TUESDAY: SCANDALS TASK 2

PRESS RELEASE

October  16, 2018

Paddy O’ Sullivan aka Ryan Perlman LW for the hockey team West Kendall Platoon was arrested this past weekend for drunken disorderly conduct, possession of pornography and a vape pen containing marijuana. The arrest took place shortly after a call was placed to the police regarding a man dressed in a Sasquatch costume shooting pucks at cars and pedestrians walking by the “Last shot pub” downtown. Several eye witnesses also reported that he was handing out pornographic materials and asking people to see if they can find his picture inside the magazines. Once in custody his costume was removed and police were able to find evidence needed to back up the allegations. A nearby restaurant was able to share this photo captured on their outdoor surveillance camera.

These charges bring a minimum fine of $2,000 and a maximum penalty of a year in jail, not to say what will happen to his career with the West Kendall Platoon who are gearing up for a big loss against the Winnipeg Jets in the Season 43 Challenge Cup series.
The Simulation Hockey League was asked to comment and had this to say.  “It’s a real shame when we see that the pressure can do to these players, we are hoping with some rehabilitation Paddy is able to make a comeback and hopefully he will still be able to play in this season’s cup.”

His court date is set for January 10, 2019. (238 Words)

It’s never easy to wrangle talent but fortunately for the SHL and this 43rd Challenge Cup Finals crowd the Calgary dragons have you covered.
The first thing I would do is go out to the SHL parking lot and grab all the Calgary players who are undoubtedly tail gating and already half in the bag.
I would ask them to perform their special talent on stage during the first intermission and I would tell them that money is being donated to the charity of their choice.
Alex Mack will do an incredible magic trick with the help of his girlfriend… which will for sure go down as a “wardrobe malfunction”.
Esa will perform a fly fishing demonstration because wherever he is he usually has a fishing pole on him.
All of this will be going on while the rest of the team dances to Whitney Houston’s “How will I know” in the background.
It’s sure to grab people’s attention and some lucky charity will receive a dollar each. (168 Words)

(Note: this report is a parody of the extreme way keemstar likes to report his news, my status on him is neutral. This is for a full comedic and satire type of report. The report is meant to be said and recognized as being an exaggeration on what actually happened.)

Today, we will begin with the HOT new news on a player in the SHL CUP FINALS??? WHAT IS HE DOING?? Anyway, I went diggin and found out what he did. So, apparently, Jon Ross went to the club late at night, like at 1 am, and drank the night away. He fling those dollar bills and wasted A TON OF MONEY. LIKE, 1 THOUSAND DOLLARS DUDE. THATS LIKE 11 BENJAMINS. Anyway, there was like an ENTIRE CROWD of people that he looked at aggressively, he like assaulted them. That’s like, assult, he almost sexually assaulted them like WOAH. That’s messed up. Anyway, the officials at the SHL saw this and didn’t think it was much. Like, WHAT?? Are they insane? HE LIKE GOT DRUNK and assaulted like 17 women went he went to the club at like 3 am, I think that’s something that’s suspendible, who goes to the club at 11 pm the night before a game??? That’s stupid, anyway that’s it for tonight. Don’t do stupid stuff kids!

Blue: “How do you think your performance will be and how will it help the team?”

@JR95 : “I've actually had a career season as a defenseman this season so I'm really just hoping to be able to bring the regular season performance into the playoffs. I don't expect to put up too many points, that's not my job after all. 'm hoping to be a defensive stalwart that makes our goalie's life a little easier.”

Blue: “Do you think your team will win and why?”

Jon Ross: “I mean, it's hard to be super confident when you're playing a team that is as strong and successful as Winnipeg. That said I think we've shown time and time again that we are a legit threat in the league and we are going to be playing with a fire lt under our asses. It's going to be a close series but I am confident my boys can do it.”

Blue: “Do you think you can make the finals next year?”

Jon: “Absolutely. We have an amazing core of players that has managed to win the cup in s41 and brought us back to the finals again here in S43. We have a long term plan in place to keep the team competitive while not succumbing to age and regression. Our top players still have a LOT of fight left in them, so expect us to be a playoff team and potentially a cup team for many seasons to come.”

- Who is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why?
Well, the Platoon are definitely the underdogs, since they just barely made the playoffs. But, I feel like the Jets and the Platoon can be the favorites, since both of their regular season preformances were nearly opposite, and some people love a good underdog story, and others like a dominating story, so I feel that they are both equally the favorites.

- Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy?
I feel that the Jet’s playoff success in the past few years makes them the team that will continue their legacy and expand on it as much as possible. If they win, it’ll be their second challenge cup in the span of 6 years, breaking their streak of loosing in the conference finals for 4 years.

- Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why?
Jason Visser - Leaded the league in points, goals, and assists with 29 goals, 45 assists, and 74 points, do I have to say more?

Dani Forsberg - Lead his team in points and assists with 57 points and 37 assists, and had 20 goals, this guy is key to his team, and without him, they wouldn’t be as good as they are right now.

Max Weber - Lead all the defensemen in the league in points, and was second in assists, this guy can dish dimes anywhere, anytime.

Task 7: Task 7: Tomorrow the SHL marketing department will release the official championship series alternate logos to be sold to the public! Design an Alternate logo for one of the teams involved in the challenge cup finals. that alternate must include the team name and season number within the logo.

YIKES!!!!!! ... to make matters worse Eggy and HO are not around to approve more money for a differant act! You have been chosen to take on the unenviable task of putting together something which the whole world is about to watch ...with nothing but the 11 dollars in your pocket.

In 150 words or more, explain what you came up with and how will it be implamented. The Plan must include a diagram or picture.

What I will do, is as the following: I will go, take a dollar from my pocket, and place it on the ground, in the middle of the stage. And walk off, and wait until someone comes up and picks it up. Whoever gets it, will keep it. Then, I’ll repeat the process until I have 5 singles left. Then, I’ll take the microphone and hype up the next period, as the special effects people do as they wish. As I do, I’ll make the 5 singles into one big money airplane and throw it somewhere. Lastly, I’ll just get someone to just play a bunch of Katy Perry songs because that’s what they were expecting. And then I’ll play chess against someone in the crowd. Then I’ll tell them that now it’s the time to boo me for as much as the wish, wait the 15 minutes of their continuous booing, and walk away. Hey, something is better than nothing amirite?

BREAKING: Reports are coming out that West Kendall Platoon stud defender Sven Brokstad has a bad habit of public nudity. Numerous reports are cropping up that the formerly respected member of the Simulation Hockey League has been spotted participating in what appears to be nude planking across the Miami area. Reports are cropping up that Sven Brokstad has been a sexual deviant for quite some time as more and more photographic evidence crops up showing the player lying around in the nude. There alleged photos of Sven Brokstad show him participating in his nude planking “hobby” at the beach, at the club, at the park, and even at a local school.
It will be interesting to see how the league deals with such lewd behavior considering the amount of children the league brings in with its family friendly atmosphere. This may be the most disgusting act the league has ever seen from a player in the modern hockey era.

I interviewed @FlappyGiraffe of the Winnipeg Jets.

1. The Jets have had a lot of success in recent years, but have only come away with a single Cup in season 37, how do you think history looks back on the team?
I think history is going to look back on this team that very talented, and a perennial contender. Unfortunately it's only resulted in one cup so far, but I believe that is enough to cement this as one of the SHL's greatest teams.

2. What is the vibe in the locker room going into this Championship series with West Kendall?
The vibe is a bit anxious right now, we respect the weapons that WKP has at front and are hoping that we will be able to shut them down enough to win four games.

3. Who is the X-factor on the roster that you anticipate coming in and really having an impact for the Jets in the quest for a championship and how are they going to do so?
The x-factor on the roster that I anticipate having a big impact for the Jets, is Pietra Volkova. Fresh off a 4 goal games in game 7 of the WCF, look for her to go on a a big hot streak this series.

- What young player has a chance to make a name for themself in this series?
I am going to with Troy McClure III for this one. Troy McClure III is the youngest player in the finals series and he is getting 25% of the ice time for the Winnipeg Jets’ defense. Troy McClure III is a rookie, but the fact that he is playing over 15 minutes per game really says a lot about his ability. So far he has been solid in the post season but if he takes advantage of the moment and makes some noise in this finals series he may not ever have to buy himself another drink in Winnipeg.

- Who is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why?
In this series the Winnipeg Jets have to be the favorites. I know the West Kendall Platoon have had a championship more recently, but the modern Winnipeg Jets have been associated with success for so long that I think they get the edge here. Their roster is strong and they are never out of it. They are the favorites and the Platoon are the slight underdogs by default.

- Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy?
I think the Winnipeg Jets need a win here to really cement themselves as one of the great teams in recent years. The Jets have had a lot of success in the regular season and are a team that is always in the mix when the playoffs roll around. However, eventually you have to bring home some Challenge Cups to cement yourself as one of the top teams of your era. The Jets have done so once, I think a second one would really seal it for them.

