Could have essentially 16-17 teams with a full 15 player roster....instead of a sparsely populated junior league run by more than half inactives, and some SHL teams being ghost towns.

KWhy would you want to play 155 tpe players against 1900 tpe players? Junior serves a purpose. If you were thrown right in and sucked for 4 or 5 seasons because you were playing out of your depth, how fun would that be?

Even 500 tpe players aren't gonna be great for a couple of seasons. For a recreate, fine. But for first gens, getting to see results quickly is part of the fun.

Juniors is a fun introduction. I do not support getting rid of them and I don't understand how that discussion even came up.
Mac came into the conversation Ninja

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

I vote we fold the SHL and keep juniors. Nobody gets an over 350 tpe build.

Let's just shutdown the site all together.

Personally, I'd love it if we went to an ~80 game schedule.

If we keep about the same number of games per sim that would give us about an additional 2 weeks of regular season games IRL, and would make it so that the regular season would last longer than the playoffs and offseason combined (assuming people can stick to a tight schedule in the playoffs) as opposed to what we've got now, where even if they stick to a maximal schedule in the playoffs, we're still slated to have an off-season and playoffs that are longer than the regular season. Which means that if your team misses the post-season you're guaranteed to not see another SHL sim for your player in a longer amount of time than you get to see sims at all (Discounting IIHF).

Just FYI, this calculation catches inactive regressions as "Low Activity" (New England's three "low actives" are Pomery, Sherrill, and Reid, all of whom are inactive or, in HFFO's case, retired).

Just wondering, it's something I've wondered for a while.  Would just be cool to compare our player stats and seasons to some of the seasons that real players have had.  Be able to compare our careers to others.
This is the first argument I've heard that wasn't "Because the NHL does it".

Plus, I like it
