Winnipeg Jets star defenseman Troy McClure III was caught and arrested after game 2 of the S43 SHL Challenge Cup Finals. TM3 was reported seeking “Local Talent”. The arresting officer wrote on the arrest report that Troy was “looking for the most ungodly of acts to be performed upon him. He already had 9 of his 12 seats filled in his 12 passenger van. Later found and appeared in court was the receipts to 4 conjoining rooms in the sleetiest of “Pay by the Hour” motel. 2 of the rooms on the first level, the other two on the second level. When we got the opportunity to speak with Troy he had this to say, “What can I say I’m a ladies man, some ladies need a little bit of green influence other just want the ability to say they’ve met the one and only TM3.” At this time we are unsure if TM3 will be able to play in Game 3. Wednesday - w/ TM3 1) What do you have to say for your actions after getting arrested? I wasn't sure why they even arrested me. I'm not sure what I did was illegal, I think we are just having a cultural issue here. The state I'm from, this is legal. That state is the state of arousal btw. 2) How does your GM, Flappy, feel about this? Flappy was in the lower hotel room, but he was too much of a chicken shit to answer the door when the manager showed up. I was going to show him what frito pie really means. 3) What can WPG do to win the cup next season? I think we were victims of some bad bounces, and staying the course is the best action. We had a great season even though I had a very bad showing. But i'm only getting better. Which player on either team is most deserving of winning a championship? After his shenanigans in Game 2 TM3 is the most deserving player to win a championship. Although he may not of won one this season he is due. If he would of won a challenge cup as a rookie that would of put him in a rare boat that not many players have to their name. What young player has a chance to make a name for themself in this series? TM3 was promised a championship as a rookie by the management staff. Should he have won one right off the bat to begin his career it would have been the only thing that he would have to make a name for himself. And knowing Troy he would have held on to this FOREVER. Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy? In terms of legacy WKP needed this championship more. Having won their first championship in a long time last season, following up this season is helping cement the current dynasty that their management is trying to establish. If they can get one or two more here soon. they will cement their legacy. Thursday ![]() ![]() Bonus: Ludwig Koch Schroder and Jon Ross Shout out to ml002, schultzy, slashacm, tedward!

Luke Thomason and Andrew Warren found themselves in hot water after a late-night gaming session went off the rails. The two players were playing Fortnite in to the wee hours of Monday morning, when two police officers knocked on their door responding to a noise complaint. Despite the police explaining that they were here to investigate sounds of gun shots and loud, unintelligible screaming--English is neither of the player's first language--the players refused to stop playing the game. This disobedience is what eventually led to the arrests. In the end, however, this unfortunate event can all be chopped up to a misunderstanding and ultimately the language barrier. Thomason and Warren explained that they thought the cops were infact strippers and that they were being pranked by teammates. In response, the league is considering a Fortnite ban, while the Whalers maintain that this was merely a miscommunication and that they would rather have the players playing in the rooms than roaming the streets at night. All charges have been dropped by law enforcement. ![]() ![]() IIHF Federation Head Not a Commissioner. Shh!

