More then a few laughs were shared in the Crows meeting last night after a 2-1 win against the Outlaws, however their current opponent was not the target of their contempt. Instead, a late-night interview with Savoli Tankovic of the Detroit Falcons drew their attention, when he called the club “overrated”.

The 3-time defending champs bested the Falcons in 6 games, but when Tankovic was asked about the season ending on a low note, he said “Well, first of all not a disappointment more like progress we were hoping this would be the year, and it hasn't been that way at all. It was just a disappointing to lose to such an undeserving overrated team in St.Louis, but they beat us we felt we could have done better.

When asked to elaborate, Tankovic dug deeper, saying that “Ask anyone in our locker room we all know that St.Louis is an overrated team. They are overhyped, over glorified…”

Needless to say, when the interview found its way to the Crows’ locker room, there were some laughs, but some were less fond of the Falcon and his diatribe.

Izem Abioye, a rookie defenseman for the team, said that “He shouldn’t have said that. It’s an attack on the team and the hard work we’ve put in to come to this point and go further. You shouldn’t call the team that just eliminated you an overrated club. What does that say about the Falcons, then?”

Assistant Captain Charlie Serpe was heard saying “Hey, we didn’t know we’d have 2 by-weeks in a row, so. If you thought you would win as an 8th seed wildcard, I don’t know what to tell you.”

Overall, the Crows aren’t phased by the Falcons, looking forward to a matchup in the 4-Star Final before June. Obstacles stand in their way, but it seems like words aren’t one of them.

Overall the team does think you guys are overrated, you might have won this matchup, but luckiness always comes to the teams in st.louis.

Luck comes to those who deserve it and work hardest to achieve it.
Maybe that's what the Falcons have none.

Luck is for those who are lucky. Just ask the San Jose Sharks for 2 series, and 1 game in the Western Conference Finals. Pure luck to those who people pity.