First, you find the 10 cutest kids in the audience, ideally you would have five West Kendall Platoon Fans and five Winnipeg Jets fans.  Now you divide them up into two groups based on their team support and get all 10 of them down on the ice and have somebody out there with a microphone. Now first you have all of the children that are fans of the Winnipeg Jets do their best Jets sound impression and have them up on the big screen while they’re doing it. After all five kids have done hilariously cute impressions of Jets you let the crowd cheer for who they thought was best. Next you have all of the West Kendall Platoon kids do their best impression of a Platoon or their raptor mascot, performer’s choice I guess. Once again the crowd picks a winner by cheering as you go through all five contestants. Next, you take the two winners and have them give it another go at their respect sounds. The crowd cheers for the winner and you give them their prize. A few minutes of fame and $1. You keep your other $10, this is not a charity after all.

Task 2
On the night of October 12th, 2018, the league was notified of star West Kendall player Jon Ross’ arrest. West Kendall police department received a call from a local drive thru that an intoxicated man became angry when he did not receive the correct dipping sauce with his order and proceeded to throw a young alligator through the drive thru window. Originally, police believed this to be a prank call but upon arrival found there to genuinely be an alligator in the restaurant kitchen. Animal control was quickly dispatched to the location and the alligator humanely captured and re-released into the wild outside of the city limits. Thankfully nobody was hurt during the altercation. Jon Ross has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. It is unclear how this situation will affect Ross’ eligibility to play in the Challenge Cup Finals, although the Platoon are known for their very well respected legal staff.

How does it feel to win your 2nd Challenge Cup in 3 seasons?
It’s an awesome feeling. I think you’re pretty lucky to win one Challenge Cup in your career, to win 2 is just amazing, especially 2 within only 3 seasons.

Who would you say was your teams unsung hero during this years playoffs?
I think Karsten Kadinger really stepped up during these playoffs. He was rock solid defensively and was huge in Game 1 of the finals, setting the tone for the series.

How have the post championship parties been? Still hungover?
Yeah you could say I’m still a bit hungover. The partying has been non-stop. Don’t think I should really get into too much detail haha, but I’m excited to bring the cup back to my hometown.

Task 5
- Who is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why?
I think it is pretty clear for most outsiders that the favorite to win this series is the Winnipeg Jets. The Jets have dominated the league during the 43rd season and have far superior depth between the two forward cores while the defense and goaltenders appear to be relatively evenly matched. While the Platoon appear to be the underdogs, nobody in their right mind should count out a team as strong as West Kendall who won the championship just two years ago.

Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy?
On paper the Winnipeg Jets have been a powerhouse in recent memory, boasting ridiculous depth and some of the best players in the entire league, with players like Jason Visser, Max Weber, Zach Evans and Corey Bearss. But despite their regular season prowess and roster depth, the Jets only have one Challenge Cup to show for it, coming back in Season 37. With many Jets stars starting to feel the effects of regression, Winnipeg will need to step up it’s game here in the Challenge Cup Finals if they want to build a lasting legacy.

Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why
Jason Visser – Visser has been one of the stars in the league in recent years, coming very close to posting record setting points totals multiple times. Visser once again took home the Sergei Karpotsov award for most points this season. The platoon will need to key in on Visser if they have any hope of stealing the series.
Max Weber – Weber had a bounce back season in S43 and proved that he is still one of the best all around defenseman in the SHL. West Kendall will need to find a way to neutralize Weber in this series.
Dani Forsberg – This spot could easily also go to Trevor Wilson, but Forsberg sets the tempo for West Kendall. One of the top point scorers in the league while also being one of the biggest hitters out there, the Jets will need to be aware every time Forsberg steps onto the ice.

First off all, it’s the challenge cup finals and the commissioner and head office are missing in action? Where the fuck are you guys come on get your shit together. Second of all, Katy Perry? Seriously? What the hell is the SHL’s target market 9-year-old girls? Anyways, I know exactly what to do. I go into the crowd and find 10 of the drunkest college students I can find, cause drunk college students will do anything for pretty much any kind of reward, big or small. We’re gonna have a good ol’ game of bubble soccer. Except on the ice. If a bunch of drunk college kids smashing into each other and eating shit all over the place isn’t good entertainment then I don’t know what is. I’ll use the $11 on a gift card to any vendor in the rink. The winning team can decide what to do with the $11. I suppose they could get a small beer, or a bag of popcorn or something.

