Near the end of last week, TPE audits were conducted and released regarding several players, including @StamkosFan's player Ola Wagstrom. During this audit, several irregularities were discovered over a lengthy period of time. We saw a pattern of habitual underreporting of capped TPE and an instance of claiming an activity check for which StamkosFan did not post in and, therefore, was not eligible for. For these reasons, HO has decided to levy the following punishment towards StamkosFan and Ola Wagstrom:

- $5,000,000 bank fine.
- Removal of the illegally earned TPE (16). This has already happened as part of the audit process.
- Ola Wagstrom will be suspended for 10 games, effective immediately.
- TPE penalty of 8 TPE, in addition to the 16 TPE already removed.

As always, StamkosFan may appeal this punishment to the Owners. As another note, because this suspension was after the trade deadline, Manhattan will be allowed to sign an IFA to cover the suspension.

Compared to my penalty, 37 TPE for retiring/unretiring this is a fairly low penalty.

Stamkos should appeal and get to play until the process is complete.

I was given a 25 game suspension that went down to 10 after an appeal. I received leaked HO convos detailing how I was given a stiffer game suspension because they expected an appeal.

Precedence here is bizarre

Compared to my grievances that showed a much higher TPE overage, if Head Office is once again giving a punishment expecting an appeal, Stamkos should play until the process is complete

I agree with this. Especially if it was a "targeted" audit like Jay was theorizing, and done for a competitive edge rather than anything else.

Handing out harsh punishments expecting them to be appealed so they get fair is just so backwards I don't even know what to think.

To be fair, in the history of the league, we have never had punishments for low tpe overages like the max he had was I think 4 in one of them. That kind of thing is just a simple correction.

I would like a name of who requested this audit. While it was good that it was caught, and I'm not disputing that, I would dare you to tell me with a straight face this league isn't spiteful and looks for every edge. If an audit is requested, I think it should be public knowledge because for some, I'm sure it's tactical and I have a little birdie telling me someone with a vested interest said they were aware of these issues seasons ago, which if true would mean I have a bone to pick. It's hearsay, but it's troubling.

This is a serious allegation and I would like to know what you've heard to come to this conclusion. Please message me.

I need to clarify:

I am not saying this is what happened here because this HO is entirely different members than those who dealt my suspension. Them asking for 10 games may be genuine.. but I'm fearful they used my punishment as the precedence, the basis of which is shady however.

I am not saying this is what happened here because this HO is entirely different members than those who dealt my suspension. That's what makes using the my punishment as precedence wrong.

Tbh I thought Serpe's was the precedent used here

Jesus, dude, talk about spiteful. Please, continue with my "fair" if it gets it out of your system.

Tactical or not, mistakes were made over the course of multiple seasons which have now been caught. Take it up with HO about the timing of the punishment, not the auditor or requester.
