I think part of the problem is that you guys straight up say the decision and don't actually walk through why you made the choice you did. I think people would shit on HO less if we understood the process you guys went through when making decisions.

It wasn’t an easy choice.

It's not about shitting on anyone, more about caring about your team - bringing an outsider, that has a history with some of the members, to a team with multiple internal candidates, including obvious to almost everyone present co-GM. You can't expect a good reaction for that. He will also have to be traded from his current team in a costly deal, one could argue if even needed for the current course of the franchise. Wolfpack Locker Room is really unique and not factoring bonds that make the team go might prove to be a costly omission.

I’m not going to lie, this summer I was definitely not as around as usual due to preparing for college and making the most outta my time with HS buddies, but I did make that clear to people involved. That being said I said in my app I was ready to step down as commish to dedicate as much time to my team as possible. I’m really disappointed that HO decided the best option for New England was to install a Co-GM from another team when Toivo and I have been building the core we have now for multiple seasons, and I had support from the actual people on the team. Just doesn’t make sense to me to think that that was the best option.
