So just like my last one, I conducted the data like my S43, so just the similar hours into copying tpe and making data, and organizing it into data for me to analyze, so… Here to goes I hope you like it
Alright, to start this off, I had everyone's TPE when they got drafted, their final TPE up to this day, and the TPE earned through the weeks. Some notable mentions is Takehiko Yukimura Bernard Brendorowski, Aaron Freakin Rome, Seth McKinnon, and Nick Mckee are all newer to the site, joining late into the season, so that's why they don't have a high TPE change, if any. The average TPE Gained was 29 TPE, so you can look at yourself and see where you are.
That being said some of the best tpe earners is as follows, Poopity Scoop, Ola Wagstrom, Willy Mack, and Crutch Crutchfield are above 60 tpe earned since the beginning of the draft.
For the top 5 tpe in total, here they are in order Xena 250 Tauras Karazija 244 Bernard Freeman 243 Ola Wagstrom 232 Poopity Scoop 230
Looking at S43 at around that time, this is it.
(S43) Center - Leshaun King TPE: 249 King (S43) Center - Carlo Russo TPE: 241 Beaty (S43) Right Wing - Crush Cile TPE: 238 Wally (S43) Left Wing - Philipp Winter TPE: 237 RomanesEuntDomus (S43) Left Wing - Ignatius Blunt TPE: 235 Gaia Mormont You see King and Xena almost tied in TPE, with Tauras with higher TPE than Carl Russo. But looking at the rest S43 was certainly a lot closer tpe wise than S44
This Chart above is the TPE earned through the rank that they got drafted. So when looking at this chart, this is one that people should look at to see who's a “Bust so Far”
So immediately looking at this, you can see Antonio Calculon is a bust, just as he did not update since he got drafted. Then from him all the way to Dean Colt III, at least everyone updated, until the only Goalie, marc McFleury, who hasn't updated since joining the league. The late round steals right now are Kristers Dzeime, and Brock Nuck, for the teams that drafted them.
So this a histogram of the TPE of the S44 class, as you can see a ton of people are in between 155-174, not looking good for the draft class with struggling Inactivity. But other than that, you can see the most people are around 193-231 tpe, which is very respectable tpe count. Good on your guys. And then you see some outliers in the 240 - 250 range.
TPE PER TEAM Just some note to have before looking at the teams. This is the Average TPE per team Anchorage 192.29 Colorado 176.75 Detroit 204.86 Halifax 203 Kelowna 173.40 Montreal 211.25 St Louis 199.67 Whalers 225.75 Team Average: 198.37
Just taking a quick look, the Whalers are looking great again for the second season in the row, along with Detroit and Halifax.
ANCHORAGE
Team - TPE Stolp Skottson 192 Dean Colt III 204 Chase McAllister 155 Maurice Amin 209 Xena 250 Phoenix Kississippi 162 Takehiko Yukimura 174 Average TPE: 192.29
So Looking into Anchorage, they did pretty good in the draft. They drafted the best TPE earner in the draft so far, with Xena, they drafted great in that sense. They also drafted well in Dean Colt II and Maurice Amin, with some people coming up behind them wil Stolp and Takeiko. Their average tpe is 1 tpe below the average, pretty good for them.
COLORADO
Jean-Pierre Gay 224 AJ Robertson 163 Keegan Angello 165 Zach Holt 155 Average TPE: 176.25
I am going to call them the S43 Kelowna knights, as they drafted 4 people ,and only 1 was still active. I think people can contribute this to new Management under Carbine, which is a little troubling for Colorado, as 2 of their veterans are requesting a trade.
DETROIT
Chuck Crutchfield 223 Poopity Scoop 230 Ola Wagstrom 232 Waffles Man 202 Franz Cooper 226 Tomas Youngholm 155 Aaron Freaking Rome 166 Riley Rush 189 Average TPE: 204
Detroit drafted 7 players this draft, and for the most part they had a very successful draft. It also helps by them signing Aaron Freaking Rome and Riley Rush to round them out. But they have some great players Like Ola Wagstrom, and Poopity Scoop getting above 230 tpe so far, both in top 5 tpe in the class. Their average of 204 is higher than the league average, and is a good indicator of what detroit can be if their S43 players stay another season or 2.
HALIFAX
Rainbow Dash 224 Ray Bork 223 Mikael Choybuk 219 Mister McCarty 204 Kristers Dzelme 193 Bernard Brendorowski 155
I would like to say the same thing about Halifax the same with Detroit, as they drafted some great players. Players like rainbow Dash, Ray Bork, and Mikael Choybuk leading the charge for them, with Mister McCarty and Kristers Dzelme raising up as well. A very strong core to lead them.
KELOWNA
Shouta Aizawa 199 Scott Neidermayer Jr. 210 Mark McFleury 161 Pavel Volkov 161 Spazzy McFee 175 Gints Krumins 163 Shawnomir Jagr 155 Casey Matz 155 Seth McKinnon 161 Nick McKee 194 Average TPE: 173.9
Kelowna for the 2nd time this season, cant seem to draft great players. Their only tpe over 200 is Scott Neidermayer, and people who are close are SHouta Aizawa and Nick McKee. The rest are slowly moving their way up or inactive, which isn't great. But Shouta Aizawa should turn out to be a good pick, as he is a very consistent player in his last player.
