I mean, it's not like I don't have a chance at something else. I'm sure those hockey skills would come on handy to make me a sturdier pro skateboarder. Or at least, good enough that my knees don't become powder in 10 years.

Former Players: Yoshimitsu McCloud (LW, #64) - Outlaws pride Platoon Jets Aurora Ireland
Won a Four Star Cup once, knew ninjutsu, picture editors hated him, never tried free agency
Anton Harrier (LW, #90) - Battleborn Rage Ireland
Won WJC gold, liked skateboarding a lot, went to the finals with Manhattan, kept his seat glued in LR

I don't know if I can write much about the line of work someone who is named Richard with a large..... uhh. I don't know what I would do.

Recently, I have been building a Two way forward type player, even entertaining the idea of going for the “shadow” player type. That means that I can use my resume to apply to be the cartoon shadow from bugs bunny, and maybe get a feature film appearance in the next Peter Pan

Thanks Wasty, Carpy, JSS, TurdFerguson, Geekusoid and Awesomecakes for the sigs!

With the millions that I have made playing hockey, I dont necessarily need a job. However I will want something to fill my time with. And as I have noted previously, I love the hospitality industry. So I will take that love and try to get my foot in the door by using my large stature. I will start bouncing for popular bars downtown. I have no intention of wanting to beat people up. NO. I will learn to bounce at the rough and tumble bars by being nice, and asking unruly patrons to leave politely. I will escort them outside so they can stop ruining the good time that everyone else is having.

After years of being a good cooler, and working at many establishments. I will then be called upon by a bar owner in rural Missouri, who is trying to turn his roadhouse bar into a much nicer establishment. However, when I come into town and accept the job, I will probably have to fire many of the bouncers, and bartenders for miscellaneous infractions. Selling drugs, taking money from the till, and starting fights instead of cooling them down. This doesn't do me any favors however because a few of those employees are well connected.

Thankfully I am not alone here though, it turns out my blind musician friend is living and working here as the nightly musical act. (random I know).
After a particularly violent night at the bar, I will meet a beautiful doctor when I go to the hospital for a knife wound. We will start to date and she will try to knock some sense into me to quit such a dangerous job.

Kata Vilde will of course go into the professional wrestling sport. His skills translate very well with the ability of short bursts of intense activity, catlike reflexes, tremendous leg strength and flexibility and his greatest asset his trash talking ability.

A. Jobin's resume includes one bullet point. Stopping things. He applied to all the local schools in his area and finally got hired by the local elementary school. At first they thought it was funny that he showed up in his hockey pads and taped a stop sign to the end of his goalie stick. Little did they realize that he doesn't remove the pads and shows up like that every day.

6+ years of experience with the following skills:
- Handling my stick plus occasionally handling other men's sticks.
- Feeding people.
- Going to time out when I've done something wrong.
- Settling differences in a gentlemanly sort of way.
- Using blades in unconventional ways.
As you can see, I believe I am very qualified for the open position as performer at Medieval Times.

I'm not sure how well my hockey skills will translate to my next career. Really, though, I want to cook Russian food for people. I guess that I may have some name recognition locally for my time in the sport that shall not be named and that might help my business get off the ground. I guess I can refer to myself as an "athletic celebrity" or something.

Welcome to the hall, Ben!

Hello Mr. Employer,

I am Edward Williams, but you can call me Teddy.

I have many skills that are pertinent to this business job and not any other unrelated jobs.

My reading ability is fantastic and I am good at checking -- fact-checking -- when doing business tasks.

My speed when performing work is unmatched. I am also good at getting open, in terms of projects or assignments I need to do. If that makes sense.

I am good at handling things. Like work reports. Or things that need to be done.

Hire me.

Thank you,
Teddy

I don't know why you would need a resume to be an acolyte of the Cult of Zoltan. There is no better job in the world. Hockey skills may not translate well on a resume, but peddling for gifts and donations and speaking with potential acolytes does translate well. These are skills you learn off the ice dealing with rabid fans.

Eero Makela is not allowed to talk about his stint as a player of a game on ice with sticks. Eero Makela is only allowed to move forward and not live in the past, not talk about the spiele verboten. Now that I am back among the common folks, I have begun my career as a time traveling police officer. I am a loose cannon, but I am the best on the force, and the only one who can go back in time to defeat Hitler in an epic kung fu battle.
