1) How did you find us?
I can't even tell you. I was down a random, hockey related, google rabbit-hole. I stumbled here.

2) Is the the site easy to navigate as a newcomer?
Only thanks to the welcome PM I was sent. I wasn't sure what I was looking at until I followed some of the links in it.

3) Did you have any trouble creating your player? No! That was actually really simple thanks to the tools provided. Excellent guidance. I also had the help of those who offered to let me PM them any questions.

4) Did you use the video/written tutorial when creating your player? If yes, did it help?
I used the explanation of the different attributes to make decisions. Then gained more insight beyond that from another goalie.

5) What would you like to do while waiting for the SMJHL Draft?(Example: Prospect Tournament)
I'd just like to participate in whatever there is to participate in. I think I definitely want to wait for the draft, even though I've heard players can still be signed to the SMJHL post-trade deadline. I want the full experience from start to finish! I want to improve and make a mark.

6) Give us one suggestion to make this site easier on new members.
I'm not sure I have any. As long as a player is willing to take a look around, and make use of the offers to ask questions, it works quite well as is.

on a scale of 1 to 10, about a 6. the PM with the important links for rookies is very help

I used the written since the links were already in it as to where I needed to post, etc

the tournaments is a fine idea and I would like to see a couple of them as well as allowing the new players to take a turn being a gm and drafting the prospect tourney teams especially since I would like to be a gm down the road

a little more communication out of the gate especially after what is going to happen once my player is created...would have like to gotten approved before the season end and gotten on a team before the playoffs

I was looking for a Hockey simulator and came across Eastside Hockey Manager. opened up a thread and saw someone wrote about this game.

After you do some exploring it is but every now and then I get confused

Yeah it took me about three hours or so. I was watching the tutorial video and I was getting confused. So much to do first time creating one

yeah without it I'd be lost but it would be nice to have a page with all the links and need to do stuff to create a player

The Prospect Tournament sounds as it would give us rookies a chance to play and get to know one another maybe. It also would be a good idea to add the skill competition that is if you dont already have it

Keep as entertained and active. the more you give us to do the more committed players there will be.

I was a little bit confused with my first visit, but when you start navigating on the site, it become very easy.

No its very easy

I used the written tutorial, and yes with that it become a very easy task.

yeah maybe the prospect tournament could be a good idea!

A little bit of cleaning maybe, sometime it can become confusing for new member in all these posts

Fairly straightforward. There are a lot of sub-forums and things like that, so it was a little difficult to navigate at the start. Once I spent some time exploring the site, it was much easier.

3) Did you have any trouble creating your player?
Nope, the process was well explained and easy to do.

4) Did you use the video/written tutorial when creating your player? If yes, did it help?
I found the video tutorial extremely helpful. It introduced me to a number of different aspects of the site, and cleared up the update process quite a bit.

5) What would you like to do while waiting for the SMJHL Draft?(Example: Prospect Tournament)
I'm not quite sure, a prospect tournament sounds interesting.

6) Give us one suggestion to make this site easier on new members.
I think the process of updating a player could be explained a little better. There were a number of different explanation pages, so I had to have a number of tabs open and it was a little tough to navigate.

Probably just make everything easier to find like the schedules and teams. Everything seems a bit complicated making things difficult to find.

I literally googled simulation hockey and it's the first thing that popped up.

It was a little difficult at first but then it all seemed to click pretty good. I read everything before I joined.

No, I read all the rules before I joined so I had a good idea what I was supposed to do.
