Claiming Task 7.

Day 1 - Carolina Kraken vs Yukon Malamute
First Period- The Kraken started off the game strong controlling the first 8 minutes or so with multiple scoring opportunities, none of which made it through XYZ. With 12 minutes remaining Yukon pushed hard after a faceoff outside the Carolina zone resulting in a goal. The kraken continued to have the best scoring opportunities for the remainder of the period until the final seconds when Yukon had a two on none which was saved.
Second period - The first 8 of the second period was even with neither team getting many opportunities. The Kraken squandered their second power play of the game. After getting their second power play of the period, the Kraken finally broke through scoring on the power play to make it 1-1. Yukon was quick to respond less than two minutes later scoring on the power play. A power play at the end of the second gave Carolina the chance to tie it up going into the third.
Third period - For the third period in a row the first 8 minutes were back and forth with the Yukon scoring with 11:40 left. Despite having another power play, the Kraken struggled to come up with any real scoring chances. Yukon took advantage of an empty net sealing the deal to win the game 4-2.

Stream watched: SMJHL Regular Season Day 13 (Aug 28):

A bunch of games happened that have no importance, as they did not involve the Anchorage Armada. But then some games happened that mattered very much, as they involved the Anchorage Armada. In the first game of import, the Armada ground out a defensive 2-1 victory on the road over the Kelowna Knights, with the highly underrated rookie Barcus Juneau scoring the game-winning goal, just his fourth goal of the season. Anchorage's road trip continued in their next game, which was a 7-1 win over the lowly Thunder Bay Walleye; highly underrated Barcus Juneau succeeded in keeping himself under the radar by somehow getting zero points in the blowout. The final Armada game of the week was a trip to Yukon, and Anchorage once again took little mercy on their opponent, putting up another touchdown in a 7-2 win over the Malamutes; Barcus Juneau was able to get on the scoresheet with a single assist in the victory. Congrats to the Boats for their impressive 3-0 road trip!

Claiming task #7 Watch a livestream:.
The remaining games of the first round of the playoff were played and simmed. This write up will focus on game 6 of the Kraken-Raptors series. Colorado started with an early goal in the 1st period to take a 1-0 lead 5 minutes into the game which would be the only scoring in the first period. Carolina responded with a goal midway through the 2nd tieing the game at 1 all. The Raptors rebounded immediately and took the lead 2-1 in the next minute. The score was 2-1 entering the 3rd period with the Kraken down by 1 on home ice. Carolina scored 4 minutes into the third to tie the game 2-2. Then they went up 3-2 8 minutes into the last period. Carolina was able to fend off the late push from Colorado to win game 5. 5 players assisted on goals and the three goals were scored by all different players.
