the rumored length of the suspension that I've heard, if true, is laughable tho.

This. The reason for Hallsy facing punishment is that he crossed a line. I come on here for fun, to enjoy the place. Not to see the face of a pedophile and be reminded of it. I don't want to see that and I shouldn't have to see it. I don't know that he's posting that, I don't know why he did. It's not funny, it's immature. It's not a joke, it's sick.

Hey, I don't disagree, but if he's suspended I think everyone else that's making those type of jokes is too.

They're setting a pretty weird standard: if people don't like you, you get suspended.

That too. I don't understand why we didn't do another fine or something when Banack made that joke in his suspension thread. I don't understand why we don't do it when people make all the stupid jokes. I can understand a lot of them are harmless, but we have to keep that stuff off the boards. It started off very low key and escalated to this. Time to stop acting like Goodell and start being proactive about things.

Which also, I didn't actually think of suspension. I thought of a posting ban and a fine. So obviously, I'm kind of a step back from people here. But, whatever gets the message across that this isn't tolerated for ANYONE is what we need to do.

EDIT: And before Banack comes after me about "quit talkin about me" blah blah blah. It's the first one that comes to mind. Only other I thought of was possibly Frank, but I can't remember a specific joke of his as of right now.

I don't think it's that, I think it's that making a joke, and making a visual depiction of something are two different things. I can't say anything specifically until I see what the punishment is, but at that point I think it'll be open to discussion.
