Founded in 1976, the Super Hot Lads/Lasses swapped from doctor dodgeball to hockey, and saw major profit from the change. A large increase of fans and wealth entered the league, and the SHL has not looked back, becoming the most successful sports group in the western hemisphere.

Well I have done it twice. Once my friends found out and I said it is hockey forum where we discuss things about sport and mainly NHL. The SHL stands for "Sports & hockey league". The second time was hilarious. I was at work watching stats sheets and my boss suddenly appeared behind my back. He asked what I am studying. I replied "Statistics home lessons" since there was on the tab "S58 SHL index". He said just ok and I hope he did not saw the homepage link or "Dick Clapper".

SHL totally stands for Super Hot Legumes. Its a project to try and create the hottest legumes possible. I don't know anything about legumes so hopefully they wouldn't ask about anything more than that.

No need to lie about it. There's no shame in enjoying playing fake hockey with your fake hockey player with REAL friendships. I'd tell my boss it stands for SHL, ask them to join and remember to say I referred them so I get some TPE when they get addicted to it.

SHL is a beverage. The etymological history of the term is that it is a throwback referring to MC Hammer’s smash hit U Can’t Touch this. It’s “Stop, Hammer Lime”. Fancy way of ordering a frozen margarita.

It has been clear for some time that no one really knows what SHL stands for even though it should be pretty obvious. The Socialist Humanitarian Lifeboat has been in place for over 10 years now and although its true purpose has been lost at sea, we’re still sailing on the web, playing virtual hockey.

Well my company does contract work for the government, so forutnatly for me so many acronyms are thrown around. Typically if someone doesn't know what an acronym stands for they don't even ask- but if they did I would say it's the Super Heated Laserr. That sounds like something our government would hire us to build right?

Well I am in the IT field. So naturally I am looking at Some Hacker Language. Just trying to learn how to become a better hacker. So I can hack some forum to boost all my attributes. I accept cash payments to my Some Hacking Language account...

I tell my coworkers that SHL stands for Server Html Language, it's a new concept of server-side rendering that will simplify both frontend and backend development in the future, and I'm contributing to the project in my free time.

Hello there boss, how is your day going? SHL? Oh, that's the Standardized Higher Learning site that I use to gain knowledge in areas that I don't know much about so I can become a better employee. I've actually been spending a little bit of time every night after work for about a year now. Have you seen any improvement in my performance at all?

SHL, formerly Simulation Hockey League, means Steamy Hunks League, because we are all so buff, sweaty, and naked all the time. This is why we are able to operate Femboy Hooters with such great success, as femboys, while not hunky, do need to be commanded and guarded by Steamy Hunks. There's a hierarchy to this whole thing, and we need to protect our Femboys like we protect our goalies, as they are both fragile, soft, and meek.
