Let's double the meta-PT and do a PT about what people would not want to see as a PT prompt, like what would be people's nightmare PT.

I would like to see a bit more in-character PTs for the players that aren't regarding general league ops or stats or trading cards etc. So I think something like "What's your players favourite food, are you a hobby cook and if yes tell us about your best kept recipe secret" or regarding their favourite drink etc. would be very fun and interesting to write.

The point of PTs are for the players to gain "experience" (TPE) so, the TPEs should all be game related in my opinion. Stuff about your player, hometown, team town, arena etc. I know those get recycled and some people might be bored of them, but things that encourage attacks on other players (like the recent All Star snub PT) are in poor taste and should be avoided.

Mine isn't an original idea. I'm a big fan of recycling old PTs. A lot of the league has only been here a short time, relative to the age of the league. There have been some really good ones in the past. I really liked https://simulationhockey.com/showthread.php?tid=89225. In this one, users were asked to choose an All-SHL team, composed of a max of 2 players from each 'decade'. S1-S9, S10-S19, and so on. Now that the league is a bit older, you could do the same thing, but limit users to 1 player from each decade. Make users dig into some league history and learn about some of the great players that came before them. Selfishly, this also the kind of stuff that I really like to write about.

A good topic to write about would be alternate meanings to the SHL and SMJHL acronyms. It would be a fun way for people to show some creativity without being too hard.

I think a cool PT idea would be for us to build our 6 person team using 20 bucks. There would be a tier list of 5 dollar players, 4 dollar players, 3 dollar players, 2 dollar players and one dollar players (such as myself) - and the same would apply for goaltenders. We would have to explain WHY we built our team the way we did, and why this team would be the ultimate combination under this hypothetical salary cap. The team only has to win ONE game - so build for one 6v6 game - rookies have no advantage over vets due to 'potential'.

The list is just a prototype - But you get the gist! I think it'd be a fun activity and it'd be cool to see who goes well-rounded, top heavy, etc and what differences there are within our unique teams! Of course this will need to be fine-tuned but the idea seems really fun and I think others will agree!

'Free Redistribution PT' - if you had the opportunity to completely re-do your build, what would it look like? What role would you play, where would you put all that TPE? How is it different than your current build? What did you change, and why?

What's team do you love to play against in the regular season?
This could be taken to mean; which teams the player preforms the best against, which teams they know the most people on, or maybe which games they find are the most exciting. It just opens up a lot of room for interpretation and gives individuals freedom with how they want to tackle the PT which is always a good thing.

Although some might consider it toxic, the PT's that spark controversy are always the best. A quality thunderdome or silent beef [my nickname in the local bathhouse]; an all-thread team or postponed apology, people love to care.

my PT suggestion: leak (with clues) someone else's SHL beef/hatred/disdain [beef leaker is my nickname at a different bathhouse].
