Hello. I am SMHJHL rookie Wing Wang. Some of you may have heard of me. I would like to dispel any previous rumors made about my identity. I am not, nor have I ever been a cybernetic convection oven nor any other form of sentient home appliance. I am in fact a wurmple that descends from a long line of proud and distinguished wurmple. I hope to make my mark on history by playing hockey in the SHL someday. 

Just this is past week I made a huge step towards my goals by being drafted in the SHL minor league (whatever it’s called) by the Nevada Battle Born. I am extreme happy with where I landed and excited to be a productive participant in their team rebuild. I’ve met the general managers and have come to know and respect them. I plan to support their efforts in any way I can. 

The teammates in my draft class are also awesome people. Willie Miller and Melvin Majestik-Moose are my new buddies. Yesterday we went out for ice cream together and talked about how much Anaheim is a total crap hole of a city and how glad we were to have not gotten drafted there. It was a delightful team building experience. 

Speaking of experiences, Las Vegas is a super rad city. With no humidity, I never have to worry about sweaty swamp ass on my little wurmple butt. It’s amazing. I have taken up some of the local hobbies like hiking, pub crawling, perusing the art district, and cocaine. I expect to thoroughly enjoy my time here while it lasts. Here’s to the future and paving the way for other wurmple hockey players.
