The S57 All-Hits All-The Time Team

RD Luc-Pierre Lespineau-Lebr with a league leading 207 hits
LD DeMaricus Smyth getting moved over because he has too many HPM (hits per minute) to not make this team
LW Zakkira Diporov as the best hitter we have amongst forwards, the only above 100
RW Jakub Bruchevski as the most hits at RW, nobody so impressive behind Diporov at LW to challenge Jakub
C Andreas Kvalheim as the most hits at C, same story as Jakub at RW
G White Goodman because he's the only player in the SHL with "hit" somewhere in his name

Best part of hockey besides playing it would be to draft a team. So lets have fun with this and take a look at who is on my Eastern and Western SHL all star teams.

Eastern Conference
C- Michael Scarn Steelhawks

- simply put he is dominating the shl with 59 points and 27 goals.
LW- Dick Clapper Steelhawks

- consistent as they get and riding shotgun with the leagues point leader will no doubt get you on this list.
RW- Manuel Gotze Inferno

- one of my favorite all around complete players getting it done with an expansion team.
LD- Augustus Wang Stampede

- he's time has come and he has seized the day with already 9 goals from the point.
RD- Rex Kirkby Inferno

- my favorite two way defenseman who is awesome at both ends of the ice.
G- Elizabeth Doyle Stampede

- no stranger here as she is a premium goal keeper and season after season always in discussions for best goaltender.

Western Conference
C- Jon Forty-One Blizzard

- making the charts this season the leagues best passer with 38
LW- Maxime Bouchard Dragons

- what can I say, he is just the style of play I want to emulate
RW- Julio Tokolosh Blizzard

- no introductions needed most if not all goalies despise him, just MOO over cause Toko has eyes for net!
LD- FR Finn-Rhys Blizzard

- biased you say but no, go prove me wrong as all fantasy mangers are jumping on the Finn express wagon!
RD- Karlstrasse Scholz Blizzard

- they best year in year out in this position, enough said.
G- Knox Booth Panthers

- i don't know if its the "rock star" name but definitely an elite level goalie here. A legend in my books!

Those are my picks and feeling pretty good to take on any all star team in a best of 7.

LW - Kynwyl Pearce (Most SH Points) C - Raivo Helminen(Most Hits League + Most PIMS) - RW - Niccolo Livius (Most Shot Blocks Forward + Best Fighter League)

LD - James LeBlond (Most Take Aways) RD - Bud Weiser (Most Shot Blocks League + Most SH Time)

Goalie - Thor Odinson (Most Minutes Played + His Name is Thor Odinson... good enough for me)

Concept: You have to be the best at something that makes you a true warrior to make this team.

W - Jarmo Kekalainen

Beranek leads the league in scoring, he is also the top goal scorer, so natural pick. Kekalainen is not far behind, 29 points in 25 games are second best in the league at the moment. Flitter is perhaps a slight surprise pick, but I like Flitters goal-scoring ability, 16 goals in 29 games is only 3 less than Beranek has.

In defense Maximov, an obvious pick again, fifth in league scoring as a defender, over a point per game. Goodname is a safe pick, second best scorer among defenders, excellent puck mover. In the net I have Chimkin Tendy, 4 shutouts in 19 games are nice.

Only issue is there aren't any goalies who are at that mark (The first time in the league where there isn't enough goalies)
So they've asked the next closest player, Harry Carpet, who sits at 1940.