Jets, Platoon Battle of temperature, tensions are high Challenge Cup on the line, Who will get by? 158 Words of flaming hot garbage. Task #5: Which player on either team is most deserving of winning a championship? Despite being a rookie this season, Troy McClure III is the most deserving player for winning a championship. After a rough go in juniors with Colorado and being upset in the playoffs in his final season, McClure is deserving of a shot to lift a trophy this season and hopefully he and Winnipeg get that chance this year. What young player has a chance to make a name for themselves in this series? This is going to sound repetitive, but it's going to be McClure III again. He had an incredibly successful SMJHL career individually, but his first year with the Jets has been disappointing by his standards. If he can turn it up in this series, he'll carve a spot out in SHL lore. Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy? West Kendall definitely needs this win more than the Jets do for their overall legacy. For West Kendall, a Challenge Cup win this season would show that their S42 Championship wasn't a fluke. The Jets also have more young players and a questionably deeper prospect pool, and they will have this chance again. Task #2 ![]() The SHL is highly disappointed in the actions of Winnipeg Jets defenseman Gary Grease. His actions in the Tim Horton’s restaurant and café down the street from the home arena of the Jets are abhorrent and no human should ever have to witness the carnage that was undertaken in that location. On Wednesday morning, Winnipeg PD was called to the location to respond to a large male who had reportedly worked himself behind the counter, was eating several hundred powdered donuts and throwing the remainder at the random people in the store. This male was defenseman Gary Grease. Several people were reportedly injured by the thrown donuts and the store had several dozen dollars in damage from the donuts. Grease has been banned from this particular store but the Tim Horton’s corporation has thanked Grease for his drawing attention to their stores as stock prices have increased in the time since this morning. - Which player on either team is most deserving of winning a championship? Beaujeaux is clearly the most deserving of a championship in this series. Hes one of the most hard working members of the west kendall platoon and has been longer than most people have been on the site. Hes the new L4E basically. Not only that but the goalie has been playing lights out and clearly really wants this cup. The jets are a great team but beaujeaux wants it enough and deserves it the most. - Who is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why? West Kendall is the favorite because they have the hot goalie. The series is already over but i thought this before. The way they just shut down the stampede in the 2nd round was incredible, and this looks like one of the most powerful teams weve seen in the playoffs in a long time. Its pretty incredible what theyve been able to accomplish this season, and I have no doubt theyll win. - Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why? The first is jason visser, this guy just claps bombs and fucks moms. Hes incredible, best player to ever hit the shl and if he can get scoring, its all over. The 2nd is crossfit jesus. He does so much crossfit, the defenders just cant keep up with his incredible moves. Plus he can walk on water. Last is beaujeaux. Hes lights out and top 5 goalie of all time Task 9: We are just an hour away from the start of the challenge cup finals and you have been informed that Katy Perry has the gout and can not perform during the 1st intermission... YIKES!!!!!! ... to make matters worse Eggy and HO are not around to approve more money for a differant act! You have been chosen to take on the unenviable task of putting together something which the whole world is about to watch ...with nothing but the 11 dollars in your pocket. Alright so first off with the eleven dollars i go to the stoor and get as much everclear as i can. Or i jsut go buy isopropyl alcohol. And i buy a box of tampons. Next i go to everyone on the buffalo stampede and say hey guys lets go play music. Even though none of us have before. Im assuming the instruments for katy perrys show are still on stage. So we get to the stage and soak the tampons in everclear. Then we all shove one up our but and boof the shit outta that stuff. Anyway were all hammered and we go get some hobos to hype us up. Walkers on the drums, metzler on the bass, lavelle on the keyboard, myself as lead, and maffs just finishing off the everclear bottle out in front. I think we could come up with something but if not wed have the instrumental for africa by toto queueed up adn ready to go for us to play over. Task 7 :
![]() Task 6: ![]() Luckily the teams in this year's championship series synergize pretty well for a mascot. This is General Byrd, a long-time air force veteran famous for piloting fighter jets. In addition to his cute exterior that hides a soul that has truly seen some shit, fans love him because he flies around the arena in an inflatable "jet," handing out t-shirts and army registration forms. Task 9: With the news that Katy Perry had dropped out, we seemed to be up shit's creek with a cement block tied to our ankles. However, a member of our production team made the comment that saved all of our asses: what if we made the crowd the entertainment? And what a genius suggestion it was. What gets your average white people more fired up at a hockey game than anything else? Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond. The plan was this: we'd trot an older looking dude out to centre ice with a microphone and claim is was Neil Diamond, knowing full well that nobody knows what the hell Neil Diamond actually looks like. At this point, he'd begin singing the classic song for a few notes, before turning the microphone to the crowd. At this point, the cameras would be focusing in on people jamming out the hardest, with prizes to be won. It was such a success, nobody even remembered that Katy Perry was supposed to be there. I kept the $11 for myself and treated myself to a beer at the overpriced concession stand for a job well done. ![]() Task 2: The SHL has this morning learned of an incident taking place last night involving Crossfit Jesus of the Winnipeg Jets. The events, as they have been described to us, are as follows: according to police reports, Jesus walked into a bar alongside a group of friends consisting of a rabbi, an imam, and a Buddhist monk. Upon the group's entry, a bartender asked the group if "this was some kind of [expletive] joke," which resulted in Jesus instigating a fistfight with the bartender. After continued altercations with both the bartender and bouncers at the establishment, Jesus and his followers left the bar before police could arrive. When Jesus was finally accosted by police, he was leaving a prominent local sex club with two companions dressed in full-body leather gimp suits. We have decided not to apply supplemental discipline at this time, as we have not stopped laughing since we heard the news and the puck has since dropped. ![]() Task 5: a) I think it can easily be argued that Zach Evans is one of the most deserving players in the entire league of a championship. A classy elder statesman of the SHL, he's given his whole career to the Jets and it would be a wholesome sight to see him celebrate a storied career with a cup win for one of the most rabid fanbases in the world. b) In terms of cementing their legacy, a championship would be most crucial to the Jets. A perennially strong team that could never quite get over the hump and has watched geographical rivals see success, a cup win would spell a massive amount of jubilation and relief for the Jets fans, players, and organization. West Kendall is a surprise contender in the midst of a cinderella run, but the Jets are at this point only missing a championship to confirm that all of their hard work in past seasons has been worth it in the end. c) I think it goes without saying that the Jets are the favourites in this series after a President's Trophy win. On the other hand, West Kendall would have finished 7th in the Western Conference and missed the playoffs. However, we're witnessing a cinderella story for the ages and the lowest seeded team in the playoffs will be taking on the highest for all the marbles. At the end of the day, will West Kendall's confidence overcome the depth of Winnipeg? We'll have to wait and see. Bonus: Ludwig Koch Schroder and Jon Ross ![]() Registered Posting Freak
PBE PT for one task
Task 5: Newspapers and bloggers are covering the event all across the globe and they are looking for information to post to their readers! Pick 3 of the topics below to write about! Each topic is worth 1 TPE. Each answer must be 50 words or more. - What young player has a chance to make a name for themself in this series? Troy McClure III could be a real difference maker for Winnipeg in the series. He's a new presence up in the SHL but was a big-time force in the SMJHL for several seasons previously, earning a reputation as a hard-hitter and being a desirable trade piece when his original team decided to rebuild. He may not put up the points but will definitely strike fear into the Platoon. - Who has been there teams surprise player in the post season? Gabriel Wong only picks up third line minutes for the Platoon, but has been a big part of the team's scoring throughout the playoffs. Wong couldn't quite match most of the top forwards on the team but was really dang close and an equal contributor to the likes of star defenseman Ludwig Koch Shroder. - Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why? Dani Forsberg is equally dangerous laying out the opposition and putting big point totals on the board for the Platoon. Beaujeaux Biscuit can really shut down the Jets with both his glove and pads and is a threat for a shutout every night. Pietra Volkova basically fills Dani's role for Winnipeg but might be even better and has had a really impressive playoffs overall. Task 9: We are just an hour away from the start of the challenge cup finals and you have been informed that Katy Perry has the gout and can not perform during the 1st intermission... YIKES!!!!!! ... to make matters worse Eggy and HO are not around to approve more money for a differant act! In 150 words or more, explain what you came up with and how will it be implamented. The Plan must include a diagram or picture. Step 1 is to to go the nearest convenience store and pick up a whole bunch of water bottles - 11 dollars worth to be precise. See below for the visual example. Step 2 is to round up any and all SHL players not on the Jets or Platoon that are attending the game, along with their spouses and the spouses of any Jets or Platoon players. Step 3 is to remind them of emergency clause 42 in their contracts, which allows the SHL the right to use them for intermission entertainment in the event of specifically a Katy Perry cancellation. Step 4 is to put on a large wet t-shirt contest with said players and spouses - hopefully they were all wearing shirts to begin with. Step 5 the audience cheers, crisis averted. Step 6 is to send the angry and cold players and spouses home to dry off and warm up and thank them for their services. ![]() Registered S36 Challenge Cup Champion

