@notorioustig some individuals on St. Louis weren't watching the videos and were just waiting for me to tell them if Paq won... so you know I had to do it to em
Skreebirds are mad, sorry fellas! Just some easy fun trolling some St. Louis players, Edward Williams aka @Aephino was the real Rookie of the Year winner!
Brandon Holmes Trophy - Top Defensive Forward nominees are...
@thiefofcheese Ivan Maximus (ANA)
Thief, another great S50 prospect, was one of the strongest two-way players in the game. He had respectable plus-minus numbers, strong hits, and strong faceoff numbers. Thief was great for Anaheim, and hugely responsible for where they ended up this season.
@bluesfan55 Mitchell Van Der Heijden (ANC)
Bloos was the first line centre for Anchorage, playing a strong two-way game for the Armada. He was a respectable +7, with strong PK numbers, and elite faceoff numbers, winning more than 54% of his draws.
@Mook Kenny Creller (CAR)
Kenny to members of the Committee is the definition of a defensive forward. 16% of his ice time this season was on the PK. His 29 SB makes him 2nd amongst all forwards(1st if you don’t count Nurmagomedov as he’s an F that lined up as D). Additionally, he was a strong +10, and was unafraid to lay the body with over 100 hits this season.
Redcapediver stands out for his work with the SMJHL Budget. He was able to turn the budget from a hot mess into an amazing sheet. I am grateful for his work and his positive attitude when approached with problems.
Smalinowski has become renowned across the league for his insanely interesting media pieces, as well as his ability to be a leader and great guy in Newfoundland's Locker Room.
TheCanadianCanuck is insanely active in the locker room. He’s always positive and extremely knowledgeable about the site despite being here for only one season. Overall he’s a great presence and the league is better with him apart of it.
The final nomination for this year is: Suavemente. Suavemente is a great person, always up to have a laugh and brightening everybody's day. Suave is a great part of Maine, and although his graphics aren't on Karey or Wasty's level, people love how they show off their own personality and are truly unique.
Overall these four have done amazing things this season and I hope they keep it up. That being said, due to his devotion to the SMJHL I was able to narrow it down to one. With all of this being said, I am proud to award the S52 Elias Armia Award - The Commisioner's Award of Excellence to @“RedCapeDiver”. Congratulations from the SMJHL Commisioner, BadWolf.
Finally, we have the awards that everyone actually came here for: the Fallah and the Lindsay. As these are the two most important awards in the league, I'm sure HO has fudged up the results somehow.