Task 2

Heading into one of the most crucial series in the teams history, disaster has struck the Winnipeg locker room. Finally being caught red handed was Winnipeg Jets star Pietra Volkova as she accepted donations from fans for her personal amazon ‘wishlist’ as they scrambled to what people are calling “white knighting” her affection away. This is something strictly outlawed in the rule book dealing with personal contributions on the side while under a league contract. The player had been accepting ‘donations’ from her advertised wishlist for ‘fans’ wanting to go the extra mile to win her affection. The reward? “Lewd” photos of the Russian star a kin to the body issue photos taken regularly by ESPN. The poor timing of this all right before the pivotal series with Volkova playing as well as she has been now has all eyes on the league as a whole as this wasn’t ever considered with its players both male and female, shining a less than good light on a once reserved league.

1: I'm a little biased, but goaltending will be the biggest story this series. I've been playing lights out so far, and you have the second highest save percentage on the other side. Both sides have shown they can score. It'll be a matter of which goalie can slow it down the most.
2: For fun I'd like to say it's personal, but honestly there's no real beef. Volkova leaving WKP was really sad and a huge hole in our offense, but things worked out great for both sides in the end.
3: Consistency has always been a staple in West Kendall. While Calgary has been the most successful reaching the ploofs in the past 20 something seasons, West Kendall has been right there behind them, only dropping out a few seasons. Time and time again, if a big piece ends up leaving the team we find a way to adjust and come back. But if we keep everybody again, we could possibly reach dynasty status.
4: My play has been amazing. Ain't nothing getting past me. Not even no stinkin' jets.


Task 5

- Who is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why?
The Favourites are most likely the Winnipeg Jets. Why? Well they have been consistent in challenging or seeming to challenge every season since winning the cup. With a core like Evans – Visser – Weber, it’s hard to not think that, as they try again for another cup. Being the Underdogs is just find for the Platoon as many people expected them to bow out in 5 games to the Steelhawks and well, here we are, how did that work out for all of you?

- Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy?
The Platoon. Why do you ask? To prove their cup wasn’t just a one off fluke. The core of this team has been together for seasons, and stuck it out through the thick and thin, and didn’t bolt to chase a cup to a Western team. So with that dedication and support for one another they need this cup to prove they are more than just a flash in a pan and a true contender for seasons to come.

- Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why?

Dani Forsberg – Jason Visser – Alex Light.

Visser destroyed the league for points this season so it’s not hard to see why he is a constant threat heading into the series. Next is the newer platoon member Dani Forsberg. Having been quietly effective for the Platoon all season, his ability to crush a game on his own should always be feared. Lastly is Alex Light. His attractive to Game winners is something verging on the side of restraining order, the guys loves to pot those late game goals, so when the team is in need, look to the Light.

Monday:

Tuesday: (task 2)
Jason Visser of the Winnipeg Jets was caught wearing a West Kendall footsie pajama onsie to bed in the team hotel, per McLovin of TMZ. When asked about his pajamas Visser refused to comment. Fans of the Jets are outraged that their star player would be wearing anything of the opponents logos, let alone, a grown man wearing footsie pajamas to bed. Zach Evans tried to defend his teammate by saying "Hey man, look, he's comfortable, whatever, leave him alone".

This is a much bigger issue than Evans seems to be making it out to be. People around the world are now calling Visser "soft" for wearing footy pajamas to bed considering he's a grown man. It truly is mind baffling and really makes me question his maturity and if he really can help lead the Jets to victory. One thin is for sure, people all around are definitely looking at Jason differently.

The SHL says their players are free to wear what they please to bed, trying to cool down the heat they are receiving from one of their players wearing footy pajamas.

How are you feeling ahead of the Challenge Cup?
I feel good, I'm ready. Obviously we've been here before and we're still hungry. The guys are all ready, I think our city is ready. It should be a lot of fun for everyone.

Alex, what is your pregame ritual especially ahead of such a big series?
I listen to only the Wiggles. Why? Because it makes me loose. I makes me realize to relax and not take everything serious. Then I go out there and I play hockey.

One last thing, what's your prediction on the series?
West Kendall win in 4. We're not here to lose. Only to win. Just wait and see. I'm very confident in our guys and in myself. I can't wait to get out on the ice!

Wednesday (Task 5)
Troy McClure III is the only rookie on both these rosters before the S43 Challenge Cup. He only has 1 point throughout these playoffs, but I have a feeling he can make an impact. Sometimes rookies come out of nowhere and turn heads, and I think this kid has the ability to do just that. With 15 minutes a game he's definitely seeing enough ice-time to contribute and I think this series will be the one where he bursts through.