- Which player on either team is most deserving of winning a championship? I will always say Zach Evans. If the question was “who is most deserving of getting punched in the balls?” the answer would still be the same. Zach deserves all the good things that could come his way, and all of the bad things as well. I love this guy, but I also hate him since he is a Jet. - Who is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why? I am riding pretty high on the Jets horse right now, I know, but I still think they are the favorite. They have been in this situation multiple times. This roster is comfortable with the stress and they understand what is at stake. They may be getting hammered with regression, but I think they have enough left in the tank for one more solid run. - Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy? I want to say the Jets. The reality is that the team has almost aged out of relevance. I think that one more championship would cement them as one of the more dominant franchises over the last 10-15 seasons. If they lose, they will always be remembered as a great team, but it will take a win for them to go down as one of the best franchises in history. Doing this on the SMJHL as I know that more
![]() Monday/Promotions: Verse: Here we come, the Whalers from the Couve, Stepping up with a lot to prove, Losing last year's Four-Star, damn that hurt, In skates Leitner now it's time to work. Chorus: We are the champions, yeah No doubt about it we won We are the champions, yeah Season 43 sees the Whalers rise again! We ain't crows, we weren't afraid of St. Louis, All we had to do was skate out and do us, Scarecrows looking weak, I mean their goalie is Cain, Maybe it'd be different IF THEY ONLY HAD A BRAIN. Chorus: We are the champions, yeah No doubt about it we won We are the champions, yeah Season 43 sees the Whalers rise again! The offense is fresh, the defense locks down their guy Takshak, McCarthy, and Moore, oh my I know what you're thinking, maybe next year we can win Leitner coming back homie, the Whalers rise again. Chorus: We are the champions, yeah No doubt about it we won We are the champions, yeah Season 44 will see the Whalers rise again! Tuesday/Scandals: Being widely known as the bad man goalie of the SMJHL, Johannes Leitner was seen partying outside a St. Louis strip club prior to Game 4 of the Four-Star Cup series. There have been reports that Luke Thomason and Andrew Martin were both with the Austrian goaltender at the club and their activity may have been questionable. They were reportedly seen in the back room with a couple of ladies and an unidentified white powder with them. The league is currently looking into this as it takes a no drug policy and the investigation on whether it was cocaine is ongoing and should conclude sometime in the off-season. The team has heard about the incident and has issued a statement. "We are aware of the investigation and are working with our players and the league in order to take the next necessary steps and correct course of action. The players say it was pixy-stik dust and not cocaine or any drug and for now we have to trust in our players and the investigators to conclude otherwise." The team did end up losing game 4 and one wonders if the late-night partying was a big factor into the Whalers losing a game to the inferior scarecrows. Wednesday/Media Day Task 5: Which player is more deserving of the championship? Everyone on the Whalers is most deserving of a championship but the veterans definitely are deserving of this one. After a few years of finishing with the Laurifer Trophy, the team was seeking a win in the SMJHL's biggest series. The team suffered a crushing defeat in last year's championship against Kelowna and now back, the team is hungry to win. For Johannes Leitner specifically, he only got to play one game last season and saw starter Greg Santos struggle to keep the puck out of the net in the last games. He was hoping to get a shot after he heroically led them to a win but now it is his chance to prove that he belongs as a champion netminder. Which young player has a chance to make a name for himself? Going back and because I know the most about him and his situation, Johannes Leitner has a tremendous chance to make a name for himself. Once lauded as a top goalie, the media blew a fuse when Leitner was selected 16th overall in the Season 43 SHL Entry Draft saying that it was way too high to take a player like Leitner. I think New England can rest easy knowing their star goaltender of the future now has championship pedigree and is progressing along nicely. Vancouver is happy to have him and New England will also in the near future. Who is the favorite and underdog? I think obviously the Whalers were the favorite after winning the Laurifer trophy in the regular season. The Whalers featured 3 lines of capped players and a 4th that was nearing that and the defense while not as strong was pretty close and featured a dominant first line of Moore and Takshak. The young defense would be tested but overall the team was just stacked on offense, defense and at goalie. The Scarecrows might have been the favorite against anyone else but Vancouver was too strong. The Scarecrows also featured a terrific team but had less capped players and even though capped, an inferior goalie. They were the underdogs and performed as such. Thursday/Marketing and Graphics: ![]() Blubber Nuggets being sold by the St.Louis Scarecrows. The Nuggets feature Whale, battered in flour with original St. Louis seasoning and fried in Whale Oil. The hope is that these will sell to those Rabid fans that are looking for the Scarecrows to devour their competition. ![]() "Hay Fever" is on as Vancouver is selling edible hay