SHL stands for Statistics, Heat Maps, and Logs. Basically just a different way to store the data that we gather from all of our accounts.

My wife walks in and sees SHL and I quickly state it's a site called Show Her Love, and helps educate men on what their partners need and want in life. Because I'm all about pleasing my lady.

Since I'm ashamed of who I am and how many hours I've already put into make believe hockey, the first thing I would have to tell people is that the SHL stands for SuperHero League, I'm part of a group of exceptional people with secret powers that we use to solve people's minor problems. An example is my friend NETMAN (yes you do always need to use all caps) who's power is that he can make nets appear as if from nowhere. My power is that I can make things pass through me, which really wouldn't be helpful as a goalie. We only solve minor problems so we don't draw too much attention to ourselves, so for example if someone drops their keys under the seat of their car and can't quite reach them, I come in to save the day and grab them no problem. When people ask why the SuperHero League exists if we only solve minor problems, I tell them that we mostly sit around and talk about our collective dream of becoming professional hockey players.

SHL stands for the Swedish Hockey League. It's just another professional hockey league that players who haven't yet made it to the NHL or other leagues decide that they want to play in. I like to track obscure players in Sweden in case they make it to the NHL someday.

Uh oh, my bosses saw the SHL open on my computer. As a teacher, there's no reason to have a hockey league open so I needed to think quick. I told them I was on Studying Healthy Living, finding lesson plans to teach my students about healthy living, healthy eating, and food groups. It worked! For now...

Uhm that's a good question... Even something porn-related would be less embarassing I'm pretty sure! I think my best hope would be to open up one of the many SHL-related spreadsheets that exist at this point and pretend that it's something work related. Maybe SHL could stand for some sort of Statistical... Hypothesis... Log?

Working in restaurants we end up using initials every once in a while for different ingredients, dish items, anything along those lines. So when I was at work and the SHL accidentally opened up on my phone instead of the order sheet for the following week, I had to think fast and told them that the SHL stood for Spinach Hot Line. It's where anytime you have questions about the origins of a dish, you call up the Spinach Hot Line and they give all the information you need.

The SHL stands for Swordfish Hamburger Listings: A fun place where you can get excellent recipes on unusual ingredients, like the oft-overlooked delicacy swordfish. The best part of the website is how it simply gives you the recipes, without the entire family history of the author, and their drive to make quality recipes from those bullshit "everyday ingredients you can find around your house", which according to them are things like Smoked Hungarian Paprika, distilled agave syrup, ground rose petals, and the left nut of a green gecko.