My favorite for this series is the Winnipeg Jets, making the West Kendall Platoon my underdogs. The Jets were my preseason pick, and with a player like Jason Visser, even with his footy pajamas, the Jets can always win any game they are involved in. West Kendall, albeit, is no easy team, and they've proven it over the last couple of years, but I think this series belongs to the Jets and the Platoon really have their work cut out for them.

The three most dangerous players this series is Jason Visser of the Jets, Trevor Wilson of the Platoon, and Crossfit Jesus of the Jets. Starting with Crossfit Jesus.. just look at that name, that's the name of a winner. Plus his 18 points in 13 games is nothing to gawk over. Trevor Wilson is coming in with 16 points in 11 games and can't be stopped. Jason Visser is always a player who can change the game. Its tough to choose which of the three will have the best series, but I think it is safe to say that they all can control this series.

Luckily, she said she would. She plans on performing "Feeling Good on a Wednesday" and "Push". The eleven dollars we have to spend is more than she usually makes for a show so she's extremely excited. Lorde will be a huge hit among the young fans as she always puts on quite the show.

Once the show starts, Lorde will drop down from the ceiling singing "Ya ya ya, I am Lorde, ya ya ya" and immediately go into "Feeling good on a Wednesday" hit. While some people don't believe that she is actually a young teenage girl from New Zealand, and instead, a grown man who is a geologist, everyone will surely enjoy the show, conspiracy theories aside.

Task 2: Oh no! scandal has hit championship week here on day 2! as a beat reporter from TMZ obtained the police reports of a highly embarrasing arrest made from one of the players in the challenge cup series!.. In 150 words or more, create an official SHL press report to release to the media with a picture related to the incident, the details of this incident, what player or players were involved and the official reponse of the league.



The Simulation Hockey League is taking seriously the accusation draw against Ted Glass, the defenseman from the West Kendall Platoon. It came to the attention of the head office of the SHL last night that Ted Glass has been detained by the West Kendall police department following an incident that happened after the last game of the Platoon conference final series. The SHL has let the West Kendall police department known that they can count on them to answer every interrogation they would have on Glass’s incident. Glass has decided not to make any comment regarding the ongoing investigation. The league will also not comment on the proceeding following this press release. The SHL also opened an internal investigation on Ted Glass behaviour during the alleged events. For now, Glass will not be suspended and will be able to compete in the S43 SHL finals with his team against the Winnipeg Jets. A suspension could be handed at a later date following the criminal investigation or the league internal investigation.

The S39 draftee and Winnipeg Jets defenseman Gary Grease could be a standout in this final. Grease play on both Jets special units and has seen is role increase in the last few seasons. The S43 final is a great place for Grease to showcase how he is becoming one of the top defenseman in the SHL.

The Winnipeg Jets are the clear favourite to win the S43 SHL championship, in my opinion. They were the league top team in the regular season and their playoff performances have been equally impressive up to this point. On the other side, the Platoon are a surprise team to see in the final after they barely made the playoffs, finishing fourth in the east.

The three players worth will be the most dangerous in terms of offensive performance are Pietra Volkova, Crossfit Jesus and Trevor Wilson. Volkova has an impressive 11 goals in 13 games since the beginning of the playoffs, if there is no slow down, we can expect to see a goal every game. Jesus has an astonishing 18 points since the beginning of the playoffs and Wilson has been the main offensive generator for the Platoon.

YIKES!!!!!! ... to make matters worse Eggy and HO are not around to approve more money for a differant act!  You have been chosen to take on the unenviable task of putting together something which the whole world is about to watch ...with nothing but the 11 dollars in your pocket.

In 150 words or more, explain what you came up with and how will it be implamented. The Plan must include a diagram or picture.

My plan is quite simple but could also end up in a disaster. Of course, it is really disappointing for Katy Perry fans since they won’t be able to see their favourite artist perform and I hope they didn’t purchase tickets to the game only to see the intermission show. I will use the 11 dollars left to purchase flares in three different colors which will be blue, red and green, because those color are the most common. I will purchase as many flares as I can, considering the ridiculously low remaining budget. The show will go on while the Zambonis are on the ice. Flares will be mounted on the four corners of both Zamboni and some employees will also have them in the stands. All flares will go on at the same time which should result in a beautiful lightning show all across the ring. It could also result in an evacuation due to a fire being lit.