to fans during home games in the Four Star Cup. The hay is actual hay gathers from local British Columbia farms and features a few different seasonings that mainly features Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Sugar. The Hay has a grainy yet sweet taste and is promoted as being the insides of a scarecrow which was ripped out by the Whalers. Friday/Last Minute Problem! ![]() SO here is the plan. We only have $11 but we could do more with that money. We take it, we turn it into more money and we have fun with it. Maybe we have a bake sale, maybe we have a raffle. We can make money by spending money. Why be limited to just $11 when maybe we can get the fans to raise the extra funds to give them a good show. Get money, hire a better act than Katy Perry, maybe Rob Zombie or something and we all win. In the end, Whalers are worth the admission and people will come to see us. We will find a way somehow to turn the $11 into something spectacular no matter what it takes. I will hold a kissing booth if I have to! INVESTMENTS! INVESTMENTS! INVESTMENTS! Come see the Whalers win, come support the SHL and come turn $11 into more money to get a good show on and off the ice! ![]() ![]() Registered Senior Member

Thought i already wrote task 2 but i guess ill do it again. TASK 2: official statement from SHL: " as many of you know already Zach Evans was arrested the other night as the result of some unfavourable portrayals of himself in public. Zach was celebrating the acomplishent of making it to the finals and had a few drinky-poos. Zach was a little too intoxicated as was made evident by the constant and strong stream of urine that shot down the calgary tower late one night as the team was celebrating atop the tower. The SHL does not condone the actions of Zach Evans, however we are leaving it up to the team to decide to play him or sit him for the final series, to be honest the SHL HO just doesnt have the backbone to make a decision on this due to the heavy implications it will have on the series. We dont want to end up in the thunder dome thread because we wouldnt be able to take the heat, so we are giving up all power on the situation and chosing no to do our jobs, its the best thing for everyone believe us. Task 3: Thanks Zonne for answering my questions! 1) Q: WHat is going through your mind when you realize youre about to win it all? 1) A: The final moments were so tense. You want to be on the ice to shut them down. You don't want to be on the ice in case they score on you. The last few seconds felt like hours. The final buzzer was like a liberation 2) Q:What was the mindset for your entire team going into the final series? going 8-3 to that point you must have been confident? 2) A: The team went into the playoffs with the mindset that we could go far but would not be disappointed if we failed. Then we won our 1st series. And the 2nd series. We came into the finals knowing that we could very well win it all and the confidence that we would. 3) Q: Who was the driving force behind this run for you guys? 3) A: The interesting thing is... each game was a different person that rose up to the occasion. But Beaujeaux Biscuit stood on his head game after game and the team elevated their play to match his energy. Task 5: 1) Jets are my underdog, the platoon have absolutly steam rolled the playoffs this season only losing 3 times. they are on an absolute roll as of late, the Jets on the other hand have had to play in a couple 7 game series' so far this playoff season, so they might be a bit tired, but dont count them out entirely their defence is something to fear, if the platoons offence stalls this series they might be in for a shock. 2) for the team, the platoon really need this shit, theyre already based out of the weridest place on earth and have the most ludacris team name ever so this would at least minimize how terrible and god awful their branding is... Like seriously.. something needs to be done.... lol 3) Troy McClure III has a chance here to let the hockey world know who he is. Very skilled player, not the best in terms of production so far but he has the skill to be there, in a season where there are only 2 teams left and all eyes are on you, you better be ready to come out and kill it. I think a lot of people will know the name Troy McClure III after this. Task 9: Well fuck. Katy perry is a bitch and dropped out. And again HO isnt around to do their jobs... classic...... (dont ban me for jokes) But now were fucked, im just a PT grader and we dont make fuck all, and after buying all my overpriced hockey equipment for next season im left with $11 and i wanted subway so i actually only have $2.50 left..... so uhhhh Fan talent show! fans can some to section e5 to sign up first come first serve the winner gets my $2.50, half my sub, and a white chocolate macidamia nut cookie i have left over from subway, and ill give them tickets to the rest of the finals game cause the PT rules said nothing about be using my personal items as payment. The tickets are my personal seats i was given by the league, i will harass the league for replacement tickets later, but for now this is what were going with and it very well might be a shit show... ![]() Registered Senior Member ![]() Registered S28, S45, S49 Challenge Cup Champion
Task 2: Oh no! scandal has hit championship week here on day 2! as a beat reporter from TMZ obtained the police reports of a highly embarrasing arrest made from one of the players in the challenge cup series!.. In 150 words or more, create an official SHL press report to release to the media with a picture related to the incident, the details of this incident, what player or players were involved and the official reponse of the league.
