It’s been over 10 seasons since the historic Season 36 Reddit Draft Class were drafted to their respective SHL teams since then and a lot has changed. Throughout this period of time, these players have progressed through their careers. While this draft class may be seen as a disappointment as many of the high end players at draft time did not pan out, the players that did stick around made a huge impact on the league. Lots of people have been lost to inactivity and retirement, but we still have a solid group sticking around.
This isn’t going to have the depth and detail as @Rabidsponge21 ‘s S31 articles as there are still a lot of people left and I don’t have the time to go through awards and all star nominations right now, but once our numbers thin out these will get more detailed. Who has scored the most goals? Guys who have been a defenseman their whole career are obvious front runners here. Defensive stalwart Eastwood leads the charge. Odegard, Creller, Hefeweizen, and Chiclets have all been defensemen for their whole career so they have a leg up here. Boyka, Singh, Augustus, Cuddles, and Creller are no slouches either with 5+ each. This draft class may not have been everything it was hyped up to be in the end, but it still has produced some fantastic players that have put in a lot of work and have had great careers so far. Will we see any hall of fame players from this class? We will have to wait and see. Guys like Bitties and Fletcher definitely have a shot while Cuddles, Augustus and Konig have an outside shot if they finish off their careers strong.
