@"Levidan" You can decide how to count these, but these are both monthly sustaining donations. So the 20$ to the Urban League of Portland will be 240$ a year and the 10$ to Unite Oregon will be 120$ a year, my wife also did a separate 10$ a month to Unite Oregon.

@Scrufdaddy You can choose how much you want to match. If you wanna match just the 40 for this month that's cool by me. Spread the love from some other Crows and USAer's.

It's great to see a continuing donation too. It feels good to know some of this help will continue for the rest of the year. It's important to keep the momentum up!

We've now smashed through $5000, and are well on our way to $6000.

Its been a week now, and its already gone so far above and beyond what I ever could have hoped for. That's thanks to everyone in this wonderful community. I wanted to say thank you again to everyone donating, and to everyone that's getting involved in other ways. The discussions we have, the things we learn, and the actions we take going forward are arguably more important than just giving money. So the work doesn't stop here, but this incredible outpouring of support and kindness is a damn good start.

I'm going to track this thread through the entirety of S54 so that we can keep tallying donations and end of season pledges. So let's keep the kindness and the positivity going! I just thought breaking $5000 would be a good time to say more than just "thank you".

I made $20 donations to the Columbus Freedom Fund and Equal Justice Initiative. Add another $40 to the Buffalo contingent!
