Revolutionary that people responded about something that was one of the biggest and most interesting SHL Media pieces written since I joined the site in April, that you apparently missed?

Also, thinking that just because your question was answered there's no reason for the podcast?

Yikes on both counts

We still have no box scores and limited utility. Is any work being done in this area? Is the idea that everyone should simply purchase FHM in order to enjoy SHL? In retrospect, was it a wise decision to switch to a sim engine that can’t provide the type of output necessary to fully enjoy the league? Speaking only for myself, this has been incredibly frustrating and has led to my going almost completely inactive, although I did recently at least resume updating my player.
Individuals like esilverm have been putting in tons of work to create something for awhile now. If you took the time to learn some of the new fangled technology, I'm sure they'd welcome some more help.

In fact, you were tagged by your best buddy The Augment in that thread.

a person comes in to talk to the commish on his thoughts on the league and here comes @hhh81 pointing his finger at him in tutorial fashion... he is taking the time to learn by asking a question and pointing out his concerns to the commish.. isnt that the point of this podcast? .. i mean not every question needs to be about New Jersey and if its a real place..

Strawman fallacy--four other questions were asked with deep and valid content for the commissioners to discuss before my throwaway question to give them something silly to end the show/break up between topics or just ignore.

Willful ignorance isn't an excuse, especially when it implies nothing is being done when a little effort (which several people in this thread took on so the commissioners didn't have to entertain it) can remedy the faulty assumptions and allegations of his post.

I previously wrote this piece with a suggestion in mind to change how the league sims their games. I'm gonna bump it here again with a repetition of some questions:
- do you think that the current role a simmer has for the leagues is a good long-term option?
- how would the creation of a new HO team surrounding this work in practice?

And some other questions while I'm at it:
- what would you like to see more from a community engagement standpoint?
- When will we see the next big drama moment, and how can we blame you for it?

Willful ignorance? They fucking asked for podcast questions and I gave them some. What exactly did I do that was so egregious? People ask whatever they want and I don’t give them a hard time about it. Frankly I’ve been hearing about a new index coming along since the switch was made and haven’t seen one yet. As far as willful ignorance, I flat out said I’ve been mostly inactive for awhile now. So yeah, I don’t read every media piece that comes along. Sue me.

I hate the trash index we have now and it has helped rob me of much of the pleasure I used to gain from engaging in the SHL. It’s been seasons now and I’m sure it will be seasons to come before any new index is completed.

Honestly, I don’t know why I can’t just ask a question when prompted like anybody else and not have to get six different tags regarding it?

You just gotta see that it's frustrating when people take time to answer your questions, especially in depth like silver did, with you immediately responding with a snarky comment. Just because they answered you doesn't mean that SD and Badwolf won't touch on it in the podcast. Quite the contrary it probably only increases the importance on touching on such a question. I get a lot of people are younger than you here, and hhh was a bit of out line with poking fun at your age with "learning new technology stuff", but as someone on the north side of 30 and feeling a bit out of touch at times. Sometimes it's best to just roll with shit and not let it get under your skin.

But like, it was a snarky question calling into question if any work is being done on building a website to actually represent stats accurately when he was tagged in past threads to be made aware from it? For him to be met with a reponse with the same tone isn't surprising, in fact it should be expected when someone puttting in a massive undertaking is questioned in the tone he was. Is it also not a surprise that he asked a question and it got answered?

I dont understand the idea that a podcast question that can easily be answered by people with readily available, and public knowledge, just should be ignored so that BW and Corey can say "yes it is being worked on" and keep moving along. Just because it's a podcast doesn't mean there can't be redundant questions
