Me first, me first! Let me just put this banana in my pocket for safe keeping.

An old man's dream ended. A young man's vision of the future opened wide. Young men have visions, old men have dreams. But the place for old men to dream is beside the fire.

This is where you're losing the thread. I don't find men kissing to be attractive personally. I also don't see a conversation that I'm not involved in, like the femboy hooter thread, and decide I must make it known that I'm not attracted to this. It's not that your silence would make you homophobic or not, it's that it isn't necessary to push your views, beliefs or values on anybody else under any circumstance. If you were individually asked about it, sure. That's on the person asking as well. But you have no reason to outwardly state opposition without provocation, and nobody does.

To simplify it, I don't like something that someone else does, I can choose to just personally not like it and support them by not saying anything negative about it thus allowing them to live their life enjoying what they enjoy and me live my life enjoying what I enjoy.
I hear and agree completely what you are saying. If you look at my position - how do I convince someone that I´m not a homophobic? If I made the mistake to comment when I should have not commented?

people don't exist to please you. No one is making you look up guy on guy porn. If you happen to see people kissing in public, regardless of their gender, your best bet is to mind your own damn business.

To be perfectly honest with you, it's not about what you like, it's about your values. Your obstinance and insistence upon telling everybody just how "threatening" and "not pleasing" you find male homosexual activity is the problem here. Yelling about stuff you don't like is one thing - when it's directed towards groups of people who have been literally murdered because of people like you finding them threatening and gross, that's when it becomes a real problem.

also, as a bisexual woman, I personally invite you to go perv over something else. If you can't have the basic decency to refrain from harassing ALL queer people, you definitely don't deserve to get off to any of us.

It is possible and quite doable to confront homophobic beliefs within yourself, but it’ll take a good bit of self reflection. Watch media by LGBTQ+ creators and featuring queer characters, get a sense of what they have to deal with. Educate yourself on LGBTQ+ issues. If you see homophobia/transphobia in your real life like on social media, call them out on it or cut them off. Surround yourself with positive voices. Focus on acceptance.

For anyone wondering where the new recipe is, I'm out of town all day at a funeral for my great aunt, so I don't have my computer in front of me. But I'll post one when I get home tonight. I have a Chorizo Pizza I made the other night to share.

Sorry for your loss, buddy. Definitely looking forward to that pizza though. Mexican or Portuguese chorizo?

mmmm scrapple

Ingredients

1 whole pork butt, cut into 6 to 8 pieces

4 whole hocks, fresh

1 whole onion, peeled and halved

3 stalks celery, roughly chopped

1 tablespoon black peppercorns

4 bay leaves

3 tablespoons kosher salt

2 tablespoons ground black pepper

1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage

3 cups white cornmeal

3 cups yellow cornmeal

Clarified butter, for pan-frying

Applesauce or maple syrup, for serving

Directions

To a large stockpot, add the pork butt, hocks, onion, celery, peppercorns and bay leaves. Barely cover with water and simmer over low heat until the pork is tender and the meat falls off the bones, about 2 hours.

Drain and reserve the stock. Pour the solid contents onto a baking sheet so that you can easily discard the celery, onions, peppercorns, bay leaves and all of the bones. Make sure to pull the meat completely off the bones, being careful to remove all the small pieces of bone.

Add the meat to a food processor with the blade attachment and pulse to coarsely chop. Don't over grind it.

Measure 1 gallon of stock and return it to the pot along with the chopped meat and the salt, ground black pepper, cayenne, and sage. Bring to a simmer over low heat.

Add the cornmeal and stir, stir, stir. Simmer until smooth and thick, about 15 minutes. Add a little stock or water, if needed, to ensure a smooth texture.

Pour into 3 loaf pans and refrigerate until solid, preferably overnight.

Unmold, slice and fry in clarified butter until golden brown. Serve with applesauce or maple syrup.
