Winding into some of the most coveted awards, we start with the Scott Stevens award for best Defenseman of the season! This season we have 4 nominees, as >2/3 of the committee chose to nominate each of the four defenders here. Your nominees are:
Augustus Wang Wang had a stellar season for the Stampede, putting up 64 points, second most among all defenders. With solid block and hit numbers, Wang had ridiculous possession numbers, registering a 71.7 CF%, good for a 10% corsi rel, and a 10.9% FF% rel.
Keith Lee Lee finished tied for 3rd in defender points, with 56, and registered over 24 minutes per game – good for 4th most in the league. Lee had 151 blocks and 129 hits, and very solid possession numbers to drive play for the panthers.
Hugh Jazz Jazz led all defenders with 67 points, an insane +63, and was the only ppg defender. Jazz registered 21 power play points, and 103 hits. Jazz had solid possession numbers, along with a decent TK/GA ratio, and a large number of hits, for the PIM amassed.
Kaspars Claude Claude tied for 5th in defender scoring with 55 points, 155 hits, along with 96 blocks. Also nominated for the Bojo, Claude had a positive TK/GA ratio, and very impressive possession numbers, with over a 12 corsi rel %.

Now on to the John McBride award for the best goaltender of the season! Your nominees are:
Jon St. Ark With a 31.4 GSAA, St. Ark registered a 3.60 GAA, along with a 0.923 Sv%, good for 2nd among starters. St. Ark lead the Specters this season, and also registered 3 shutouts.
Nicolae Antonescu Antonescu makes another appearance in this award, garnering another nomination. With a 3rd best GSAA of 27.6, Antonescu tied for 2nd in Sv% among starters, registered 4 shutouts, and a 2.74 GAA, good for 8th best among starters.
Strom Chamberlain Chamberlain lead the Barracuda to a much improved season, coming in 3rd in GAA among starters, registering 3 shutouts, and tied for the 2nd best Sv% of 0.923 among starters. Chamberlain registered a 25.6 GSAA, good for 4th best in the league.

With that, we are down to the last player award, the Ron Mexico award for MVP as voted by the committee. Our nominees are:
Aaron Wilson our Khan winner, Wilson lead all players in points with 104, by 17 points over the second leading scorer. Wilson dominated in only 20 mins of ice time, registering 100 hits, and drove possession for a dominant Hamilton team that he lead.
Karl Krashwagen The third leading scorer of the season, Krashwagen scored 85 points, playing significant time on both the power play and the penalty kill. Krashwagen had 98 blocks and 127 hits, leading the Platoon to 2nd in the league with some solid possession numbers.
Cal Labovitch Labovitch lead the league with 42 goals, and finished 12th in the league with 72 points. He outscored his next highest teammate by 14 points, and registered 77 blocks, a decent TK/GA ratio, and good possession numbers for the Monarchs.

Finally, the last award for tonight is the Damian Littleton, awarded to the most dedicated member of the past season! With so many deserving candidates, we do our best to narrow down the candidates… Thank you all for your hard work! Your nominees are:
BadWolf: Often someone discussed by the committee, this is one of BadWolfs first nominations for the Littleton. BadWolf is the SMJHL commissioner, and works very hard on the early experience for users in the J!
SlashACM: Slash recently took on the role of PT director, a job that requires a lot of time and dedication. Slash has really taken on a creative role, giving a lot of different prompts. Slash also started putting out two prompts for every PT.
Kalakar: This was Kal’s last season as an SHL simmer, which is a job that requires an extreme level of dedication. This season, Kal implemented the first sim team, training the other simmers, and setting it up to be a less demanding role. Kal has been one of the most dedicated members of the SHL over his tenure as the SHL simmer!
