What made you want to sign with Calgary the most?
- Calgary was that one team who really showed me that they are interested to sign me. There was some tries from other teams, but Dragons were the only one who made a step closer to actually sign me. They wanted to do it quickly to not lose a chance and I really appreciate it. I am interested to play for a team who are really interested to get me on their roster, if you understand what I mean.

How do you feel after the first few days with a new team?
- Oh, it feels great! Calgary is amazing city, Dragons have friendly and just cool players and helpful coaches. As I said before, I have a feeling that I found my home. It might sound ridiculous because I'm here so short time, but it really feels like that. It's just too cozy here. Everyone is trying to help and Dragons made me sure they will use all my potential.

Are the pings in the Dragons discord getting to you yet?
- Slowly. I love energy of Dragons locker room and I think it's awesome. It's professional, friendly and funny. You just can't hate it! I am sure I will get these pings more and more with time!

Any thoughts on the SMJHL draft?
- I will be honest - I am not following really closely to SMJHL draft usually. Only if there's some name who I know. I usually follow only SHL drafts because there you can see the real players - the ones who kept their hustle after SMJHL and made sure to get far in this league. SMJHL draft prospects are unpredictable and that's why I don't hype up or follow really closely to SMJHL drafts.

What about the SHL draft?
- Oh. I saw it. Didn't spend the whole time watching it, but I saw it. And I predicted almost everything wrong, haha. I'm not sad, upset or anything - I'm a bit shocked about outcome of this draft. But top prospects deserved to get drafted so high for sure.

Bold takes on the upcoming season?
- Won't lie - I don't think these new budget rules will change something. I think Renegades, Steelhawks, Syndicate and Stampede will still dominate regular season. I think that in Play-Offs we will able to shock, because teams don't understand how good we are. Dragons were already a good team last season. We made Play-Offs, fought hard and now... Our roster has gotten better in many aspects. If not this, then next season is ours for sure!

What's your favorite form of chicken parm?
- Everything with curry or curry sauce is freaking delicious!

What do you think this move to Calgary does from a fantasy perspective.. where do you see Aumy Jr being drafted in fantasy drafts next season? And Are there any players in the current fantasy draftees that Aumy can be compared too?
- Oh, to be honest - I don't focus on that. I asume Aumy Jr. will be drafted high just because of his TPE amount and how good he is, but I don't focus on that. I focus on bringing that cup to Calgary. I don't think he can be compared to anyone aswell. He is legendary and he's the only Aumy Jr.

Best on the ice moment in Buffalo?
- I never had a Challenge Cup before, so it was very memorable. It would have been more memorable if I would get it while playing for an underdog team, but it was anyway very cool. I would say it was the most memorable moment because I didn't really have any inside banter with my teammates or great chemistry. Cup! That's the moment!

What’s your thoughts on the Dragons off season?
- Arguably the best off season I've ever witnessed in SHL from a team. So many great moves. I think these moves made Dragons already a TOP 4 team. W off-season.

What songs should be part of the next Dragons hype video?
- Definitely our new roster. Our young core, our best players and energy. Best moments from previous seasons because this season - we will have them more than before. This is that one season when we show who are!

There are a lot of younger players about to make the dragon roster, any thoughts on them?
- I like them. Makela, Valor, Saint-Michel and all others. They're doing great - amazing stats and insanely good players. I will be happy if I will have an opportunity to spend my last seasons while they are in their primes. I just see how dangerous they will be in this league.

Is now the year that Calgary breaks up the big four teams and wins it all?
- I can see it happen this season for sure. If not this season, next season the latest for sure. This roster is dangerous and a lot of teams doesn't understand that. I think they underestimate us. They better be ready! Challenge Cup soon will come to Calgary!

How does it feel to be back in Calgary after originally be drafted there with your first player?
- As I said before - it's amazing! I love to be in Calgary. I wanted it to be my home back then, but it was hard to make it happen, but it's now it's it! I'm here - official Dragons player and one of the best active roster players. Feels great!

Calgary has a couple Latvian members on the team already in Kikish and Lux, are you excited to be joining your countrymen in Calgary?
- I know only Kikish from these two mentioned people and he is very cool. I don't know second one, but I asume he is a great player and teammate aswell. At the end of the day - I'm still fighting for team Finland even if I'm from Latvia legally.

Any pre or post-game rituals for the player Aumy Jr?
- I don't have any big pre-game rituals. I think it's obvious that you just take all of your energy and make put it to bring home a win. I might make it sound a bit corny, but post-game ritual might be just winning a game and bringin them points or even a chip home! It's all what matters for the team at the end of the day, right?

Who's jersey will be a better seller among female fans between the ages of 18-24, Aumy Jr or #A-Rye Izzy?
- Hahaha, this might be my favourite question yet! I think it will be close. However, Izzy is amazing player and he will be face of this league soon for sure, so he can sellout me. Most important thing is to fight for a victory, so I don't think we will have a race for selling jerseys, haha.

What has been the greatest part of joining the Dragons family?
- Hard to say only one. It's just an amazing experience for me in general. I have never felt so welcomed in one place. Feels great to be here. Said it multiple times already, but I just love it all in general.

What are your thoughts on Chicken Parm?
- You already know - I love everything if it tastes good! Chicken Parm is one of them for sure!

What current Calgary member are you most excited to play with?
- This team is amazing by itself. I'm hyped to play with every of these players. Of course, I won't be in the same line with all of them, but this team is really dope and I think I will play good with all of our roster. Cale Amundsen will be cool to work with. He is a great goalie, helped me to get here and is from my draft class. Esa Parmborg is son of my dad's previous teammate. That's cool aswell. #A-Rye Izzy is another player who helped me to get exactly on Dragons roster, so it will be cool to play with him too. Chris Goodname is player who I know already a long time and it will be interesting what we can do together as defender duo aswell. These are just few players. List goes on and on. Hyped to play will all of our players for sure.

What experience can you bring from your former playoff team to a young, hungry Dragons squad?
- It isn't based on skill or how stacked your team is. It's based on team chemistry and how good teamplay is. Hockey is a team game. You have to play with team not for yourself. Dragons squad are hungry and I'm sure it will help in closest seasons to bring us a cup!