MONTREAL Derek Bohne 215 Willy Mack 219 Willie Fisterbottom 215 Dinārs Briedis 196 Average TPE: 211
Montreal has also done really good with this draft, as they drafted 4 players, with 3 being over 200 tpe, and 1 very close to 200. Just like last season, not stand out players, but together they pose a very dangerous threat, if there was a dark horse for the cup this year, Montreal would be my pick, as their team last season is doing very well.
ST LOUIS
Bernard Freeman 243 Antonio Calculon 163 Jerry Larry 197 Airi Yamaguchi 171 Roger Baston 197 Brock Nuck 227 Average TPE: 199
Also above the average, St Louis drafted pretty well too. Getting Bernard Freeman is also paying off, as he has 243 tpe, as well as having some players almost reaching 200 tpe, it will be good for St Louis as they are trying to bulk up before heading into the playoffs, and they could match up against the Whalers in the finals.
By Far, Vancouver had the best draft so far. With everyone single one of their prospects already hitting 200 tpe, it is not doubt in my mind that vancouver looked better this year than last year. Combined with Tauras Karaziji, Shaquille, and Lillie Jacobs over 220 tpe, and Barret McCarthy over 200 tpe, they have a solid foundation to help offset the veterans leaving next season.
OVERALL
This is all of them on a graph. You can see Whalers are head and shoulders above everyone else, with Montreal behind, and then Detroit and Halifax right above 200 tpe.
CENTERS For Centers, you can see that this graph is actually pretty exponential, with there are some people being better than the rest, Xena and Shaquille, and then a lot of people below 170 tpe. And then people within 190-210 range.
LEFT WINGERS Compared to last year, there wasn't a lot of people in this draft class this seasons that are Left Wingers. But what they lack in quantity, they make up for in a linear way. Most of them are in the range of 200 - 225, which is pretty good. But I imagine in this draft, Defensemen and Centers are drafted more than wingers.
RIGHT WINGERS Just Like Left wingers, but the Right Wingers are better in terms of TPE. You have people like Bernard Freeman, Ola Wagstrom leading their overall tpe, and then have people like Brock Nuck, Franz Cooper, and LIllie Jacobs all a couple points away from each other. Should be interesting on how this turns out,
Defenseman This is where it gets interesting, as there is a ton of defensemen this draft. Starting at the top, Tauras Karazjia is the highest out of them, and then there a ton of people in between 230 - 215 tpe, Defensemen should be going like hot cakes this draft, as there are so many and are a lot in quality and quantity.
FINANCES Rainbow Dash $208,473,750.00 Bernard Freeman $59,280,000.00 Mister McCarty $47,150,000.00 Jean-Pierre Gay $44,354,750.00 Phoenix Kississippi $41,564,217.00 Shaquille Derisraka $36,492,000.00 Brock Nuck $30,515,000.00 Tauras Karazija $29,650,000.00 Willie Fisterbottom $26,274,953.00 Ray Bork $17,020,000.00 Poopity Scoop $15,184,000.00 Willy Mack $13,975,000.00 Xena $10,100,000.00 Shouta Aizawa $9,675,000.00 Dean Colt III $8,300,000.00 Maurice Amin $7,000,000.00 Barret McCarthy $6,250,000.00 Mikael Choybuk $5,450,000.00 Ola Wagstrom $4,300,000.00 Jerry Larry $4,000,000.00 Lillie Jacobs $3,875,000.00 Airi Yamaguchi $3,600,000.00 Scott Niedermayer Jr. $3,509,000.00 Roger Baston $3,450,000.00 Keegan Angello $3,350,000.00 Tomas Youngholm $3,000,000.00 Antonio Calculon $3,000,000.00 Casey Matz $3,000,000.00 Chase McAllister $3,000,000.00 Waffles Man $2,575,000.00 Kristers Dzelme $2,500,000.00 Stolp Skottson $2,000,000.00 Chuck Crutchfield $1,197,500.00 Dinārs Briedis $600,000.00 Shawnomir Jagr $500,000.00 Derek Bohne $400,000.00 Takehiko Yukimura $0.00 Pavel Volkov $0.00 Bernard Brendorowski $0.00 Riley Rush $0.00 Mark McFleury $0.00 AJ Robertson $0.00 Seth McKinnon $0.00 Franz Cooper $0.00 Nick Mckee $0.00 Spazzy McFee $0.00 Gints Krumins -$10,000.00 Aaron Freakin Rome -$500,000.00 So this graph is on Log Scale mainly because Eggy(fuck you) has 200 Mil dollars in his bank account. So there is a ton of space in between eggy and everyone else.
So you can see a ton of people dont have a lot of money, which will be a problem in the future, especially when SHL teams cant pay people a ton of money, that could see people stagnate or become inactive when that happens. So it will be interesting to see how that happens in the future.
As you can see, a ton are a 0%, meaning a lot didnt update at all once getting drafted. Up at 20% are a kid that just joined, so he updated all at once, so he went from 155 to 194 tpe. But you can mostly see that updating is kinda linear throughout.
Okay so the change in week 1, with training and all the jazz reached 17.29%, which is great, and then they evened out with 4.45% and 4.73%, which I hope becomes consistent and levels out from there. But with 0% factored into it, its around 2.3%, which is still good. It will be interesting to see how this comes out by the end of the season.
Well that is all from me folks, I hope you like it if you weren't a name on this list. And if you are a name on this list, you can compare yourselves to your classmates and see where you are in your draft class, whether to motivate you or to want to you do better. Thank you.
You guys should have a good future, and good luck in the SHL draft.