The SHL is unhappy to hear that West Kendall Platoon winger Dionys Vyskoc and West Kendall Platoon goalie Beaujeaux Biscuit have been arrested on charges of public nudity. The Czech international was found drunk, stoned, high, and naked at 2 PM in a park, running around yelling "You can't mess with me! I'm a god damn unicorn!", while the Irish goalie was found around the same time in the same park in the same state, running around with his wang dong swinging about, yelling "The motherf******* aliens are here!!". As such, the SHL has banned beer from all team locker rooms and suspended the two for game 1 of the Challenge Cup Final.

I'd say the player most deserving of winning a championship on either team is West Kendall Platoon star right winger Trevor Wilson. Wilson has been a star for many years, and has won one with WKP, but his high scoring deserves another title.

I'd say West Kendall needs this cup. They're like the Capitals of the SHL. So close, yet so far. Winning that cup a couple of seasons ago helped get the monkey off their back, but Winnipeg has far more cups than them, so the Platoon need this one.

The favorite has to be the Jets. They have arguably the best top nine in the league, and a great defense to boot. The Platoon will be the underdogs, but don't underestimate them. They won a cup recently and the main core is still there.

A United Airlines flight was delayed for 11 hours this past week due to what passengers describe as all out biological warfare and a threat to mankind in the sky. A Russian immigrant by the name of Viatchselav Orlov was ordered to disembark before flight 42069 was to take off from the West Houston Airport. 74 year old male flight attendant Jon Remery entered the bathroom Mr. Orlov was last seen using and had a heart attack from the vile stench left behind the state sanctioned coroner said. United Airlines security and local police officers boarded the plane and struggled to remove the man responsible at first. A number of passengers pointed to Orlov and attested to the fact that he had indeed been the last person to use the airline's rear washroom. In the end officers claimed they positively identify a match in the reeking smell wafting from the rear of the plane with the odor Orlov permeated. SHL officials had no issues as Orlov didn't use any bad words on the plane.

Task 6: 
In wake of the success of 'Gritty' the philadelphia Flyers mascot.. the SHL has asked its graphics department to come up with an official S43 challenge cup mascot!  Design a Mascot with the characteristics of both the West Kendall Platoon and Winnipeg Jets franchises! The Mascot should have a name, the colors of both teams involved in the series and at least 1 special feature which the fans associate it with.


Task 7: Tomorrow the SHL marketing department will release the official championship series alternate logos to be sold to the public!  Design an Alternate logo for one of the teams involved in the challenge cup finals. that alternate must include the team name and season number within the logo.


Task 8: Tons of fans are about to arrive into town hungry and the SHL needs your help with the creation of 2 new original food items which the league can patent and serve at the stadiums!  The graphic specifications are below...

So it's fuckin just an unsupervised intermission performance? Who even cares about anything then fuck $11 bucks that's the whole show baby. I'd go out and be like guys I only have eleven dollars and I am really hungry please donate to me. Or maybe I would need to lie and be like I only have eleven bucks for this charity so far everyone please donate. Either way I would just be walking through the crowd on the mic asking for money from people in the lower bowl probably. American hockey player Chase Byron was arrested last night in Las Vegas on suspicion of being in possession of cocaine and MDMAA. A police report alleges a pat-down of guests at the entrance to the MGM Grand revealed 3.3 grams of cocaine and 8.1 grams of Molly in Byron's shorts. The beat reporter from TMZ who broke up the news also add Byron could face a penalty ranging from probation to a maximum of four years in prison.

The Denver native who is playing for the Winnipeg Jets was a few days short to compete for the Challenge cup. We know for sure he won't be allowed to play as the SHL commish announced he is immediately suspended indefinately. Eggy said in a press conference he will wait for more details to come out but unless Byron is found innocent or was set up, he won't be allowed to play a single more minute in the SHL. That news could greatly hurt the Jets as so far in the playoffs Chase played a total of 0 minutes...

1) First time SHL owner and your team is in the finals, quite the achievement isn't it?
Response: Former GM did an outstanding job to build this roster, all I did was trying out some new lines and ran a lot sims test. I didn’t do this all by myself, Toe helped me a lot too.

2) Your player Gary Grease had a breakout year, any reasons why?
Response: I put more focus on offensive stats lately and it seems to work. Also it's the first season my guy played on the powerplay. We scored a lot this year, that help too.

3) Who should we keep an eye on for the finals?
Response: I expect a lot from big names like Visser, Evans, Volkova, Bears, Weber... but one guy who is rarely mentionned and I expect big things is Troy McClure. He said he would score a goal, so yeah him.