Day 2 of the challenge cup final is about to kick off and some interesting news regarding one of the players competing has been leaked. It turns out up and coming young super star Troy McClure III was seen on a college campus in West Kendall the night before the big game celebrating with some of his childhood buddies who happened to make the trip out. Troy and a few of his friends got in to an altercation with some of the local Platoon supporters on campus, resulting in a drunken brawl shortly after midnight. Photo below was taken prior to the fight showing Troy having a pretty darn good time. As this is his first offense and was outside of an SHL affiliated location HO has deemed this a minor offense and will only issue a warning. A second occurrence of this nature will result in a fine and potential loss of games. ![]() Task 3: The SHL Network is in need of an interview to broadcast during the challenge cup finals and you have been assigned the task! Contact a player in the upcoming series and have them answer 3 questions (player or series related) Let them know that each answer must be a minimum of 20 words for you to get credit. The player you interview must also be tagged. Today we sit down with none other than the youngster, Karsten Kadinger with the West Kendall Platoon @Allegiant. Karsten, how does it feel to be competing for your second challenge cup so early in your career? - I a word, surreal. When I was drafted by West Kendall I was joining a team that had a history of regular season success, but was mired with post season disappointment. We broke that curse back in S41 and are eager to prove it wasn't a fluke here in S43. Big words from the young defenseman. How do you prepare yourself mentally for big games like this? - A have a typical routine on game day and I stick to it for the most part. It can become a little more difficult on road games, but I find most SHL cities are quite accommodating. Interesting, care to elaborate on this pre-game routine? Does it involve just yourself or have any other teammates bought in? - Now that you mention it new comer Paddy O' jumps in from time to time. I like to eat a nice big breakfast at my favourite place of all time, IHOP. Sometimes there aren't any around and I have to settle on Denny's, but typically I can sniff one out. Afterwards I do a light afternoon skate and a session in the gym to psych myself up. By game time I'm ready to go. Task 5: Newspapers and bloggers are covering the event all across the globe and they are looking for information to post to their readers! Pick 3 of the topics below to write about! Each topic is worth 1 TPE. Each answer must be 50 words or more. - Who is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why? Going back to the regular season it's tough to argue against the undeniable talent level of the Winnipeg Jets. That's not to say the West Kendall Platoon have a few lethal pieces of their own, but the Jets come in as the S43 President Trophy winner by a wide margin and made short work of post season regular in the Calgary Dragons. They can score at will and have one of the stingiest defensive corps in the league. They aren't perfect, but they're damn near close and are my choice for the favourite going in to this matchup. - Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy? While both teams have won the Challenge Cup in the last 10 seasons, I would again have to argue on behalf of the Winnipeg Jets. West Kendall won just 2 seasons ago and despite regular season success are never seen as "that" team in the east. Meanwhile the Jets have been an absolute powerhouse out west for some time now yet have struggled to reclaim the illusive prize since winning it all back in S37. While it won't tarnish their legacy, a second cup with this current core would cement several careers. - Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why? Perhaps two of the biggest super stars in the SHL today are facing off in these finals. Jason Visser of the Winnipeg Jets and Ludwig Koch-Schroder of the West Kendall Platoon. Both heralded as some of the biggest earners in SHL history they'll have an opportunity to prove all their hard work has paid off. Lastly while you typically don't mention a goalie as "dangerous" it hard to deny the success of West Kendall's goaltender Beaujeaux Biscuit. In the last 3 seasons he's been nominated as the top goaltender twice and already has one challenge cup under is belt. He's a proven performer and a big reason the Platoon find themselves in the finals once again. "We the SHL are here to confirmed the allegations surrounding west kendall platoon goaltender Beaujeaux Biscuit. He was part of a bar fight last night, which happened after Biscuit got hammered and started going around the bar telling people terrible puns. After this had been