chief keef is... idk. some of my friends like him because his music goes hard as shit but I agree that he really isn't that talented
![]() Administrators Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Dion.OvOxO@May 29 2013, 02:58 PM I read somewhere that Chief Keef isn't able to touch his money till he's 18. not sure if that's true or not but it was a pretty legit website iirc. o and I love 2 Chainz <3 ![]() Registered S7, S19, S23 Challenge Cup Champion Quote:Originally posted by Dyl@May 29 2013, 04:33 PMBoth suck. Kendrick Lamar and Joey Bada$$ are the only reason why I think hip hop can be saved. ![]() Registered S7, S22 Challenge Cup Champion Quote:Originally posted by Dion.OvOxO@May 29 2013, 06:40 PM This isn't youtube, there's other talent. ![]() Kendrick and Joey Bada$$ (despite the latter being annoying as hell on twitter) are both very good, but Kid Cudi, Schoolboy Q, Pusha T, J. Cole, and of course Kanye are just a few examples of guys releasing great music this year. ![]() Registered S7, S19, S23 Challenge Cup Champion
Only Trap rapper I legit like is Waka Flocka. His songs are hype and he can actually speak English. Plus he is a really nice guy from what people told me and seen.
Also give Big Sean some love. ![]() Administrators Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Dion.OvOxO@May 29 2013, 05:40 PM where did I say that they were good lol ![]() Administrators Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Spangle@May 29 2013, 06:12 PM Meek Mill yo. Have you heard Levels off DC3? I kinda like it. ![]() Registered S7, S22 Challenge Cup Champion Quote:Originally posted by Dyl@May 29 2013, 09:25 PM Eh, not my favorite Meek song at all. Still looking forward to DC3, though. ![]() Administrators Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by Spangle@May 29 2013, 08:28 PM oh for sure. nothing special, thought it was decent though. ![]() Banned Most Hated
and how am I a hipster? I just said Kanye's early work, mainly his production, is good.
I think you guys are just Kanye stans, which is understandable... but pls, don't tell me a man who wears a skirt, is one of the best in RAP. He's grossly overrated, especially after 808s and "MBDTF". He's definitely more pop music than anything close to rap/hip hop at this point, hence why I don't fuck with him anymore. ![]() Administrators Posting Freak Quote:Originally posted by gorlab@May 30 2013, 12:26 AM well why does what he wear matter at all? Skirts and just how he dresses in general means absolutely nothing about his music. ![]() Registered Merica's Lover Quote:Originally posted by Dyl@May 30 2013, 01:40 AMExactly lol and Mbdtf is grimy as fuck, how is it pop at all? Its grimy and probably. The best produced hip hop album in a decade. And what do you mean after mbdtf? Since then hes done two collaboration albums neither of which was poppy. Axl Rose has worn a skirt, hes also worn just his underwear with work boots, does that make him any worse of a singer? Fuck no. If youre using style and what someone wears as a way of judging how good a rapper or artist is you're grasping at straws that aren't there ![]() Registered Merica's Lover ![]() Registered S1, S3, S4, S6, S13, S19 and S28 Challenge Cup Champion
Kanye West is my favorite artist but I am able to know when he makes bad music. For instance, 808s and Graduation were both bad albums. MBDTF is has been critically reviewed as one of the best rap albums ever and a shit ton of hip hop heads say it is one of the best albums.
You just sound like a Kanye hater. I listen to all hip hop, but you just have to know when something is good, it is good. ![]() |
