I think that for Joans, his season wouldn't be seen as terrible to the outside eye but to him, I think he would be overall disappointed with his season. Many would say that on a new team and under different systems, the season Joans had would be considered very acceptable. 10 goals and 22 assists, not bad. But with all Joans has accomplished in his career up to this point, he would have expected more out of himself. He had the worst +/- on the team by far, definitely hurting them defensively in someway, perhaps while chasing the offence as he knows, he is creeping up on the record of all time points by a defenceman. He managed to break the record for most goals all time by a defencemen, which was another positive thing that happened. BUt he would have wanted to produce more and give up less at the same time like he usually has in his career. Being balanced overall has to be a goal for next season.
The season for the Detroit Falcons went pretty ok all things considered. We lost a lot of production to callups and age-out but we still managed to have a strong offense and a decent goaltending and defense situation. Unfortunately, this meant that we slid down the standings a bit; however, we still finished at a respectable 6th in the minors. We won our first round series in a rematch with Quebec City but lost pretty convincingly in the next round. I slipped a bit from my previous 2 years but I set some milestones that were pretty cool. I now am the all-time wins leader for goalies in the SMJHL which is obviously a great achievement and I finish my juniors career with basically every Detroit goaltending record. I held down the fort well during the season but during the playoffs everything fell apart, especially in the second round. I’m hoping for next season as I enter the majors probably and hopefully that my banked TPE will make an impact and that I can help the Monarchs win some games.

This has been the seventy ith season of the simulation hockey league that we have just wrapped up. I suppose we have not wrapped it up just quite yet as the playoffs are still in force but for me it has been wrapped up since the day the season started. I could not tell you how many points I had, how I did in fantasy, if my team made the playoffs, literally nothing. Did not watch a single sim live, did not look at the results of any sims after, just existed and updated and bought training and continued to max earn without a care in the world. Reflecting back, after taking a look at my points I thought I did decently well for a player of my age, and for someone who less less TPE than people who are called up. I still have at least another season in me, even though I want to bad to make it to 30 seasons, I do not know if I can last that long.
Written Task: Tell me about how your season went. Did you exceed expectations? Is regression starting to bite? Did you set a new career high? Did your team do better or worse? How did you factor there? What are your hopes for the playoffs - this year or next? (150+ words)
Well, as of right now we are in the conference finals for the fifth straight year, so I have to say as a team this year has been a success considering our window is closed if you ask most of the league. As a player I had my best season ever. I am so proud of the guys in this room, we have come together and are all pulling as one. As far as regression goes, it can go fly a kite (trying to keep my language clean here haha). I am still in the early stages of it but I still hate it. I am going to lose it when I get deep into regression considering how hard I have worked to be one of the highest earners in my class. Just going to watch it all disappear in this thievery you all call regression. Just kidding, I get it, have to cap out at some point but for now I am fighting against it and still putting up numbers. We are Argos! We will not be beaten!!!!

