option 1:
Of course Elly will go, as she wants to test her skills in other sports and see what other leagues have to offer in terms of skill, as well as showing what hockey players are capable of off the ice as well!. Elly would do the worst at baseball related tasks, although she can run the field very fast, the ball might be a little too hard to catch in her teeth, and holding the bat will be very difficult. Soccer is something she would also excel at, as she can dribble and run up and down the field. She might even have a hidden talent for balancing it on her nose and bouncing the ball on her body. Hockey of course is her place to shine mostly as that is what she has trained for season after season, and football is kind of a middle ground. Elly would probably be able to catch and run the ball, and even be amazing at evasion, but she lacks the body type to pass it very far. Overall though she does possess so many natural advantages over human players minus those involving dexterity and she handles herself well and great enough to call herself an athlete.

Written Option 2:
Rocky Gislason has always loved the first game of the season. It is the start to your hockey life and the start of playing the sport you love. Rocky loved going to opening nights as a kid to see all the players and see the opening ceremonies. So it is only fitting that Rocky loves to make opening night extra special for the fans. Rocky will be out early in the day signing autographs, taking pics with fans, and just chatting with them. It gives Rocky a sense of why he loves to play the game still. It is also a little extra motivation for the game, and Rocky gives opening games like 150% every season. It sets the tone for the whole upcoming season. After the game is no different. Rocky stays extra long to sign as many autographs for the fans that hang out. He also gives out some gear to the young fans. Gloves, pucks, water bottles, team towels are big hits. Gislason loves the fan interaction as that is what drew him to the game so he always tries to give back.

Tony Soprano doesn’t hesitate—he’s in. This is his chance to prove hockey players are the best athletes around, even if it means going toe-to-toe with a quarterback who probably has his own ketchup brand, a baseball guy who hits balls into orbit, a soccer legend who’s practically worshipped, a basketball giant who could dunk on the moon, and an Olympic skier who’s so fast she might outrun time.
Tony dominates the hockey event (obviously) and holds his own in football, trucking through the other contestants like they owe him money. Soccer? Not bad—turns out Tony’s good at body-checking even when it’s technically “illegal.” But baseball? Disaster. He swings like he’s trying to kill a fly with a 2x4 and misses every pitch. By the end, he’s earned the nickname “The Gabagool Slugger.”
He doesn’t win, but he’s still the fan favorite—because who else brings gabagool as a victory snack?
Shadow Fenix does go to the show, as long as it doesn’t interfere with his hockey. Being from the Protoss world of Aiur, he doesn’t have much experience with non-hockey sports, so he’s definitely going to lose and not perform very well in the tournament. Despite that, he still would go because he has an interest in learning about these different games, and because it’s good publicity to go. If he plays his cards right, he could turn it into a media post and make some money. The other athletes involved would probably be some big names from other simulation sports leagues, but since I don’t follow any other simulated sports, I cannot name them directly. Upon learning about the different sports though, I think Shadow Fenix would struggle most with baseball since there really isn’t any contact. He can’t use his superior protoss muscles to push people out of the way like he does in hockey.
Worley goes and competes against current athletes and legends alike. Other people present include Shaq, Tim Tebow, Steven Strasburg, Daniel Ricciardo, Callum Wilson, and Johnny Bananas for some reason. Worley performs well in most of the other sports, throwing the third fastest pitch and even runs a 40 yard dash in a respectable time. He does the worst at, ironically, hockey. He struggles with skating drills and can't even hit any of his targets that are set up. In football, he manages to defeat Callum Wilson and Johnny Bananas and going into the final round, which is a go-kart race, he can still win the entire competition. Ricciardo was the favorite to win the race but little did he realize Lando Norris added weights to the back of his kart so he ends up going slower than everyone and losing. It looked like Worley would win on the last lap but Tim Tebow came through at the last minute. It was still a good time.
Hip Hurts is a pretty boring guy. That means he keeps any extra celebrations or flair to a minimum, so he will probably just skate out normally onto the ice during the first introductions of the season. That doesn't mean that he doesn't have anything planned for the fans though, but mostly just on the ice. He knows his role this season will be to be the stereotypical big, gritty defenseman, so he plans on making opening night a high energy event. He's not too offensively gifted, so he's going to look to run the other team over, fly around the ice blocking high danger shots, and maybe drop the gloves. He wants to get the crowd going from the second the puck is dropped, and carry that throughout all home games this season. He will of course still stay behind and sign every single autograph request after the game as well while covered in ice packs.
In Anchorage we have just a party for us players, the staff and also the fans. For us it is important to bring in fun and passion. So all around of our team is also bring that in. I really love to be here and with all this nice members also behind the scene. I will surely miss it if I get call up in the future. So much love for anyone is very rarely. If someone looking for a nice and calm place to have fun and bring in your passion, than the Anchorage Armada is the perfect team as fit for players, staff members, cheerleaders and all other positions. I believe anyone else on the team will also say the same things about Anchorage. I was talking with the Head GM and Co GM and I told them that I will be forever being proud to be a part of this nice team. We also talked about future changes in the opening night. Actually we wear boats with our numbers and skate around on the ice and send give aways to the fans. Also to the upper seats. I was bringing in ideas like Laser Show, Fire Show or many other options during this small opener ceremony. We are always very close about the future because they are very happy to have youth in leadership role to bring up future things they are already possible but werent 10 years ago.

