S61 PT#1- A Sim-ple Day

Well Nathan wakes up in the morning like any other sim day. The basement is flooding, the kitchen is on fire… Well just another day at home though. Quickly look to find and put out the fire, was easy enough bailing water from the basement to use upstairs. Then fixed the leaking pipe in order to clean it up in time to get my max fitness training out of the basement gym. Then it is back upstairs to the bedroom where I make yet another child with one of the now 10 random women that live in my house. This will be child number 13. Then next it in the shower where I am met with yet another random woman from my house. Nothing like some high quality pixelated fun for the family! from there I attempt to get a quick nap in to get the energy levels back up before heading off to the bus stop to take it to the rink.

When I wake up, I take the phone out and spend 30 or so minutes browsing random things from social media and news sites. Then I get up, take a quick shower, and make myself breakfast. I eat the same thing every single morning - porridge. While I shovel the porridge into my system, I browse my work e-mails. Usually, my agent sends me a message early in the morning to let me know the latest news. I'm trying to find a team at the moment.
Once I'm done eating, I do the dishes and clean the place a little bit. Then I go to the gym or practice rink for morning skate. We got quite a few free agents together in Finland, the players are from all over the world, but we have one thing in common - we all want to find a team to play in for the upcoming season. It's nice to have that support system in place as we can push each other forward, and we get to do some high-intensity drills on the ice. After the workout, I head to the local supermarket to buy ingredients for lunch. Pasta and meat usually. I make that, I eat that, and then I relax for some hours. Depending on the day I might head back to the gym or ice rink for one more practice. I need to stay in shape, so my day is all about working out right now. ![]() Registered Senior Member
When I wake on a game day, I make myself a hearty breakfast of eggs and toast. I wash it down with a generous helping of orange juice. After digesting all of that, I do a very light workout consisting of a few short reps of interval training. Post workout, I take a shower and then usually chill by playing video games or watching something on Netflix. When that concludes, I listen to meditation music to try to get my mind right for the task at hand. Hockey is a sport with ebbs and flows so I can never let myself get too up or too down. It helps me to keep my focus when things aren't going my way. I love finding my zen. It isn't always easy to do, because this sport takes a lot out of you both physically and mentally. I like to think that I can beat the demons that try to knock me down.

Roddy B likes to wake up early on his off days, usually letting himself sleep in until a leisurely 7:30 AM. Then, it is his customary hot breakfast of spaghetti and homemade sausage, twenty minutes of light yoga for mobility, and a good book. The meat and potatoes of an off day usually consists of a battery of recovery activities. Steam room, light swimming, a walk in the park. In the afternoons, he does work for his charity, HVAC, and finds time for his fans. There's always letters to answer and tweets to twont. Dinner is a quiet affair, occasionally with a friend or teammate. Roddy goes for plenty of fruit and vegetables on his off days, saving his heavy carbs for that signature breakfast. Once he's finished with dinner, he does a final round of stretching and some hand-eye coordination exercise (gaming).
Then he gets into a groove and carves wooden lawn gnomes until he literally collapses from hunger or exhaustion. ![]() ![]() Registered Member
For Jonas Johansson, an average day in the Simverse is waking up where I then take a dump and proceed to shower. Having burnt down my house 3 times already, I am now an expert in cooking, so I whip up a perfect breakfast. My carpool arrives, so I try cancelling my actions to make it in time... and I missed the carpool again. Good thing I'm the backup keeper I guess. Luckily, Newfoundland hasn't fired me yet despite missing over 50% of games and practices. I guess you could say finding balance is hard in the Simverse (and in real life). Since I missed practiced I decided to study my next opponent then went on the treadmill for 3 hours before I smelled like such shit my sim refused to run anymore. So I took another shit, showered, chow down on some perfect food, then head back to bed. Hopefully I don't miss our game tomorrow, I'm supposed to start.