Which player on either team is most deserving of winning a championship?
This is not an easy one to answer as a lot of players from both teams won the cup fairly recently. I'll go with Connor Blackwell. It's his last season in the league and his agent ligma never once won the cup with this player and the one before. A well respected member for a long time he's the one in my opinion who deserved it the most.

Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy?
Winnipeg really does need this one. It's a team with a lot of old players and I only see them having around two more seasons before having to rebuild. For almost 10 years they had the best roster on paper and only one cup to show for it. And they did it by abusing the system with their top players playing over 30 mins. New rules had to be put in place since that.

Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why?
1.Jason Visser : He’s litteraly the best player in the league with over 2000 TPE. He had an amazing regular season finishing first in points.
2. Dani Forsberg : In my mind, he's the best forward on West Kendall. Very physical player who can change a game with one big hit. He can also score and is a very good passer
3. Ludwig Koch Scroder : The best d-man in this series. He's not gonna put a lot of points on the stats sheet, but he will frustrate his opponents with his amazing defensive play. Can also play big minutes.

YIKES!!!!!! ... to make matters worse Eggy and HO are not around to approve more money for a differant act!  You have been chosen to take on the unenviable task of putting together something which the whole world is about to watch ...with nothing but the 11 dollars in your pocket. In 150 words or more, explain what you came up with and how will it be implamented. The Plan must include a diagram or picture.

Something very few people know about Ti-Guy Emond is that is mother used to work in a circus. When he was younger he would watch her perform every weekend. He had discussions with all the performers and they would show him some tricks. Ti-Guy favorites artist was a magician named Tantouze la Parlouze. He was famous for his card tricks and show many to young Emond.

So when that unfortunate incident happened and the SHL needed a backup plan, Ti-Guy step up. He told Eggy to give him 10 minutes as he will go to the nearest shop to buy a deck of card with his 11$ budget. There was already a mic on the stage so he didn’t need anything else. It was an unhappy crowd waiting for him but people quickly started to enjoy his performance. He went on for 30 minutes and got a standing ovation at the end. Ti-Guy was overwhelmed by the reactions and his now considering to quit hockey for this.

- Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy?
West Kendall is coming off a recent Challenge Cup. Everyone likes winning championships, so the drive to be champion will always be there, but I think there’s more hunger in Winnipeg since West Kendall is still not that far removed from their Challenge Cup. It’ll likely mean more to Winnipeg if they can seal the deal.
- What young player has a chance to make a name for themself in this series?
Looks like Troy McClure III has the opportunity to make his name known more around the league. Showing up big in the Challenge Cup Final could mean a lot for the young defenseman. A s42 draftee, McClure III still isn’t too far removed from his SMJHL rookie season. A good showing, and McClure III could became quite famous from this serious.
- Who is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why?
Hard to say, after a great regular season, most people have Winnipeg winning it all. But the way that West Kendall has beaten opponents on the way to the finals tips it in their favor. The Platoon has kicked everyone’s ass so far in the playoffs. The Jets have struggled a bit in the second round facing the Los Angeles Panthers. It’s interesting for sure, but I’d say the Platoon are the favorites.

The plan centers around a $10 fishing rod and the left over dollar. To entertain the masses, the dollar will be hooked to the rod and a staff member will sneak onto ice while the officials are still trying to get off the ice at intermission. An official will the dollar and want the dollar. The official will try to grab the dollar but the staff member holding the rod will move away, dragging the dollar. The official will be none the wiser and try his best to get the dollar. The official will not see the staff with the rod, never. On ice officials are too blind to see a guy with a fishing rod connected to the dollar bill they’re chasing. The officials are overworked and underpaid, they don’t have time for anything besides getting that dollar. The crowd will be wise to what’s going on and love the spectacle.

The SHL has heard about the recent arrest of star player Jon Ross of the West Kendall Platoon and has assigned a team to look into the issue and investigate the matter more. What we are able to say currently, however, are these few things. First off, we are aware that Ross may have been intoxicated or drugged at the time, leading to his wild actions. We also know that he did not act the way he did because that's who he is, as Ross is one of the most respected and liked players in the league. We can say that we do not believe Ross did it. Now, we know the incident involves Ross supposedly going around the opposing team of the finals, Winnipeg, and shouting "(expletive) the Jets!" This happened over and over supposedly, and he got physical with some fans it seemed. Again, we do not believe this was intentional and are looking into it further.

