Growing up in Russia, Halloween wasn't such a big deal in the Petrov household, so the idea of costume parties was kind of a foreign concept when we came to America & I'm still not quite sure we've gotten around the awkwardness of it all. Take brother Vladmir, for example. I don't think he's quite gotten the concept of picking a different costume each year. The guy never wants to put on pants, so he always falls back on Baby New Year. It's been years now & it's the same old story every time. We tell him to pick a costume well in advance, he throws things at us, continues to wait until the last minute & it always comes back to Baby New Year. Vlad, buddy, we're trying to help you. It hasn't worked the first 5 times, it's not gonna work this time.

Deep in the suburbs of Tampa Bay, a party is hosted by the team captain of the Barracuda. However, many dare not show up for tricks or treats due to an ongoing pandemic in the world. Many could go, but few can be trusted to fully keep a mask worn, which is ironic given that the Ween of Hallo is typically a time for mask wearing. Bowls of candy, left filled as no trick or treaters show, bottles of spooky beer left undrank because party goers never showed up. No kids to try and sneak the booze under the drunk parents. For this Halloween, no tricks or treats were to be had. Only quiet time, with neat orange lights. A time to devour all candy, to send pictures of your costume to your friends. It's not all bad, but it could be better. So in conclusion, wear a mask you idiots.

This Halloween, the Syndicate decided to hold a “Territory Competition” where every player competed against one another where they fought over pucks with generic labels. By pocketing the pucks into their own respective zones, they would earn the prize/candy that was associated with that puck assuming that they could keep hold of it at the end. What ended up happening was a 18 player mess on the rink with 18 separate areas, 18 separate players both trying to steal from one another as well as protecting their own little nuggets of treasure. Unfortunately for Minamino being the only rookie, he was regularly preyed on by multiple teammates at the same time. Especially Corey Kennedy who consistently spent the entire time taking what Minamino was able to bring in, without much regard for his own pool. Kit Smeb didn’t seem particularly interested in participating, instead just hanging out by his zone and picking up loose pucks and bringing them into his own area. Soonika decided to play the the goalie spot that he is, so he simply stayed put and stopped others from trying to take what he had brought in. At the end of it, unsurprisingly it was Martijn Westbroek who pulled in the biggest haul as he fed off of everybody else quietly with the dominant puck hog force that he is. Still being the nice guy off the ice that he is, he ended up sharing with everybody anyways.

Here in Atlanta we have a lot of fun. It's warm here most of the year. There are trees and forests all around. It's all old forest so it's not hard to get in a spooky mood. So for our team Halloween party this season we went to Hotdog's house. One of the party rules was to keep your costume a secret and we'd all have a reveal during the party. So first out to reveal themselves was our Lord and Savior GM Hotdog. Hotdog walked on to the stage dressed up as our second best forward Nathan Explosion! All the Wives, Girlfriends, Boyfriends, and Family members roared. It was a truly great cosplay. Next out was newly resigned rookie Patric Twist. Patty donned a hotdog costume presumably in an effort to get more ice time. Then Jepox came out. Dressed up as Nathan Explosion! The crowd fell to pieces how funny Jepox and Hotdog wore the same costume! it got less funny as nearly the entire team wore a Nathan Explosion costume. Even half dead Leppy btw wore a Nathan Explosion costume. (1) beer was consumed in this party.

The Baltimore Platoon actually didnt have a halloween party for the first time since they changed their name. Covid has been taking its toll on everyone, and halloween parties is no exception. There were a lot of reasons that the Platoon had to cancel.

The first reason for this was because of the location for the party. All of the bars and clubs in Baltimore are closed, and they wouldnt even open despite the generous caah donations the team was willing to make to their bank accounts. The only place willing to host us was the local Chuck E. Cheese, but they would not let us take shots there so what is even the point of having a party?

Next was the, erm, festivities. We couldnt find our usual hookers to *service* us. We wanted to get some lower quality, cheaper hookers, but once we saw their pictures and they refused to release their medical records, we decided to decline and just cancel the party

To be honest luffy doesn't remember anything that happened at the halloween party this year. Everything was a blur and it was too hard to pick out who was what and what was who. Luffy came already black out drunk and had a hell of a time, between ploof games you gotta be able to wind own and chill from time to time. There was probably a lot of music and games of the pong variety and other crazy things like that who knows luffy don't remember. There comes a time when partys are wild and talked about and sometimes where you just don't talk about them cause you were just tryna have fun and not trying to make a story. People danced and played games and drank and sang songs it was a hell of a time. Next its back to the ice to win a cup.

