S59 mPT #4 Cup Favorite

I think the favorite to win the cup going into these playoffs is obviously the Baltimore Platoon. This is a young and and highly skilled team with a losing record going into the playoffs. They have nothing to lose due to all of the losing they have done already this season. So clearly it only makes sense that Hamilton will win the cup this year.

As a Calgary Dragons player I'm of the mindset that we are the favorite for the cup every season. I think we have a great chance this year and have already beat some of the top teams proving we can go all the way. You have to be confident in your chances otherwise you can't will it to happen!

I'd like to say any other team than one from the Great Lakes division, but we all know that is probably not going to happen. I would love to see Texas come out on top but I am not holding me breath. I look forward to the day when this question has a little more uncertainty to it.

FMH is an evil being that hates certain teams when it comes playoff time. There has a been a severe lack of parity thus far in its reign over us. I wholly believe that this is a season where we see a different cup winner. It is hard to believe but Hamilton and Buffalo need to take a seat because this is the year of Texas. They were the presidents trophy winner last season but fell early in the playoffs. This year there is no curse upon them (at least not yet) and they still have maintained a solid chunk of their roster. It is time for Texas to take the cup. YEE HAW.

Well, Hamilton was the champion last year and they seem to be on the top this year too, so it's fairly safe to pick them at this point. They just seem to be the best overall team.

Originally I was thinking Hamilton I would say are the favs to win the cup this year, but after reading through the other replies, I'm kinda starting to wonder about this PH team... I mean I don't really know who that is, maybe it's people thinking Philadelphia even though there is no Philadelphia team? Idk, I'm shooting for Hamilton.

I mean, you can say the playoffs are a different beast entirely from the regular season but I just don’t see how anyone can argue that the favourites for the cup shouldn’t be Hamilton. They have 3 fewer games played vs the second place team and are still above them by a full three points. They have the best point percentage by .042. They have the best point differential by 13. Most wins, fewest losses. Top 2 players in points, both Hamilton. If you don’t have them as your favourites to win the cup I’m afraid you just haven’t been paying attention.

The tampa baay barracuda are the cup favorites because I say they are. They are going to win every single game from now until the finals where they will graciously lose 1 game to make the western team feel better.

The answer to this question is simple. It's Hamilton, or Buffalo. It's always been Hamilton or Buffalo. Some say it always will be Hamilton or Buffalo.

In the Juniors, I have to pick the Knights. It's my last season to try and get a Four-Star before I get called up. Looking at the field, Newfoundland and Detroit have played well against us this season. It should be a lot of fun regardless!

I think that @micool132 is the favorite to win the cup. Everybody in the league knows he's gonna do it. Just wait and see. McFife is gonna lift Colorado to a 4-Star with his big dick energy. G O R A P T O R S

Going to have to go with the popular opinion of Hamilton being this season's champions again. My biggest hope is the shake up with the expansion teams will force teams into some serious shake-ups in their rosters because this is getting really stagnant and I feel like that has detrimental effects on the league. Hamilton vs. Opponent with Hamilton winning more often then not is not a great way for most of the league to enjoy their time on the site.

The last time a team won back-to-back championships in the shl was more than 20 seasons ago, which is interesting because threepeats seem to be a regular thing in juniors, but anyway, based on that fact I'd say Buffalo or Texas are the favorites this season.
