One time I traded AJ Green and Emmanuel Sanders for Julio Jones in fantasy football. I won the league and Emmanuel Sanders and AJ Green didn't play again that year after I traded them.

yeah there was that time i traded for gecko from manhattan that was a fun trade that was my first ever and only trade i think it was a ripoff though :( @GeckoeyGecko

One of dumbest trades I have ever made was when I was 7 years old. I traded my phone for chocolate. My mom wasn't very happy about it because she bought me that phone one week earlier. But I was a kid and I wanted the chocolate. :D

Looking back on some trades I made as a GM in the SHL, I found one that I remember fondly. As GM of New England, I dealt Edwin Ask and a S17 2nd round pick to Minnesota for Jermaine Tennyson and a S18 4th round pick. Ask was inactivate but higher TPE at the time I believe and Tennyson went on to be our #1 in the crease, a great locker room presence and helped us win a Challenge Cup.

We recently made the first trade in Philadelphia history where we swapped a second and future first for edmontons first so that we could draft Aleris as we felt like he fit our team perfectly.

I made a pretty big trade in life when I left all my friends and family to move to a different state. It was for my own good to escape all the negative influences in my life and focus on getting my degree. Luckily, the trade paid off!

When I was a GM in the DSFL, my co-GM made a meme trade for last overall in the draft and we drafted kmattt, while I was against it as first he eventually became a staple receiver for my J team for his whole eligibility.

I have traded waking up feeling alright to some late night hours of having fun. And to be honest, I make that trade every day. That one or two extra hour at night feels every day like a good idea, although I know I will regret it in the morning.

One time I was playing my daughter in a match of her favorite game, Chess. She is learning and getting better, but dad isn't going easy on her. Late in the match i traded my queen for her bishop and found Mate in 2.

I've made a lot of trades in the SHL but the biggest one I did was trading my sanity and free time to become the commissioner of the league, just to have users decide what is best for them is best for them and not give a shit about the league or the users trying to run it.

Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't end up making at all. A few years ago I was so close to buying a new car on lease just in time for an imminent vacation road trip. It was kind of an impulse buy and I was really looking forward to driving the new car during the trip. But as it went, since the trip was going to be abroad, the seller had objections to allowing me to take it out of the country during the two-week window where it is possible to redecide on a contract in our country. So even though I had already cleared thing with a leasing company and all that, realizing that I was still going to have to take my old car on the road trip finally sobered me up enough that I decided to actually use my right to back out of the deal without consequences. It was tough on my pride to make the decision and seem like a flaky idiot to all involved, but I suddenly just felt that it was the right thing to do despite the inconveniences it would present to all involved.

But a positive consequence that I did not plan on at the time ended up being that only about six months later my keeping the money that I would have put in as a downpayment on the car and also not being burdened with a considedable lease that I had to service enabled me and my wife to finally go and buy ourselves our very own apartment instead - something that we had not planned on at the time of the car buying saga. So to this day I am grateful for that sobering voice inside that told me to swallow my pride and back out of that deal back then. Otherwise we might have well been hung to dry by our banks when we finally got to looking for our own place instead of the rentals that we had been in until then.

pretty much every player i have created in a sim league has been super loyal to his team so theres not much to talk of there. but i do GM the Roswell Aliens of the SCFSL and before our most recent season Infidel, having recently acquired a team, and i traded our QBs. his team was in rebuild mode while Roswell is trying to stay afloat as a top tier team, so i traded my aging inactive QB and a pick for his active QB. Infidel was able to draft a QB shortly after, giving them a season to develop while using the QB he received from my team. the future of Roswell is now more stable with an active QB just coming into their prime. seems like a win-win to me.

I once gave my brother $25, in exchange for $40 at a later time. He got to buy something he really wanted in the moment, and I got $15 added to my wallet.
