As I like both players I'd be sad they'd be leaving but picking up Gagner or Letang would definitely be worth it.

Shit I'd be pissed if we moved Getzlaf for Crosby straight up as a Ducks fan. But that's personal preference, despite the fact it's probably a good business and roster move

From a roster standpoint sure. But as a 33 year old I don't see it as a fit.

Wherever he goes don't be surprised if he signs a one year deal and goes back to TB next season at a cheaper price. He never wanted to leave Tampa at all.

If Gardiner goes in a Letang deal fine. I understand that. It would suck but sure. Reilly though no, not at all. He should be untouchable, we need to let our prospects actually grow instead of trading them away.

Why is that a joke? Gardiner and Gagner are both the same thing. Tons of talent, tons of potential. Except Gagner has actually proved something in the NHL while Gardiner has showed spurts of greatness and spurts of young kid mistakes.

Sam Gagner is 23 (Almost 24) and has spent 6 seasons in the NHL... He's played over 400 NHL games and just had his best season. Add in the fact you have plenty of defensive prospects and 0 center prospects aside from Kadri and I fail to see a joke

Because Gardiner > Gagner. Takes longer for defence to reach there potential. Gardiner is only 22yrs old and he has shown that he can be great. I'll keep him defintely when Gagner isn't needed. We have Kadri and Grabovski for the top 6.

Your reasoning baffles me. So because Gardiner has shown he could be great he's better than Gagner who's played 6 seasons... Yet when arguing Reimer vs Bernier... Reimer is automatically better because he's been a starter for 1 1/2 seasons, despite the fact that if you've ever watched Bernier he has shown he could be something incredibly special
