Damn, I'm really glad Bobby "Mr. Invisible" Ryan isn't on my team.
Yeah you've got enough invisible players on your own team once you reach the playoffs Wink

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

Lmao these announcers. That's a high stick but it was on a follow through so it's not and shouldn't be a penalty. Uhhh since when?
thats always been the rule lol

No. High stick is a high stick.

Fucking undisciplined stupid penalties killing us again. What the fuck PK we were beast last year.

Our PK loses us another game. Jealous of the Sharks zone entry, passing and cycling. They have a good team this year. Can't wait until we're home on Thursday.

Invisible because the puck went in so fast past Niemi you couldn't see it?

I was making fun of maxy for calling Ryan invisible.

60.1 High-sticking - A “high stick” is one which is carried above the height of the opponent’s shoulders. Players and goalkeepers must be in control and responsible for their stick. However, a player is permitted accidental contact on an opponent if the act is committed as a normal windup or follow through of a shooting motion. A wild swing at a bouncing puck would not be considered a normal windup or follow through and any contact to an opponent above the height of the shoulders shall be penalized accordingly.

Inconsistent reffing then. I've seen penalties called on follow throughs.

I just posted the actually rule. Most referees call anything a high stick. Shot follow through and all. Ive seen it called more often than not.

Ref's make mistakes.....not news. Sometimes it is hard to tell when it is a follow through and when it isn't and it gets called because of that. I guess now ref's should stop making the right call because some other ref missed a call......Ya that wouldn't spiral out of control fast lol.

i honestly dont think ive ever seen a high stick penalty on a shot follow through.
if i have, i dont remember it, but i would know it was the wrong call
and i would expect the commentators to know the same
