File Worker Posting Freak Code: New Orleans will break the FHM President's Trophy Curse and win the Challenge Cup as well Against: I don't see New Orleans winning the President's Trophy, as good as they are I feel there are other teams like Manhattan and Edmonton that are getting hot just at the right time and could very well pass the Specters in the standings.

Registered Posting Freak Code: Collin Gibbles will finish with the most takeaways in the league for the third straight season For. Gibbles will end up finishing the year with the most takeaways. It is a perfect storm for him. He is one of the premier defensive forwards in the league on a team that is constantly fighting for possession. He has the skills and the opportunities to hold on to that lead. I will say that Baltimore's Nat Emerson is going to give him a run for his money but ultimately fall just a bit short.

The Expansion teams should definitely not be placed in Montana and West Virginia. They have the combined population smaller than some major cities, and neither would be considered hockey power houses. These need to go to some major cities where hockey thrives or you'll get no fans. BOOO 100% against.

The Calgary Dragons are the team that most urgently needs to make a deadline move
Against. But not for the reason you might expect. I don't think many people were buying at the deadline and Calgary definitely shouldn't have been. They're not in a good spot in the conference, but also didn't have a ton of people to move outside of guys like Izzy and that rental wouldn't happen both for player-arc and TPE reasons. 66 words

New Orleans will break the FHM President's Trophy Curse and win the Challenge Cup as well
For - The only caveat here being is that will still need to actually win the President's Trophy. There is still a lot of hockey to play, but if we can stay on top of the standings, I feel we have to team to win it all again this season. It won't be easy, but I have faith in my Specters to be able to repeat, and if we can finish the season strong, we will be able to have the President's Trophy with us when we do. sig by @Bruins10

"A bit forward-looking here, but Tampa Bay will continue their drastic improvement and win double-digit games next season"
For. The youth infusion will start taking effect after this season, with players like Zoltan Topalo, Ambacas Cuddles and Jerry Huuveri joining the charge as they'll only keep on getting better. Their S54s could be called up early as well for an extra boost. "The Calgary Dragons are the team that most urgently needs to make a deadline move" For. The biggest issue facing the Dragons heading forward is that they're old and don't have a ton of young talent coming up through the pipeline yet. If they want to get past the Edmontons and New Orleans of the world with this core before they have to retool, they'll need to make a splash to propel them past the top teams.

If anything, before the deadline was over, one of New England or Chicago could've made a deal to boost their chances in the fight for the last playoff spot in the East. Instead New England traded away van Otter and Chicago stood pat. Both teams could've definitely used a move to add to their chances but I understand why they didn't.

The new expansion teams should be placed in West Virginia and Montana #NOLEAKS Uh... hard against. West Virginia is an okay location for the SHL to expand to maybe, but Montana isn't even an ideal place to but an Aplebee's, let alone a hockey franchise. Thankfully, the Western expansion team has already been announced to be placed somewhere else. There are far better choices, like Seattle, Victoria, Portland, or Albuquerque for the West, and Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Montreal, Columbus, or Kansas City for the East. Thank you to Ham and Sulo for the sigs!

Registered Posting Freak Code: The new expansion teams should be placed in West Virginia and Montana #NOLEAKS There is a reason that the new expansion team should be placed in Montana. Adding another team to the Calgary and Edmonton area would allow for more rivalry in the area and the Montana team would be able to capitalize on the Denver and US Mountain States fanbase that only really has the Colorado Raptors at the moment.

Against. West Virginia is a horrible place to live let alone put a hockey team. Montana also can't support a stadium as cattle aren't frequent purchasers of tickets. I just don't see how either of those would work with the cows lack of ability to read and the whole West Virginia thing.

Registered Elmo Shrug Code: The new expansion teams should be placed in West Virginia and Montana #NOLEAKS 100% false, we should have gone crazy with this expansion and put teams in entirely new countries, like Mexico and Europe. This is a fake hockey league so we dont have to actually worry about travel distance and such. so we should have a little more fun with it

No one can hold a candle to the Berserkers; they will hoist the Four Star Cup
AGAINST This is one of those PTs that it is easier to disagree with because more sims have happened but even though the Berserkers might look the best on paper, they seem to have been slowing down a bit today. After a loss to STL they are only ahead of the East by 1 point and then Anchorage and Kelowna are also only behind by a few points. This season's playoffs are going to be extremely tight because so many close teams with great rosters.

THE RETURN OF CAMERON CARTER - CCII will land on an all-star team! Duh, FOR. Cameron is the only played in the top 30 in goal scoring who plays under 17 minutes per game, as well as being the only player in the top 50 who doesn't play any PP time at all and he's currently sixth in scoring with 23 goals. What CCII has done in a purely third line role is much more impressive than most "all-stars" who leech points off their much more skilled linemates or by abusing bad teams to inflate their points which is something CCII would never do. "“HA HA! THIS GAME WILL NEVER END! I POSSESS THE SOUL OF EVERY GOALIE ON TEAM B!! CREW 4 LIFE!! SIGN WITH EDMONTON FOR THE CUP!!!” cackled Belial as he placed a Fedora on his head."

A bit forward-looking here, but Tampa Bay will continue their drastic improvement and win double-digit games next season Have to disagree with this one, a team sewering themselves to the point where they went a whole season without winning a single game doesn't then get credit for 'drastically improving' to 10 wins. They are a shit team and will remain a shit team for seasons to come because the other teams in their conference and division aren't going to suddenly get worse, honestly even a new expansion team will be better than them. Unless they decide to trade all their prospects for some top players they are looking at least 5 seasons before they are even competitive, and patting yourself on the back for getting more than 3 wins is a new standard of failure.
