The universe is actively hostile to computers. One such example of this is DOTA_Teabag's speedrun of Super Mario 64. It is currently believed a cosmic particle crashed into the atmosphere, splitting into protons and neutrons, one or few of which pierced through his computer. It was this that had temporarily changed the readings on the code of the play, which teleported him upwards. The explanation is way more complicated but it's incredibly rare.