As someone who has never played the sims: Luffy Richard wakes up and goes around the house being fruitlessly clicked from one area to the next. I’m frustration, Luffy begins to burn the house down around him. Concerned, a sim teammate comes to check on Luffy and finds him still aimlessly wandering in the ashy ruins of his home.
To remedy this situation, I delete this save file and start a new game. This time the click are more conscious. I make him work out, but I forgot to add a shower so sim Luffy smells worse than the house from Texas chainsaw massacre. When he goes to practice, he is shunned until he showers, but since I do not believe I can control him when he is away from home, Luffy is cut from the team and proceeds to burn down the house again. I’m frustration, I delete this Luffy as well, along with the game and anything sim related. I take my computer and throw it away. But sim Luffy haunts my dreams and I imagine he is clicking me aimlessly around until I go insane…. ![]() File Worker Posting Freak
A day in the life of Kyle Sutton starts at 6am regardless of whether its an off day or not. Consistency is key and early risers are more successful. Just kidding, Sutton has two kids and if the sun is up, the kids are up which means he is up too. Sutton will go about his day fueling his body with breakfast, and then seeing the kids off to school on the bus. If there is no hockey for the day, he will then head to the rink and proceed to do a vigorous strength training workout followed by a swim in the pool. Post workout nutrition is important so he prepares a big meal and then takes an even bigger nap. Days with hockey aren't much different, head to rink after breakfast for a workout, practice, morning skate, then go home and enjoy the rest of day the with the kids. Day ends with Mr and Mrs Sutton practicing making baby number 3 and then off to bed. 6am comes early.
Apologies for how boring and mundane this PT response is, I don't play The Sims or have any clue how the game works. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Registered S15, S16 and S28 Challenge Cup Champion
My sim would be an awful hockey player. Whenever I play the sims, it's usually just chaos. Time doesn't flow the same way for the sims. There is no bedtime, it's go to bed when your sleep gauge is empty. Better hope it doesn't coincide with your bladder gauge being empty, or you're peeing on the floor. Unless we were to somehow implement a 3 in the morning hockey league, there's no way sim me would be able to perform admirably enough to be a hockey player, no matter how much athletic training I gave him.
Honestly I think it may be easier to drag my 28 year old ass out everyday and become a hockey player, than somehow do all the things necessary for a sim to do the same. At least I can work around my schedule more than the orgaized chaos that is The Sims. That and their stupid language, ever try to chirp someone in simish, it just sounds ridiculous. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Registered Posting Freak

Easy.
Step one: Hit the gym. Hard. Sims need fitness, hockey players are no different. We start running treadmills like they are the drive way to your house when you gotta poop reeeeeeal bad. Once our strength has maxed out and we are looking like slick David Pastrnak on the beaches of Lhota Lake, we can start bodying fellas on the ice. I want that Sim to be sooo strong that the ice splits with his skates. Step two: The mirror. Charisma is the unsung hero of the SHL. Think of your biggest heroes, your favourite spokespeople - they all have mouths and can talk. So, we chat up a storm with the mirror, gaining the power of seduction, persusasion, deception, and all social aspects. Think of the demoralizing chirps you can debilitate your foes with - "nice shoes, loser", "get bent, hoser", etc. (okay, I'm not an expert myself) - then simply skate around them like the pylons they are. ![]() ![]() ![]() Registered Posting Freak
Makrus starts his day by waking up bright and early at noon. Makrus doesn’t eat breakfast because last time he tried to cook he burned the condo complex to the ground and had to reload from a previous save. Makrus heads for a shower before heading to practice. Makrus isn’t concerned that during his shower or anytime he is naked he gets blurry. This is probably something that happens to everyone. Makrus feeds his pet wolf Zephyr, which is just a reskinned dog, before leaving. At practice everyone seems to talk much more than practice. This seems to be the most accurate part of the sim. After practice the team talks more in the locker room which a totally normal amount of flirting. They would leave and go home but someone appears to have removed the door. No one is too concerned as this happens from time to time. Oh no a cow plant just appeared. Not again…………

I’d definitely probably wake up in my sim house, and probably would end up burning breakfast. My sim would yell something in Simlish, and the fire truck would come. Luckily, my house wouldn’t burn down. Then I’d send my sim to his hockey job (probably after he pees on the floor though). Once he returns home, I’d have to get him to clean the mess that piled up that I’ve been seriously ignoring. Then I’d probably take him next door, to the neighbours that I created. I’d have him flirt with the neighbours wife (unsuccessfully likely) and then return home when they kick me out. I would definitely not be able to afford a pool, but that’s what the cheats are for. I’d build a gigantic pool, and send him for an evening dip. As always, I’d wait a few minutes and remove the ladder. RIP to my sim. Ps I was always more of a “Roller Coaster Tycoon” guy

Usual day in the life of Conner Snooks the Sim involves waking up and having burgers (or maybe hot dogs) for breakfast. Actually, its one of those two for every meal as there's no oven in his massive single room house, only a grill (well four of them). Then we spend the day cleaning, cause I always have a party the night before and I need to get that cleaning skill up for my second job as a lab assistant. Then its a dip in the indoor pool that takes up about 75% of the floor space of my massive, one room, one floor house (with a tiny bathroom). Then we call everyone to get the massive party started. However, its time to report to my second job so my roommate Bonner Crooks (definitely NOT a criminal) has to let everyone in and start the party. I then come home exhausted from cleaning chemistry equipment and hockey practice. Relax with some blackjack at my personal casino table before falling asleep on the couch, cause who needs beds in a massive pool party room.

Tell him to tell you how my player would be in the game The Sims he wakes up in the morning after sleeping for about 45 minutes after coming off the Bender to end all benders and you know what it's game day and he knows that he is going to be in for a rough day so what he's going to do is going to spend most the morning eating breakfast getting over his hangover and with all of his stats completely in the freaking read what I'm going to do is I'm going to pause the game I'm going to click on my little guy and I'm going to delete his ass and then once I jumped back into the game all of his stats are going to be back in the green and he's going to be ready to go out and play hockey he's going to have absolutely no issues and he's going to go out and kick some major ass