happening for a good while, a group of bar goers had enough and confronted Biscuit. However instead of expressing his remorse for his behaviour he made a pun out of the groups confrontation. It was then that out of no where Biscuit sucker punched one of the group, which in responce jumped on Biscuit. A fight broke out and Biscuit ended up caused a lot of personal and property damage at the sight. The league's official statement is that Biscuit will be sent to a rehabilitation center where he will hopefully be cured of his pun decease. Biscuit will be allowed to finish the challenge cup series beforehand." Quote:Task 5: Newspapers and bloggers are covering the event all across the globe and they are looking for information to post to their readers! Pick 3 of the topics below to write about! Each topic is worth 1 TPE. Each answer must be 50 words or more. Who has been there teams surprise player in the post season? Beaujeaux Biscuit has played some absolutely incredible hockey so far this post season and has clearly been the best goaltender this playoffs. Posting fantastic numbers at a .927 save percentage and a goals against average of 2.29 through out 15 games. The second closest was Fourfour with a .903 save percentage and Artom Zhumbayev with a 2.91 goals against average. West Kendall can be very grateful for Biscuits preformance as they lift the cup this season. Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy? It feels like Winnipeg really needs another cup win to solify their absolutely incredible seasons they have had as of late. A cup in S37 was their last one, but they have been one of the best teams in the league for a while now and could use another cup to really show their dominance. West Kendall has had a cup in more recent years dating back to S41. If West Kendall wants to start a legacy now would be the time to win cups. If they win that's two cups in three seasons, which is nothing to scoff at. Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why? Pietra Volkova has been insane when taking shots this challenge cup run. Rocking a 25.49 shooting percentage is absolutely insane and any goalie will be shaking in their skates when Volkova has the puck and is looking at the net. 13 goals in 17 games is crazy. Crossfit Jesus has been a set up machine this playoff run. With 16 assists under their belt, it shows how crisp their passes have been and how good their overview of the ice has been. Jesus has been a player who can find a player in the most impossible looking places and make it work. Beaujeaux Biscuit, we already touched on Biscuit earlier, but once again do I want to say how great he has been. He is dangerous in the sence that he has the power to completely shutdown your best shooters. He has made some crazy saves and is not showing signs of getting cold any time soon. Quote:Task 3: The SHL Network is in need of an interview to broadcast during the challenge cup finals and you have been assigned the task! Contact a player in the upcoming series and have them answer 3 questions (player or series related) Let them know that each answer must be a minimum of 20 words for you to get credit. The player you interview must also be tagged. For this interview Rafe Ulrich sat down with mister record thief himself Alex Light @Zoone16 What do you feel was a key part in your success in winning the cup this season? We finally got our strategy in order towards the end of the season and carried that moment through the playoffs. How did it feel to lift up your second cup in three seasons? The feeling of winning never changes and it's always good. Winning the cup is like a bad addiction and you keep craving for more. What are you going to do for your day with the cup? Last time I brought it home and shared the day with various charities and hospitals in Montreal. This time around I think it'll be more of a family and friends day with the cup at my parents' place. Quote:Task 9: We are just an hour away from the start of the challenge cup finals and you have been informed that Katy Perry has the gout and can not perform during the 1st intermission... YIKES!!!!!! ... to make matters worse Eggy and HO are not around to approve more money for a differant act! You have been chosen to take on the unenviable task of putting together something which the whole world is about to watch ...with nothing but the 11 dollars in your pocket. ![]() 'The magnificent magician Jeff turning hockey pucks into doves' I was helping out at the challenge cup finals as a volunteer and was having a good time, until suddenly we get a call that Katy Perry cant come and perform. Big oof if you ask me, so the event manager looks and me and just assumes because I`m like a hockey player that I know people. So he shoves 11 dollers (might I add that these were canadian dollars) into my