Task 7 - Stream Regular Season Day 3 -The first game of the day was the Kraken against the Berserkers. The berserkers came out strong with an early first goal, then the Kraken tied it up but after that it was all Berserkers as they ended it with a final of 5-1. It was a strong game giving the Berserkers a 6-1-0 record so far on the season. The second game of the day was the Scarecrows vs the Outlaws, with the scarecrows dominating, blowing out the outlaws early. The final score of that game was 5-1 for the scarecrows. Ironically same score as the first game, both being bad blow outs, and with the home team winning. The third game was also a very offensive game between the Citadels, and Falcon. The only difference was it was the away team that took control of the game. The game ended with a final score of 6-2 for the Citadels, the first away team (of the day to win). In this I will not write about all the games but the final one I will end on will be the last game of the stream which was between Berserkers and Grizzlies. The first part of the final game was slow, although Berserkers controlled most of the play in the 1st. However, it is the Grizzlies who take the early lead, but quickly tied up by the Berserkers. Then the Grizzlies take the lead back and increase it. It was a decisive victory for the Grizzlies winning the game with a final score of 5-2. That is 8/8 complete.

7. Yesterday I watched the SMJHL Prospect showcase streams so I could follow the progress of my player, who was chosen to play for the Sand Lions. After a rough start where the team went 0-2-1, the Sand Lions played a game against the Yoshis where they charged back from a 3-0 deficit to win the game in a shootout. My player also picked up his first point, an assist, on the Sand Lion's first goal of the game. After also picking up a second assist, he was chosen as first star of the game. Despite going pointless in the first three games, my player picked up a total of 5 assists over the next 6 games to close out the stream, helping the Sand Lions improve to a more respectable 4-4-1 record in third place. Although this put the team 5 points back from second, it did leave them 4 points clear of the last place Mexico City Aztecs.