S61 Four Star Cup - Game-Winning Goal in the clinching Game 4
Player Prompt: Written Task
Boy this one is topical. I'll likely have more to say about the season in a few days when everything settles out. Obviously it was a disappointment. The game 7 loss to New England afetr the rally and the potential comeback really stung. Montreal has been battling through the Eastern Conference with gusto, but little success. Three strong seasons and playoff runs in a row, they're just on the cusp, and its been painful, and doesn't look to be getting any easier. It was especially hard as Roddy B put up nearly a PPG pace this post-season, played his 50th post-season game with the Patriotes, and playing his 500th game this season. Roddys not getting any younger, and the elusive Cup seems further away than ever. It's a dark few days not, and things are very fresh. Nothing to do now but come back stronger than ever next season, and got the job done this time.
Written Task: It's done. Your season is over, and with it your conflict with the staffer you've been dealing with all season. How did it end? Did he get fired as the scapegoat to appease the fans? Has the situation reduced to a simmer but will linger on for the future? Or did you make friends after all? (150+ words)
To Jølñgüštrâädæviñçh DuBølk, the feud between him and general manager Gunnar Söderberg ended in a blaze of glory. To everyone else, it ended about as pathetically as they expected. To recap, Gunnar Söderberg decided it would be funny to provide an iced tea to Jølñgüštrâädæviñçh DuBølk... without any ice. He thought wrong, as DuBølk has proceeded to damage team property and gone on long media rants against the general manager. To settle it once and for all, DuBølk asked Söderberg to a match of greco roman wrestling, because of course he did. On the day, he forced every player and their family to be present, lest they want to wrestle him. To DuBølk, the end result was not meant to be measured as a win or loss, but rather a statement that he will fight for what he believes is right. Sure, Söderberg "won," due to cheating (not because DuBølk had a losers mentality), but is that what really matters?
Hamilton had a much improved season from last season and we took a big step forward in becoming a Challenge Cup contender, we were threats to Montreal in the playoffs, and for me individually, I played better defensively and I am hoping to work on my offense for next season. I was used as a defensive shutdown defender but it's time for me to get better offensively. I feel like next season we have hopes to win a playoff round and start getting deep in the playoffs in the foreseeable future, we haven't won a playoff run in a while. I am still a couple of seasons away from regression and I am not worried about that anytime soon. We should be able to win a couple of cups before I regress and I am not worried about regression right now. I just want to get better season to season. I know my stats didn't get better for the most part.
Matiss had a really good season this year which was to be expected after leading Newfoundland in points and assists last season. This season Matiss was second on the team in points with 75 and led the team in goals with 45. The 45 goals posted this year was a career high and also set the single-season goal record for Newfoundland, beating the previous record of 43. Matiss also had a positive plus minus for the first time in his career. As for Newfoundland as a team this season, we finished at number three overall in the league, jumping up two spots from finishing fifth last season. Now looking at the playoffs, our goal is always to win the championship and that’s what we will be working on doing. At this time in the playoffs, we have a semifinal match up against Nevada who gave us a tough time during the year. Hopefully now during the playoffs we can turn it around to take them down and advance to the championship game where we would take on the winner of Yukon and Maine. Since this is the last season with Newfoundland, Matiss is hoping to finish off his career with a championship.

Season went pretty solid for Sean Davies. He set career highs in all his major stats meaning he must have played well. Some naysayers may say that that's just semantics and of course he set career highs since he was a rookie. But that's neither here or there. All things considered, it was a solid season defensively for Davies. Not a ton of takeaways, but he blocked a lot of shots. Could have used his body more, but he'll work on that. Offensively he's no sniper only scoring 1 goal on the season. He also only had 20 assists to go with his 14 giveaways, so he was definitely a little sloppy with the puck. Hopefully in the offseason he cleans that up and at the very least can be more responsible with the puck even if he's not actively scoring points. All in all he finished +17 on the year, so can't really complain. Hopefully next season is even better!

Ricky Koivu's season was very good! He is very satisfied with how much he improved compared to season sixty nine. After scoring a measly 10 goals last season in the SHL last season, Ricky went insane in comparison in the present season, netting 30 goals. On top of that, he scored 89 points, when he only managed 54 in the prior season. Considering how young his career is right now, Koivu has taken a crazy step forward with his breakout season. After an average and underwhelming start to his time in the SHL after going second overall in S65, Koivu is finally showing why he went so high. He played most of his career as a winger, which perhaps was not the right fit for him, but his potential was really unlocked when coach Max Brannagan started playing him in the middle at center. On top of this, Koivu showed that he had some massive power play prowess, as he earned minutes on the top unit and made good use of them. Overall, it was a very successful season for Ricky where he really began to establish himself as a premium player in the league. (196 words)

I think Raiya was pretty solid during the season and hit the nail right on the head for everyone's expectations even my own, I wanted to hit the score sheet and kept up with the big dogs on both ends of the ice, somehow became somebody you could rely on defense when in the minors I suffered and even made the playoffs in my first season after joining a team that hasn't been able to over the seasons. Now with a new contract ready to be signed sealed and delivered I expect our team to be even better with new additions because of our draft picks and possibly free agents, I haven't missed much TPE myself and don't think much of our team has so it's all up from here.. Especially if our team adds another playmaker to the roster to help out with my nasty shots flying towards the net.
