Yo, what's up, how's it going, big hang, hang 10, other greeting, my name's Matt. Username is Mazatt for kind of obvious reasons, I just threw extra letters on my name. Same thing with my Discord username, it's Smatt. Just... threw an S on there to make it so that I wasn't just getting called Matt online.

Fun facts are hard to come up with; I'm going into accounting? That isnt that fun and half the Blizzard are already accountants, so it isn't even special. This might be obvious for a hockey sim league but I'm a 'uge hockey fan, love the Calgary Flames baby. I know of a few other fellas on here that are the same but it's rare to run into Flames fans so it's a special truama bonded connection I feel we all share. I also cheer for the Maple Leafs but that's more taboo and I like to hide that dark part of myself. Also enjoy the odd bit of baseball which is why I joined the ISFL (football sim) for a second league to manage. Don't ask why that makes sense, it just does. Big Blue Jays fan, gotta represent Canada somehow.

Other fun facts, big gamer. Another huge surprise for a sim league, I'm sure. Super Mega Baseball is a surprise banger but I run stuff on Xbox like Rocket League or NHL, or on the Switch with games like Legend of Zelda Hyrule Warriors. I'm a huge fan of mindless hack and slash games which might be weird. I've also been indoctrinated into loving Carly Rae Jepsen by hhh81.

Final thing; just got a new dog in September and I love her a lot so I'm yossing this cute photo of her sleeping in here. Peace

My name is r0tzbua and contrary to popular belief my player is not Zayne Rotzbua but Finn von Murphenstein. Also I moved from Austria to Canada in 2019 for work and am currently waiting to be approved for Permanent Residence. I like trains. I work in simulation development for military and law enforcement which is a fancy way to say we make computer games for serious people.

I yam what I yam. Came into this league on a whim late last spring as part of the S55 draft class. Since then I keep finding myself more and more entrenched in the league and having a great time all around. People I've shared a LR with know I'm outspoken and do my best to help everyone succeed in the SHL. Folks that haven't had the misfortune to be on a team with me probably view sharing a LR as a misfortune. As outspoken as I am supporting my teammates I am equally into the matchups around the league and just a fan of my teams. So with all that being said BAP gonna go undefeated this season and win it all. If you aren't taking the BAP over in the casino you're wrong!

Hi I'm Kyle. My player is Zayne Rotzbua. Not to be confused with users Zaynzk or r0tzbua who were also in my draft class and both mistakenly drafted ahead of me. They are fellow alumni of the DSFL Dallas Birddogs who made the jump over to SHL with me. Also joining us is other bums such as, asked_madden, amidships, reverendoreilly. Great bunch nerds. I'd also like to shout out other birddogs in this league before us, jkortesi, enigmatic, bayley (bum), kyamprac amd orbitingdeath. They're all pretty awesome too. One last thing, be on the lookout for Zoot_TX and gucci. The newest and shinierst Birddogs to make the league jump.

I'm Vandy, been here a couple of years. Played with a few great teams and have been lucky to find good friends since I've been here. I've somehow become well liked site wide despite knowing less than a third of you but I will proudly wear that badge with honor. I think this was a great idea for one of your first point tasks and am happy to see a familiar face as one of the older generation SHL member come back to the site within the last season or so and get back to playing a prominent role in the league. I wish all the best in your new role as the point task director head and am sure you are going to do a great job!

Anyways now onto myself, I am Darian, or as many know me on the site through my current player Mats Marner or by my username leafsftw1967. I have been around the SHL for quite a while having joined back in December 2011 at the end of season six of the league in an exciting period of transition switching websites for the first time and the first era of the SHL was beginning to wrap up with the first wave of players retiring and the league expanding with lots of new members. My first player was a defense Darian Scherbluk who went on to have a hall of fame SHL career having played nineteen seasons in the SHL for the Hamilton Steelhawks, Toronto North Stars and Manhattan Rage. At the time of retirement at the end of season twenty seven my old player was the all time leading point scorer amongst defensemen and top ten in points all time. In addition, Scherbluk retired at the time with the most Steven Trophy awards given to one player during their career with four. However, after joining the SHL at the end of season six, I think I am the longest active member without a Challenge Cup (I may be wrong on this statement as it was hard to check the facts but would be surprised if anyone before me still has not won).