Going into game 6 of the SMJHL Four Star Cup Finals the Newfoundland Berserkers have a 3 game to 2 lead over the Anchorage Armada. The game starts and Nike Kickz Jr wins the opening faceoff of Game 6 against David S. Pumpkins. Leon Athanasios gets the first shot of the game but Yanno Rosejac is able to make the save. The first half of the first period is very back and forth but, as we hit the 11-minute mark of the first period the Berserkers begin to take a commanding shot lead getting off 8 SOG in just 2 minutes putting tremendous pressure on Anchorage. But it isn't until 14:27 into the first period that Newfoundland is able to take the lead with a goal-scored Robert Black assisted by Billy Brooks, and Slavakov Vladimirashenko. The first period ends with Newfoundland leading Anchorage 1-0. Newfoundland comes out of the intermission with the same energy that they had in the first. By the halfway point of the second, Newfoundland has an astounding 31 to 12 shot lead, but Anchorage goaltender Yanno Rosejac is keeping their team within one. With about 6 minutes remaining in the second Anchorage seems to find their footing and are able to apply some heavy pressure to Newfoundland. But with 3:35 remaining in the second Newfoundland center, Ric Charlesworth wins a defensive zone faceoff back to Jannik Nordstern who passes to defensive partner Sabarro Torretta. Torretta then passes the puck up ice to left-winger Robert E. O. Speedwagon. Speedwagon makes an unbelievable pass to Ric Charlesworth that leads to a breakaway and he puts it in the back of the Anchorage net for a 2-0 lead. The third period is very back and forth neither team is in control till Nike Kickz Jr gets a 2-minute minor penalty for roughing with 6:56 remaining. Anchorage is able to get a few shots off but ultimately the Newfoundland penalty kill is just too strong and is able to kill the penalty. Shortly after the penalty Erik Andrews is able to find the back of the net with assists from Nike Kickz Jr and Shion Okamoto to put Newfoundland up by a score of 3-0. With only a few minutes left on the clock, Newfoundland is able to hold onto the three-goal lead to close out the series in 6 games and take home the Four Star Cup off the back of an amazing performance from Evgeni Petrov stoping 26 out of 26 saves for a cup clinching shutout. The shots end with Newfoundland 43, Anchorage 26. The 3rd star of the game goes to Shion Okamoto, the Second star to Billy Brooks, and the first star goes to Evgeni Petrov. 7. Today I watched the SMJHL Day 7 livestream. First up was Great Falls taking on Kelowna and the Grizzlies walked away with a easy 4-1 victory. The MET/CAR game was actually really close and a great game to watch with a 4-3 MET victory. I didn't expect that, I thought CAR would have had the win. STL walked over REG with a 6-1 lead, the game wasn't that interesting. ANC vs DET saw Anchorage pull away in the 2nd period with a 3-1 lead and 15+ shots over DET, the Falcons did attempt a 3rd period push but fell short 3-2.
Then there were a bunch of quick sims and a live sim that was accidentally quick simmed, which was for the better because it was a blowout anyways.
QCC went on to bet ANA 9-4 in a game that should have been a little closer, but putting up 4 goals is still an accomplishment. Even Borje scored.
After that I had to go to work but NL and MET would be a good game, MET wins probably, ANC probably beat STL, NBB likely walked over GFG, and COL padded their stats against KEL
@Mook Graded, 1 mil for task + 1 mil bonus for finishing. -Ruggsy
7 - S60 WJC Playoffs - Team NAN (Away) vs Team Sweden (Home)
Going into the 3rd period, Sweden had a 3-2 lead but team NA tied it up quickly on a goal by Duncan Mackenzie assisted by Sam Stone only 55 seconds into the period. Team Sweden re-asserted their dominance taking the lead again on a goal by Ric Charlesworth 2 minutes later. Sweden continued to push establishing a 2 goal lead with 9:30 left in the game. From there it was mostly Team Sweden with a 38-15 shot advantage. While Team NA tried to mount a comeback with a goal late in the 3rd to narrow the lead to 4-5 it was too little too late.
7) I was able to watch RD Lenny Hawk’s first games for the Carolina Kraken on Thursday. Our set of 3 games began with a 4-3 overtime win vs QCC. GRANNY WITH THE OT WINNER BABY! Awesome being a part of the Discord as it all was happening. Lenny came out of the game with 4 blocked shots, 3 hits, and a solid -3. Game 2 saw us doing STL dirty with a 9-1 win, plenty of Kraken getting on the scoreboard, including your very own Lenny Hawk getting his FIRST GOAL IN THE SMJHL in his second game! Big shout out to Patya for getting an assist while on the bench, twice. The final game of the day saw Lenny’s first loss as a part of the Kraken, losing 5-1 to ANC. Lenny returned to game 1 form with a -2 and 0’s across the stat sheet otherwise. The day ended with good vibes all around and definite excitement from Lenny, who even after the loss was still grinning ear to ear after that game 2 bullet.

T4 -> Point Task #4
T5 - > Graphics Task
T6 -> Deep Dive
T7 -> SMJHL Day 12 stream, Anaheim Outlaws vs Regina Elk. My player Stephan Gill started the game by winning the initial faceoff though lost the puck within 3s of the start of the game. Looked like it would be a repeat of previous games for Stephan who has had a really diss point rookie season far, hopefully he’ll be able to turn it around soon. After 5 mins Ana have managed a huge total of 1 shot on goal so far and are not looking like they’ll get many more. After 10 mins, the score is 0-0 with both team failing to find a way to break the deadlock. With 6:27 left on the clock in the first third Gus Ceroni finds the back of the net to give Ana a one goal lead, and so the score would remain for the reay of the third. Ana managing 13 shots with Regard only getting 12.
Reg manage to get back on level pegging early in the second with a goal by Barry Benson. A poor second third saw Anaheim only manage 4 shots on target whilst Regina did a tad better with 7, the fans certainly aren’t getting the best cake for money so far in this game. Hopefully the play will pick up in the final third.
After 4 mins in the third Robert Speedwahon is able to give Regina the lead, nothing much else happens for a while. With 10 mins left to play Regina have a small lead 2-1, are Anaheim able to find a way to draw or even win. With 5 mins left Anaheim are throwing everything at the Regina defence who are holding firm socking up the pressure well. 1 min left and the score remains 2-1 Anaheim are now getting desperate Alas it wasn’t to be for Anaheim who lost 2-1 in a close game.
Hopefully all task completes now!
@CptGoosar Sure does! Graded, 4 mil for tasks +1 mil bonus -Ruggsy
