So if we miss the memo that a player was called up and we leave him in our lines we are punished? But there's no punishment for a GM who fails to notify us?

there will be shl punishments, i'm waiting to work out the details a little better.
SMJHL GM's won't be punished for playing someone if the SHL GM does not do all of the following:
- PM the SMJHL GM
- Post in the callups/senddowns thread

This, figured it was obvious but I'm not in the habit of punishing people for stuff out of their control.

Why would that be obvious ? All OP said was if SMJHL GMs mess up they get punished. There was no implication that SHL GMs had to carry any responsibility for their actions.

Not a big issue, but it's happened enough that it needs to be addressed. Also let's not forget that the SMJHL doesn't reward every team with the playoffs anymore, so those games in which a player shouldn't be playing in the SMJHL could prove to be crucial.

See, top part of message.
I am in no way responsible for the SHL, however, bojo also posted that they would be held responsible

Can we make it so that the co-GMs must be PM'd as well? I don't want a head GM to come back from a brief absence (vacation, illness, what have you) and find out that their team is getting punished bc the co- they left to oversee things didn't also get a memo re: a call-up.
