This very looks very good, hoping to see more updates about it. A Self-hosted site is faster and more accessible then a share hosted one, from the experience that I have personally.

I hate change also and love the old site including the look and skins, but seems like this is going to happen regardless and I understand why. If it does, I would request we please try and get a skin similar to Shadows (NoNav) which I know is popular among older users.

I have one very real question/concern though..

I'm hoping to transfer a lot of the emojis, but it's a manual job after the conversion. Pretty sure we can bring your drum dragon over. Wink

As for the skins, so far it's just Ava and I trying to get them looking decent, we are working on two basic skins to start, but there's nothing to stop us from expanding on that. If we get other volunteers with some experience in it we can do even more.

Thanks, I commend the work you guys are doing. Yeah that dragon drum is actually very important to the team, so it's kind of must-have for us if we do make the move, appreciate it. I would love to help out, just don't really have much experience in that department.

MyBB has been going since 2001- we're focusing on skins that make the forums look like they were designed in 2018, for now, but there are plenty of much older looking ones that we can install. Have a look through here and see if there's anything similar that we can chuck in, and it shouldn't require much more than a couple minutes to install it. Smile

I updated everyone to be on the dark skin for now. Still lots of work to come to get it looking nice, but it's less plain than the default we were showing. I'm also working on the light skin, but it's a work in progress.
