i thought graduation was really average. His first two albums, he was really able to speak on his faults with honesty and that is what made me love him. With Graduation it was a bunch of poppy singles and a lot of bragging. It kinda turned me off

Fair enough. I haven't listened to his past albums in full, something I plan to change. I haven't been disappointed with a Kanye album yet so I can't wait to check out his previous works.

I highly suggest giving College Dropout a good listen. Such an introspective album for him.