A young player that can make a name for himself this series could be Troy Mcclure of the Winnipeg Jets. He had a disappointing regular season in his first year out of the minors, but he can make himself known and put into hockey lore with a strong performance in the finals for the team.

The favorite this series are the Winnipeg Jets and the underdogs are the West Kendall Platoon. I say this because in the regular season, the Jets were the best team in the league with 70 points over the course of the season, while the Platoon were the worst team to make the playoffs, barely getting in with only 49 points.

The 3 most dangerous players on the ice in the series are Jason Visser of the Jets, Dani Forsberg of the Platoon, and CrossFit Jesus of the Jets. They're the most dangerous players on the ice because of how they did in the regular season. Visser had 70 points, one of the best players in the whole league and has been huge for Winnipeg. Forsberg led the Platoon in points with a little over 50 and Jesus was after Visser in points for the Jets, also a little over 50 points. That's why they are the most dangerous players on the ice.

The plan is simple. Gritty. Gritty, the recently announced Flyers mascot, has no need for money, so I plan to pocket that, don't tell Eggy. Gritty, who luckily enough was already in town, has agreed that he will be part of the plan. What is he even going to do, you may be asking, especially since I bought no props. Well, all he is going to do is terrorize people. He is going to go around the stadium causing mayhem working from nosebleeds and end up on the ice which he plans to melt. How? You don't want to know why he has this, but Gritty has a lighter he plans to use. Does Gritty plan to use arson besides this? He wouldn't say, which adds to the suspense! I hope I made Eggy proud with the idea of Gritty going around and terrorizing people, I feel like that is what is best for the league after Perry dropped out.

Normally, this negative press would call for Zach's suspension during the final round of the playoffs, but due to the hilarity of the situation and the embarrassment following, we have decided to forego suspension in this particular case. There have been a lot of rumors surrounding the case, so we, along with Zach, would like to lay out the facts.

Yes, he did claim to have seen Bigfoot.
No, he did not actually see Bigfoot. It was just a really hairy biker dude. Upon realizing this, Zach became irate and began breaking every wooden object in sight.

Question 1) Breakfast of champions. Most people use this phrase in jest, but I honestly want to know. What are you eating for breakfast that keeps you in top shape out on the ice?

The breakfast of champions is not joke, I eat my bowl of Lucky Charms out of a replica Champion cup and get my bacon and eggs gold leafed just like those new gold burger buns they have now. You need surround yourself with the feeling of being a  champion in order to actually be a champion.

Question 2) Your most hated rival is drunkenly crossing the street at an area that is both unlit and also not a crosswalk. What kind of car are you driving when you run them down? (Feel free to include a story about how you happened across this scene in the first place.)

I'm driving my Ford Raptor, lifted...I speed up, flash him with my high beams and rev the engine. Just as I approach him, stunned and shocked, stuck to the middle of the road like a deer in the headlights, I swerve just enough to miss him, but pop the door open on my way by, knocking him on his ass.

Question 3) Game 7, four minutes into over time. Puck's on your stick, it's just you and the goalie. Top titties, five-hole, or get them to bite and embarrass them with a shoot-out move?

I get him to bite, he goes right and I go left... my off hand which throws the goalie for a loop then I ever-so-gently toss a little backhand flip over his extended pad as a desperation attempt as he is already fully out of the net.

What young player has a chance to make a name for themselves in this series?

Nicholas Williams is still down in St. Louis, playing in the Four Star Cup Finals. Barely. The Scarecrows are down 2-0 and facing an early exit if they don’t crank up the scoring. Currently being out-scored 11-2, Nicholas Williams may be called up in time to play some of the later games of the Challenge Cup Finals. If so, he could make an impact on day one, replacing a low TPE 4th liner, or even working his way up to 3rd. [81]

No doubt the West Kendall Platoon are out to win the Challenge Cup again. Looking to bounce back after last season’s first round exit, the Platoon are looking to win back the Challenge Cup they won just two seasons ago. But history is not on their side. They are 0-2 all-time against the Jets in the Challenge Cup finals. They need this win to prove to Winnipeg that they’re anything but a cheap date. [74]

Who has been there teams surprise player in the post season?

Max Weber, defenseman for the Winnipeg Jets, has really broke out this post season. Scoring 14 points so far, Max has done it with mainly assists. Clearly a force to be reckoned with, he’s thrown the body around 33 times, three hundred percent of how many times he’s been on the receiving end. Needless to say he’s the breakout star for Winnipeg this offseason. [64]