The Montreal Patriotes go all out for season openers. It's an event worth going for. People spend top dollars to buy tickets that get even more expensive than Era tours tickets. To be able to make your friends jealous because you managed to find a ticket is something people look for. Every season opener goes viral on social media. Tickets are only sold in person to avoid the gigantic fees and scalpers, so people line up and wait at least 4 days in advance. They set up tents and grills to keep their spot in the line to be the lucky few to buy tickets. People fly from all over the world to be able to experience a season opener in Montreal. The rich and famous descend upon the city as if it was the most important UFC match in the history of the sport. What do all these people get out of it you may ask? Not much, it's just the first game of the season and fans crave for hockey after a long summer I guess. Oh and it's the only game of the season where booze is free.

#1: Rasmus goes to be on the game show because he loves a good competition and doesn't particularly mind being on TV (I mean, he does it pretty much for a living). He's not particularly worried about embarrassing himself as he was quite active as a kid, playing many different sports before finally focusing in on hockey so this'll be a good time to kind of brush up on those old skills and maybe show off a bit. If there's one sport where he might struggle a bit, it'd be soccer. You wouldn't think so given that he grew up in Europe and Sweden has a growing presence in footy, but he was more of a hand eye than foot eye coordination kind of guy and it just never really came together. He wasn't a half bad goalie though for his school team, so as long as that position's open for his team then he might just be okay.
2: Having grown up a fan of the game, Jefferson knows just how special it feels to be at opening night for your home team. It's a big deal, getting tickets is tough, traffic is a bitch, it's all a massive hassle but the atmosphere and buzz around it all makes it worth it, and that's why Jefferson tries to do what he can for the fans each opening night, too. If they went to all the trouble to show up for him, he's gonna show up for them too. Jefferson is there early signing autographs, handing out pucks and chatting with fans up until it's time to get ready for the game, where of course he tries his best to bring home the W for that cherry on the opening day sundae. Afterwards it's back to fan interaction, more autographs, selfies, high fives, etc. Just trying to make it a memorable night for everybody there, especially the young fans who one day might be skating in the SHL themselves.
Hope opening night is a special night for every franchise in the SHL. It is the night many players make their debut in front of the hometown crowd and where familiar faces cheer on the team legends. Gordon-William Gibbles learned from his father that the fans are the reason they get to live their dreams playing hockey and to never take that for granted. Because of this, he makes sure to have the team host an event on opening night where he will take pictures with any fan after the game. Gibbles is happy to have support from the Minnesota faithful and knows that he has to prove that he is worth the contract. He also likes to plan events every month to visit fans who are sick in nearby hospitals to take time and make their days brighter. Gibbles himself had a lengthy stay during his childhood during a bout of noro virus and he wouldn't forget his father's teammates showing up to cheer on his recovery.
Jiggle E Puff has been selected as a representative of the simulation hockey league in "The Greatest Show on Earth"! What an honor for a pokemon turned hockey player! Jiggle E Puff is flattered and of course accepts this fantastic opportunity to feed his ego and show the world what he can do! It is a little known fact, but jiggle e. puff also fights in an underground fighting league called "Super Smash Brothers" and he knows how to fight dirty as a result. Jiggle will do whatever it takes to make a good showing and to show the world that the simulation hockey league is full of the best athletes in the world! Jiggle will obviously dominate in any competitions involving hockey, singing, and dancing. After all, he is the only hockey playing pop star in the world! He hopes that his fighting skills can bridge the gap between the rest of the competition and him in terms of all other skills

Anna Skovgaard loves the pageantry of opening night. The Calgary Dragons always go all out on opening night, they roll out the red carpet in front of the stadium where the players walk into the stadium to the cheering of thousands of fans, and the players love to see who can come up with the most over the top outfit. It's been an incredibly popular tradition with the players, Anna was a little shy about it in her rookie season, but is going all out for this season. After the opening walk, the in arena entertainment team put a ton of effort into a crazy pyrotechnics and lights show to hype up the crowd before the player introductions. Calgary played their home opener versus the New Orleans Spectres, and the Dragons did not disappoint, winning 5-2. Anna scored the fifth goal of the night, capping off an exciting home opener and hopefully previewing an exciting season to come.
