Cheechoo was, at best, a `55 points player, THAT is the point. His 93 points were a fluke, brought on by the Joe Thornton trade and his game heating up at the right time.

That's the point, Goalies even moreso then skaters can get noticeably hot for periods of time and seem world-class, and it's hard to tell with Reimer if he's just been "lucky" yet, because he hasn't even played half a season yet.

I don't care what Ontario/Canadian Media says about him, I want to see consistent results before I say he's a top goalie or not.

Yeah Media is the absolute worst when it comes to hyping someone up and whatnot. It's always someone new and most of them never pan out lol

Haha, yeah stupid people. The other day there was a post on the Maple Leafs facebook page with a picture of Phaneuf or something. 90% of the comments where people hating on him saying "oh Nonis better trade him", "Phaneuf is a pylon" etc... I had trouble just walking away instead of commenting but I managed to do it :lol:

Goals isn't everything, also he is young and has plenty of time to get 40 goals. Right now he is focusing on making players like JVR look better :lol:
