The Cassidy-Meek Mill beef finally produces its first "official" diss track, "Me Myself & iPhone". The final verse in particular is aimed at Meek.

Honestly, I love Meek, but I do believe I am on Cassidy's side here. For those who don't know, Meek came out and named Cassidy as a guy he'd like to engage in a rap battle with, but when Cassidy took him up on his offer, Meek backtracked and ran away from it.

Listening to Hit-Boy's debut mixtape, HITstory, which came out in August and thus far, it's pretty epic.

DB is an acquired taste for some but make no mistake that he is one of the best out right now. There's a reason XXX was selected as Spin’s #1 rap release of 2011; Pitchfork ranked it two spots ahead of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne. Spin also named him the rap artist of the year in 2011.

Oh and I forgot about GOOD Music's new collab, Cruel Winter. I'd probably toss it into the above average category, since Cruel Summer was average to me and I'm expecting this follow-up to be better.

Compilation albums always tend to suck. I have no expectations this time. And I didn't see it posted anywhere, but it looks like Born Sinner will be pushed back.

"Born Sinner" and its Jan. 28, 2013 release date were announced online earlier this month, although the follow-up to his 2011 debut "Cole World: The Sideline Story" may be hitting stores after that date, which doubles as the rapper's birthday. "In a perfect world, I'll shoot for January 28," says Cole, "but even when I released that, honestly I knew that was very far-fetched."