hands and says I have to save the event by arranging an act within an hour. I have a think to try and come up with some kind of replacement, do I know any local performers? I check my phone and notice a number I got while trying to arrange an act for the birthday of the kid of the montreal chairman. I shrug and give it a call, ask him if he can come to the ice hockey arena within an hour and give us the performance of a life time. The performer is actually in the area and can make it. Excellent I think to myself. After a small while a black van drives into the parking lot and we help him get all his stuff inside. The 1st intermission is about to start and we have finally got everything set up. The players leave the ice and the stadium announcer announces the act. "Ladies and gentleman please put your hands together for the magnificent magician Jeff. Jeff comes out onto the rink and starts doing all kinds of wild magic shit. Then came his final act, he was going to perform a giant disappearing act. A giant cloud of smoke appeared, the magician stepped out and said 'I have just make the Winnipeg Jets chances of winning a game in this series disapear'. He runs back into the cloud, the cloud settles down and he's gone. The van is gone, the building feels erie. Then the Jets got swept in the series, maybe I called in a magician who performed black magic and curses... BREAKING NEWS OUT OF WINNIPEG: On the eve of the SHL Finals Jason Visser, star player for the Jets, has been arrested after getting into scrap with Calgary Dragons notorious Poon Hound Alex Mack. The details are murky at best currently, but from what we can gather from witnesses on the ground, the fight broke out after Visser took offense to Mack's advances on his mother. This is something that insiders in Calgary have told us has happened in the past with Mack, apparently he has a thing for players mothers. We do not have any video of what took place, but our video editors have put together a package of what it may have looked like. The Winnipeg Jets front office will not comment on the status of Visser for the SHL Championship. Alex Mack nor Jason Visser were available for comment about the incident. The SHL has given us a quote regarding the issue: Since this issue has taken place on the eve of the SHL Championship, Jason Visser status will not be determined until he has had his day in court. We are not the judge or jury in reference to criminal matters. If and when the criminal issue is cleared up, then the SHL will revisit. Task 5: Newspapers and bloggers are covering the event all across the globe and they are looking for information to post to their readers! Pick 3 of the topics below to write about! Each topic is worth 1 TPE. Each answer must be 50 words or more. - Which player on either team is most deserving of winning a championship? There isn't a more deserving player to win a championship than Jason Visser. Visser is a fucking stud when it comes to putting up ridiculous numbers each season. I personally would like to thank him for helping me win my fantasy group this season. Huge pickup at the end of the 2nd round. Also, deserving for having to go thru such a ordeal on the night of the SHL championship, with Alex Mack hitting on his mother. But seriously, one of the best power forwards in the game, definitely needs to finds his name etched in SHL History. - Who is the favorite and who is the underdog of this series and why? - Which organization needs this championship more in terms of legacy? The simple answer to this question is the Winnipeg Jets, let me explain why I believe this. The Jets have a chance to do something that no other team has been able to do in the history of the SHL. Starting with their S1 SHL Championship, the Winnipeg Jets have won a championship in each decade of the SHL. No one else can make this claim. If they let this one slip out of their grasp, who knows what will happen over the next six seasons. Best to go out there now and secure their claim to history. S1, S7, S19, S25, S37, S43? - Who are the 3 most dangerous players on the ice in this series and why Jason Visser - The most likely MVP of the league, led the SHL with 74 points in the regular season, so far has been not scoring goals as frequently as he did in the regular season. I would be terrified if I was on West Kendall if Visser gets hot, this series could be over quickly. Pietra Volkova - Visser's running mate, finished 17th in the league in scoring, has picked it up in the playoffs leading the league in points thru the first two rounds. Not only dominating in points, Volkova is leading in hits, and it is not even close. Dani Forsberg - 5th in the regular season in scoring Forsberg, like Visser, can take over a series, keep him in check, and the Jets will be making history this post season. |