The Edmonton Blizzard, going into their playoff series with the New England Wolfpack, opted to have a little fun with their Halloween party. Tony Pepperoni, true to his name, showed up sporting a costume that was an actual slice of pizza, Daniel Laforest came to the party as a tree, Julio Tokolosh wore a cow mask, and William Hartmann went the most all-out, choosing to don an Imperial Stormtrooper costume for the occasion. The shenanigans weren't too wild. There were a lot of exchanges of stories of the players' agents, who seem to all have the same day jobs, and there was a lengthy gathering of Eddy Ask Jr., Danila Zhernov and Denver Wolfe, who managed to go unrecognized for most of the night and were asked at a couple points by security whether they even played for the team. The night ultimately ended with the team very drunk and very amped up for their playoff run.

The Anaheim Outlaw's Halloween party was quite the experience, to say the least. After losing in the playoffs to the Kelowna Knights, there definitely was a bit of awkwardness going to a party meant to celebrate. Regardless, everyone tried to have fun, and they certainly did. Joorgustraad came to the party dressed as a parody of a hockey player (Joorgustraad is not well known for his creativity). He is wearing pads, skates, and a custom jersey he designed himself: the jersey was black and yellow, with a wheel design with a "B" at the center. He named himself "Chara" as it was an inside joke after he had burned all the food at a team cookout one time.

As for the others, it was a pretty spread mish-mash of costumes: for example, James LeBlond dressed as a generic spy, Arsene LeCleric dressed as a ghost, and Ryu Jones dressed as a karate master. It was pretty good time, even though there was a lot on everyone's mind that evening.

Colin Lambert has been dearly missing his captain Elwulf Jericson @Jericson since he was traded to the Maine Timber. Luckily for him, they both can see each other when they visit their SHL club in Tampa Bay. They decided well before the trade that they would wear tandem costumes and went through with it, but in Tampa Bay rather than St. Louis. Jericson went as Dark Helmet and Lambert went as Pizza the Hut from the hit 1987 movie, Spaceballs. Michael Fitted and Tom Fiddler were hosting the Barracuda Halloween party. As prospects, Jericson and Lambert had never been to the Fiddler-Fitted household and got horribly lost. To make the most of the night, they decided to trick-or-treat at the local houses, where they were yelled at several times for being too old. While being rejected from house-to-house, they had a surprise run-in with Pavel Kharlamov @RippleLuck, another St. Louis Scarecrow and Tampa Bay prospect. Painted head-to-toe in gold, he was also wearing a Spaceballs themed costume, going as the character of Yogurt. The three of them together trick or treated all night until they accidentally found the Fitted-Fiddler house party.

The Colorado Halloween Party was held a GM Richard Hogsworth's Mansion. The only place that could house everyone after this party. The costume contest was a blast. The only rule was that no one could dress up as a dinosaur. Too many times that everyone was a damn dinosaur. There were alot of good costumes at the party.
Best Duo Costume went to Captain Jurt as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Lord Raiden as Darth Vader.
Best Solo costumes went to Juni Panda who was decked out in an elaborate Hulk costume. He kept smashing everything in sight. Mack Daddy showed up as Austin Powers claiming he lost his mojo. And newcomer Jarmo Kekalainen dressed up as Flash Gordon while also carrying a stuffed teddy bear.
Other Costumes- Kristjansson and RESO showed up as the Bash Bros from The Mighty Ducks. Jed Mosley was Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen. Sonata Diamante dressed up as Matt Ryan from the Altanta Falcons for some weird reason. Ruggs McOoooh showed up as a bartender and just drank everything in sight.
It was a little disappointing that not everyone showed up but it was still a great time with the Dino Gang.

The Chicago Syndicate Halloween party is a yearly highlight for the team. This Halloween was quite a confusing one as all the Smeb's even alumni ones were there and were all dressed up as another Smeb which confused everyone. Jules Watt and Akira Ren came together in a duo costume with Jules Watt dressed up as Annie and Akira Ren was his giant teddy bear. There was also a guest appearance by the legendary cutmason dressed up as Aatrox. He had a little too much to drink at the party. A bunch of different games were played throughout the party. CC2 also showed up to the party late and was the life of the party dressed up as a Goat and obviously won the best costume award. Kit Smeb got the worst costume award due to dressing up as Parker Smeb which no one was impressed with at all. It was a great party.
