Most evenings so I'll say about 20 hours give or take.

I'm hoping for a fun group to join and to be able to participate with right away!

- What are your general expectations of your juniors career? Are you looking for a long and successful career as a junior player, or are you hoping to be called up to the big leagues as soon as possible?
I'm looking to help the team that I'm on and to help make them succeed. If I'm able to help bring a championship to my junior team than I will do my best to accomplish that.

- What is your “why”? (I.E. Why did you sign up for the SHL? Why did you decide on this type of player?, etc)
I signed up for the league as I'm a hockey fan and love the idea of a community hockey sim. I played a lot of GM mode so being part of something similar is a lot of fun! I decided on the quarterback defenseman type of player as I want to be able to help produce offense while also guarding the back end. If I'm able to drive the play from the back but can hustle down to keep pucks out than I foresee myself being a valuable player to any team.

- Have you ever heard about Kelowna before joining this league?
Yes! I've heard of the Kelowna Rockets, I'm familiar with Regan Bartel being a shopping cart full of duck toys. Other thing would be Dane, the winner of Big Brother I believe a few years back lol. Only season I ever watched.

- How do you feel about walruses?
I hear Walrus, I think Paul MacLean. Legend.

I value good teammates! I'm really looking forward to the social aspect of this hockey sim so I'm really hoping to get on board with a real fun group.

Zapdos. I'm going with zapdos because I used to wreck all the kids in school when we'd have battles during recess.

- What type of player are you looking to build? Are you looking to play a more offensive or defensive role?
I am looking to build an offensively minded defenseman that will drive the play as a quarterback. I will be aiming to make the PP1 squad on the team. My goal will often be to get the puck to the guy who can score on the rush while also being able to guard the back end. Ideally at the end of a season I'll have many assists, a few goals, and a reliable +/- rating that lets GM's and coaches alike know that I won't be a liability.

- I have never been in a MMO-style sim league. I have played single-player sims such as Eastside Hockey Manager. I have loved hockey for 20+ years.

- I hope to join a fun group of people that want to grow in a shared experience. I am open to teams at any level of competition. Brand new, rebuilding, retooling, entering their window, nearing the end of their window, etc.

What are your general expectations of your juniors career? Are you looking for a long and successful career as a junior player, or are you hoping to be called up to the big leagues as soon as possible?
- I'd like to learn the ropes as a junior and be called up when natural progression dictates. It does not worry me to spend extra time developing as a junior.

What is your “why”? (I.E. Why did you sign up for the SHL? Why did you decide on this type of player?, etc)
- I signed up for the SHL looking for a hockey based community experience after reducing my time recently on other hockey social media. I picked a mobile two-way type of RHD because two of my favorite current players in the NHL are Adam Fox and Cale Makar.

Have you ever heard about Kelowna before joining this league?
- Kelowna the city? Only in the context of the WHL Kelowna Rockets. I am from the US and my experience working in Canada is limited to Ontario, Quebec, and NB.

How do you feel about walruses?
- My initial feelings are positive. And then I remember the Kevin Smith movie Tusk and have mixed feelings.

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

- The best defense is a good offense. I am looking to build the type of defender that is comfortable making plays in the offensive zone and is constantly looking to turn play around defensively with an active stick and tight gaps.

I prefer to be called up fairly quickly in general in these leagues as I care about career statistics in the majors.

Why did you decide on this type of player?, etc) I love these sim leagues and the SHL is the only league for me where I have yet to make a hall of fame player, yet to win an MVP title, yet to win a title as a GM, etc. So I am very focused on hopefully getting some of that done.

Short answer it is that it really varies. I spend a good amount of time each week on sim leagues. I'm normally available on Discord after 3PM EST every day and I save most of my job work (banking, updating, etc) until Sundays so I'm pretty site active then. Its just hard to put a number on it because I'm generally lurking somewhere.

I don't think so - at least not according to what I remember from elementary physics. Then again I'm not a physicist so who really knows

- What do you hope to get from your SMJHL team and what are you looking for in a team?

An active LR. Winning is great but not the make or break thing for me. Minor leagues are some of the best part of sim leagues - my experience on Dallas as an expansion team in the DSFL when I was a rookie there is what kept me in the league. Preferably somewhere that isn't all hockey all the time. To be honest I know nothing about hockey so it would be great to be able to chime in about other things.

Thats way above my paygrade, I'm just here to have to fun. I assume I'll get called up when its right to.

First time I signed up cause Ace and Joe recruited me. I got busy and faded out because of some work stuff. Have more free time and came back because overdoo recruited me to. Picked GK because I know nothing about hockey but can conceptualize what a GK can do.

"Defense wins championships" (shoutout to Madden 04) doesn't fit here which is a letdown. Defense is cool, my ISFL player(s) has always been on defense.

I think I kinda touched on this above but just an active place to chat. Preferably not entirely hockey chat but if thats what its going to be at least a place where I can pick up on the basics. I'm pretty casual when it comes to expectations.

They look weird so I won't eat them raw but if they're in something its totally fine.

Slowpoke. I like pink and I think he's funny looking. Plus he's one of the semi-OG ones which is nice.

I signed up for the SHL because I was bored of waiting for NHL to start, and I was looking for a community that's hockey related so the post on Reddit was like a sign.

Definitely Eevee, being able to transform into all those different forms is amazing. (Arguably everyone should love Ditto)

- What type of player are you looking to build? Are you looking to play a more offensive or defensive role?
I plan on building Lonley Stagan around the real Logan Stanley, a big defense who's going to defend his goalies lines of sight, keep the offense out of our crease, and to agitate anyone who comes near.

- Are you in any other sim leagues? Or, are you all about that hockey? I have been involved with the PBE for well over a year now. Baseball is my favorite sport, but I like hockey as well.

- How many hours a week do you usually have free? (ie. 1, 3, 6+, etc.) My life is in a state of flux right now, but I'd say enough time to do all the weekly tasks and maybe work on some articles.

- Is water wet? No. Wetness means to have water on something, water itself cannot be wet.

- What do you hope to get from your SMJHL team and what are you looking for in a team? I'd like a team that will help me learn how to properly develop my player into the kind of player I want to develop him into.

- What are your general expectations of your juniors career? Are you looking for a long and successful career as a junior player, or are you hoping to be called up to the big leagues as soon as possible? I'd like to have a decent SMJHL career, and move up when I feel I am ready to make the next step to the SHL, whenever that happens to be.

- What is your “why”? (I.E. Why did you sign up for the SHL? Why did you decide on this type of player?, etc) I signed up for the league because I thought it might be fun and help me learn more about the sport of hockey, as well as to make new friends as I have done in the PBE. I created my player as an offensive weapon because I think that will make for an exciting career.

- How do you feel about walruses? Interesting-looking animals.

- What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow? 11 m/s

- What do you value in your team locker room? Acceptance and willingness to help out newbies.

- Mushrooms. What are your thoughts on them? Existentially horrifying, yet delicious.

- What’s your favorite Pokemon? Why? Infernape, because it is the final form of my starter Pokemon from Pokemon Platinum for the DS, which was my first-ever Pokemon video game. My father bought it for me when I was home sick with the flu all the way back in the sixth grade. Infernape carried me all the way through the game.

- What type of player are you looking to build? Are you looking to play a more offensive or defensive role? I am looking to build a strong offensive player, a sniper who gets clear and fires on the goal from long range quickly before the defense has time to set up.
