Congrats to rookie goalie @KlusteR aka Markus Tegernako (LET) for winning the Vyacheslav Onoprienko Trophy!

Tegernako was given the most underrated Player in the SMJHL for his rise up through Lethbridge, beginning out as an undrafted player and siging with Lethbridge after the Reddit Draft. This rookie had a regular season record of 14-8-1 as the Lions backup goalie, playing more and more as the year went on. Eventually, the GMs gave him the crease, and he responded with a strong playoffs, winning 6 games while posting two shutouts. @SDCore referred to @KlusteR as a beacon of activity, never complaining about playing time, and always being around in the locker room. Congrats to Markus for winning this season's Vyacheslav Onoprienko Trophy!

"uhh is an interesting one, because I don’t think he has a job or anything along those lines, but like BruskyBoy, he’s very new to the community (a rookie, at that) and not only is he active, but the things he suggests are pretty cool. Given more time, I could see him take a HO job or something that’ll benefit all of us." | "Biggest bank out of any first gen. Created after the draft but is up there with the ones created before the draft. Great media and involvement making videos." | "uhh has been very vocal about trying to improve the site, to the point where they've offered to spend their own money to advertise and grow the league. This, in conjunction with a friendly presence in the S50 rookie discord and some extremely high quality media pieces"

Ever since BruskyBoy joined the SHL, he’s been more than just someone who updates his player on a weekly basis. Being an intern and apart of SMJHL HO is no easy task, and for someone who’s just joined the community, you have to respect the effort, and of course, some of the threads he makes are interesting to read." | "He has been an absolute workhorse since joining the league. He killed it during / after the reddit draft and moved right from HO intern to HO member. He is a solid guy all around and does whatever he can to help the league out.

@esilverm Nicolaj Muller (STL)

The Award Committee says:

Nicolaj Muller: Updater, Site Admin team, SHL Scraper Bot, Working on SHL automated updating tool. This guy is really the hamster on the wheel powering the site, doing a bunch of great work to make everyone's lives easier on here, on top of being a great mentor and great teammate.

For those unaware, these guys put in lots of work for the site either behind the scenes, staying active and writing engaging articles, or keeping the league running. Congrats everyone on the nomination!

More Adam Silver than Gary Bettman, thats basically all you need to know. WiC you do great work and we appreciate you, just not enough to win most dedicated!