That is where the story of my SHL journey transitions to my current player today with Mats Marner. I came back to the site in March 2020 as the corona virus pandemic hit and I was left with little to do being forced to quarantine in my apartment. I was very happy @JNH reached out to me to encourage me to rejoin the SHL and give it another go with a new player. I signed as an undrafted free agent one week into the season fifty three signing with the Newfoundland Berserkers who were being managed by JNH at the time. I had a lot of fun playing in Newfoundland in my rookie season embracing a new experience as a forth line role player that I never had the chance to do with my old player because the league was nowhere near as active back in those days and may teams had full lines of inactive players. Heading into Marner’s draft I was surprisingly taken sixth overall after the Calgary Dragons traded up to draft me. I was shocked at first as I was almost one hundred percent sure I was going to be drafted by Chicago as I had so many friends on that team and they told me they were going to take me seventh overall. Years two, three and four in Newfoundland were awesome as Marner had the chance to win a Four Star Cup with Newfoundland, make back to back final appearances, be named to the team’s captaincy group, brought home the Lindsay, Hanson and Martucci awards as SMJHL MVP, SMJJHL leading point scorer and SMJHL leading goal scorer on top of three all star nominations while also winning the Mike Izzy team dedication award in Calgary.

While Marner made the jump to the big leagues with the Calagary Dragons in season fifty seven, he put up somewhat disappointing numbers. However, with a shot to play in the Dragons top six this season along two great players with Batsbak and Poroshenko (my brother in real life) while being over 1,100 tpe I am hoping this can be Marner’s breakout year in the SHL!

Hi, Keenan.

I'm st4rface. My player is called Aumy Jr. and he plays for Buffalo Stampede. In SMJHL I played for Colorado Raptors. I joined this league in far S27 and this is my second player. My first player played for almost 20 seasons. He played for Halifax Raiders, Prince George Firebirds, Edmonton Blizzard, Portland Admirals, Seattle Riot, Calgary Dragons and Manhattan Rage. Funny that majority of these teams doesn't exist anymore, haha. My favourite hockey player of all time is Marcel Hossa (not Marian).

I've been pretty loud name in this league before. I had suspensions and some drama around me, but it's all good now and I think everything is fine. However - I love to be here and have some fun time sometimes. I may not be as active here or on Discord, but I always try to keep up with news around this league. I am in touch with only few users on here personally and individually, but it's still cool, cause they are awesome. My team is pretty cool too.

I love to make music in real life, do different sports and just have great time. I like to come here just to have some time off from real life and relax. It's always cool to watch how my player is doing here. I come from Latvia, but I represent Finland in this league, since, in my opinion, Finnish players and users are much more friendly than Latvians. It's my subjective opinion. I did motocross for almost ten years in total in my countries highest level and now I'm making music. You can find it on all major digital streaming platforms. I make music in Latvian and English. Trying to make music in different genres and making something I love.

Love to be in studio and put some work in too. It's always cool to meet new people in music industry and specially artists. It's pretty nice. However - music helps me a lot and for me it's much more than jsut a hobby. I love to make music and I'm thankful to anyone who is helping me to make my songs and promotes them. Each listening is worth gold in my opinion. I played floorball in pretty high level for two years aswell. So... I wouldn't call myself only as an athlete or musician. Pretty proud to call myself an artist! Of course, there might be people who say the opposite, but I'm always trying to be positive and let negative stuff behind me. It's sometimes hard, but yeah...

PT's are very interesting thing when they come out, so I wish you best of the luck with making them. It will not be easy, but you will definitely do good. Best of the luck and stay safe in this cruel time! Best of the luck in new season aswell. Hope you're doing well!

Hello! I played with the Whalers and got drafted by the Steelhawks.. then got traded to Toronto, then to Winnipeg where I'll be playing my first season in the big league. Irl I'm an Oilers fan and Amidships is my husband.

Hi my name is Andy, you were the reason why I went to Edmonton in the S20’s or one of the reasons and that’s how we were able to win a cup. I at one point was a co-GM of Minny where I did nothing but I did win a cup. And now I’m going to make a 2K TPE player Smile
