons in Buffalo, who has played in a lot of battles, and are ready for the biggest series of their lifes, they know that this opportunity to win a challenge cup is huge and might be their only shot at it as they have played in a lot fo series, and lost because of sths beign so random, so you better capitalize when u r in the finals and they are one of the teams in the league right now that know its tough to get to the finals in todays shl and should be happy just to play and know it could be their only shot. 166 words Code: Task 11: (Written, 3 TPE) There will be many SMJHL players watching this Challenge Cup series and dreaming of the day that they are involved in the SHL's biggest staged event. but first things first,, you have to make an SHL teams 20 man roster. Talk about where your player is at within your SHL organization, who are the prospects that you'll be competing with for a roster spot? when do you hope to make the big clubs roster and what are your individual expectations in that rookie season? Must be 150 words or more. Code: Task 13: (Written, 3 TPE) This is an historic finals as both franchises come in with some amazing storylines to boast! Write a TV ad for a "History Will Be Made" script and in 150 words or more add the details and circumstance that warrant either or both teams for this television ad. details could include a memory from there team's history, whether recent or past, it is up to you. History will be made, with either victory in this years finals as both teams have yet to win a challenge cup and will become the first expansion team from the last 2 expansion drafts to win a challenge cup. Portland had their shot before but know with two expansion teams in the finals it could be a massive year for both teams. Will it be buffalo or will it be New Orleans, it is hard to say right now but an new team will hoist the challenge cup at the end of the series and honestly teh league should be happy about the parity in this league now, no more dynasties like NEW or Calgary or anything like that anyone realistically could win a challenge cup. The expansion drafts have equalled the talent in the SHL and the league should be happy that they have 2 expansion teams in the finals right now. The league has been very successful lately. 160 words Code: TASK 14: done |
